Delicious seafood pizzas, gosh!!! I think this has been the best seafood pizza I've ever had. A definite must try if you in the Hermanus area. Don't let the look fool you😉

What a great surprise, I popped in here for a drink and snack on the way home and loved it. The pizzas were great, the sushi was nice (way better than one would expect from a pub). Service was friendly and efficient and the views of the new harbour is nice. Definitely recommended!

We had the privilege traveling Cape town last week, and had a one night stay in Hermanus, This was our decision as this was close to where we stayed.. I am full of nonsense when it comes to pizza! But this was probably one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! We will go back only for this restaurant and lovely pub vibe! Thanks for this amazing experience!

Stopped in for a coffee and a pint while visiting the new harbour. Well located with lots of open views giving 270’ views across the harbour and the ocean. Chilled spot with good music - worth a visit. Peaceful and as an added bonus a whale was briefly spotted.

Cool pub in the docks with a sea view, delicious pizza and comprehensive drinks menu. A little grubby in a seaspray kind of way, but a vibe with live music some nights. Unpretentious and friendly staff.

Enjoyed a late afternoon meal overlooking the ocean. Pizzas were fantastic. Beer was good. Service was quick and friendly. Background music was a great selection of tracks. Loved the 'pub' vibe of the place.

The reviews don't lie: very good sushi! We paid R80 for 4x salmon roses. California rolls and fashion sandwhiches are around R90 for 8, depending on the type of fish you want. Also a beautiful ocean view - it almost feels like you are on a boat. A suggestion for improvement would be to change the tables that stand by the lounge chairs because the sofas are very low and the tables are thus too high, making you feel like a midget when sitting there and eating. This is also not good for your back.

Fantastic place with one of the best ocean views in Hermanus, regardless of the weather! The pizza was delicious and I love the variety of seating available. Always has beer on tap and specials going.

It's a lovely place and definitely enjoyed the view while eating. The live band was a bonus. I would recommend Gecko Bar anytime

Went to watch rugby. Great location, spectacular views of the harbour and bay, even saw a whale. Service friendly and efficient, pizzas were excellent, but we were blown away in a bad way by the wine prices. R210 for the cheapest bottle of white wine!! Come on, it was a nice wine, but R210 in a bar!! Offered at R60 a glass!! Why no decent house wines? There are so many vineyards in the area that would fall over themselves to get their wines listed. If you need any help we could suggest some. It would be really interesting to know how many bottles of the top end wines are sold, these range from the R600 mark. While we were there, we were the only people drinking wine which, at those prices, is not surprising. We would go back for the views and the food, but definitely not for the wine

Awesome dive bar. Get the pizza with the cream cheese, you will have no regrets. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Really casual, comfortable vibe.

Best sundowner PUB in Hermanus - ON the water. Great food and beer on tap. Daily specials. GREAT sushi. We can recommend the pizzas. Live music on some evenings. Inside and outside seating.

Our local... Last night we watched and listened to the amazing Keagan Williams with fellow Groove Missionary CJ. Such talented musos! Always a jol! Didn't eat there last night, but pizzas, sushi and other food is always good. It's a week later and we came for pizzas. The place was packed which was great to see, but unfortunately it seemed to have a knock on effect to the quality of the food. The pizzas were terrible. First one eventually arrived luke warm. We started eating. Second one arrived ice cold. Sent it back.. The plate came back hot, but the pizza was still cold.. Bleh.. There were hardly any toppings on either of them. Didn't even get through half. Disappointing.

Lovely views and shows both premier league and six nations rugby. Live music a few evenings a week. A bit outside of hermanus centre so book a cab in advance if coming back late at night

The place offers great views and the sushi was delicious. The Magharita cocktail was also good. The first waiter who received us had a weird vibe about him but the one who looked after us at our table was absolutely friendly.

Shared laughter, good conversation, good company and great music. Takura, Manu and their audience made the evening spectacular

It's a really great location, the food and drink prices are good but it needs a little outside maintenance on the tables. We also unfortunately saw a shard of broken glass that hadn't been spotted, I think that outside could maybe use some extra cleaning.

The location is magnificent! Such a pity the owners & staff are unwelcoming & not that friendly. It's sad to see such a local gem, empty on the few occasions we have been there, to sit at dusty tables to enjoy the view if the harbour & the seals & whales. Their pizza is good, we shares a seafood pizza which made up for the feeling that we were imposing🙈

Best fish and chips in Hermanus plus you are treated to amazing sea views. Superb range of beers on tap. A must visit to any visitors wanting to get a local pub feel in Hermanus. My local for 11 years and counting....
