UPDATE: Racist clientele and spineless owner. Take a black person to this pub with you and you could be banned!! Is this the 21st Century or what?! Although I have hardly been to my local for the last year I still like to pop in now and then. I went down to get a burger special with my son last night to find out that I have been banned because clientele had complained about me bringing a black person with me the last time I went there. 2 years ago I gave it a five star review. What a crock! My local. Goddard's is my local pub. It's got a real old English pub feel, is filled with quirky locals and has very reasonably priced pub fare. Outstanding steak rolls. Pet friendly!

There are some well painted pictures of WW2 fighter aircraft .Spitfire,Kitty hawk etc.

The atmosphere is great, the drinks come swiftly and the bartenders are friendly. The food is a problem. Half of the time you recieve a great meal cooked to perfection, but on the other hand you have a 50% of gettinga undercooked meal.

Cozy little gem in the middle of Onrus. Delicious food and ample amount of drinks. This pub is the perfect little retreat with very friendly staff and the family vibe can't be missed. I'd recommend to anyone in the area just to pop in and you will stay for the day or night.

Arrived after pub was closed, a few girls wanted to use the toilet - was told by some teenage gentleman (with some relation to the owner) and I qoute: “ You can show me your %#*£ and i will still not let you in” what a classy place NOT for ladies

You immediately feel at home in this local pub with it's sports pub vibe. The friendly, fun atmosphere makes you want to go back there again and again.

Cool little pub. We felt comfortable, loved the food and great prices.
