Went there for dinner on 31/12/21. We felt a bit underdressed, so we sat on the outside part of the restaurant. The food was great, just wish the portion size was bigger. And the service was good, considering how full the restaurant was in terms of how fast we were served and checked on. Well done!

A must visit, and forever memory! They deserve no less than a 5-star rating. The food is filled with flavour that literally burst in your mouth. My little family and I are always on the hunt to explore restaurants as we have a high appreciation for good food. This experience spoke to our souls. They will definitely see us again. To the pianist, with my husband being a musician himself, we truly enjoyed the soulful music, this was a highlight of our experience. It was an absolute pleasure enjoying a meal with my parents and nephew. The atmosphere is very enjoyable if you are looking for a relaxed yet sophisticated experience. Food is top notch and flavourful. The service is average, would have liked the waiter to come by every now and then as we had to indicate for assistance. We sat inside close to the fireplace on a very cold morning and it was exceptionally cozy.

A complete experience. Walking in, one can see that this place is set out to make our oceans a little bit safer for our fish. You can dispose of your fishing line as you enter. The food is ascetically pleasing as well as affordable and the cappuccino was made to perfection. This is definitely a new favorite outing. Be sure to roam around their gift shop. My husband and I got some nice sunglasses. Definitely something for him / her and even the kids.

An incredible first time experience! The chef and their team went out of their way to accommodate an allergy at the table. The food was superb, do try the mussel and mussel broth. The service was also on point. Although it was our waiter Shane's first night on the floor the service was attentive and hospitable. We wanted for nothing. A gem in Gansbaai, definitely visit if you are in the area.

Beautifully presented food. Friendly staff. I had the Trout Cake Starter and then Calamari with veggies and chips. Hubby had the Kelp & Mussel Broth and then for mains the fish and chips.

Professional and friendly staff, great vibe, food came timeously even though it was busy. Prices were reasonable and the food was scrumptious. SO happy their veggies like pumpkin didnt have sugar in it! Also very impressed that they offer vegan dishes as well! Would highly recommend.

Very delicious and fresh seafood, not too expensive either! Friendly service. The outside area could look a little nicer, but overall, a great place to eat.

Had lunch with friends while the restaurant was full, and still had very good service. The line fish was kabeljou served with fries and veg - a big piece fresh fish for only R145! Others had chicken fillets covered with cheese, guacamole and bacon, which was delicious. The whale skeleton hanging from the ceiling with dolphins alongside shows how huge they be are. A great place with outstanding value.

I wasnt really here for meals, i was here on a Marine Dynamics shark cage dive. But the Shark dive meeting room is upstairs in this restaurant, and they provided some food (breakfast and lunch soup). -All the food i ate was very good. -The restaurant looks very nice, kinda small, but maybe they use the upstairs room we used for seating when we are not there. -Nice whale bones across ceiling

Excellent service and just as amazing food, i could not have asked for more. We had brunch to celebrating my mother's birthday and were even surprised with a piece of cake, sparklers and all. Sending many compliments to our waiter Heinrich and Chef Tammy.

Honestly, it is my new favourite restaurant in the Gansbaai area. Fantastic food! Indoor and outdoor seating with a kid's play area. Not the best views,but the food makes up for it.

Beautiful , clean , unusual , and most importantly - the kitchen is delicious ! The oysters are gorgeous , big and sweet , ( we ate 22pcs for two ! ) , the owner of the restaurant and the waiters are very polite and attentive. We were served by Clifford, who quickly satisfied all our requests. Thanks him a lot ! Therefore, if you are in these parts, I definitely recommend visiting this place. I will back!

Everything was absolutely fantastic! The restaurant was pretty nice. We were impressed of the real whale skeleton hanged on the ceiling (14 m). We had a very good Shiraz wine and as meals, we tried Osterich with new potatoes, peas and pumpkin and Listfish 🐟 with kalamari, French friens 🍟 and pumpkin. As a dessert, Panna cotta was a very good choice 🤤 Alex was our server and he was kind and helpful. BTW, thank you again, Alex. I highly highly recommend! We choose it being a recommendation like "the best restaurant in the end of the world! 🌎" (and we agree 👍)

Very friendly staff. Loved the sustainability approach using locally sourced ingredients. Great wines from the area also available by the glass. We had line fish and calamari that was perfectly cooked. Highly recommended.

We chose this for old years supper. Everything was perfect, just my fish was a bit too dry, maybe a thinner portion or more sauce would have had me finish my food. Ambiance and live music was great Our waitress, Karen was a star 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

We came in for light meals, and were impressed by the quality of preparation and lovely plating. The carrot cake was a personal highlight; among the best I've ever tasted. Service was prompt and friendly. Definitely a place that I would like to visit again.

Turned up with no booking. Restaurant was booked out......but no problem seating upstairs. Great food, service and ambiance. I was quite surprised, did not know there are such a nice restaurant in Kleinbaai. Venue is very good. Good and friendly service. The food was well prepared and very tasty. I can definitely recommend them. Next time we will go for dinner.

Nice place to eat! The visuals of the Southern Right Whale above your head is awesome. Just a tad bit out of the way of you’re coming from Betty’s Baai / Kleinmonds’ side.

We were very impressed with the Great White House. Not only is it a sight to admire, but but the food is lovely. We had our dogs with us, and were welcomed with an out door spot for them to recuperate with a bowl of fresh water. What's more is, they have a breastfeeding area as well as a nappy changing area for mothers, which I appreciated on many occasions. We were eager to come visit as often as we could...

I visited Gansbaai last weekend and had lunch here. The waiter was great really professional, however the food was absolutely shocking. I asked if the tuna was fresh and i was assured it was however when i received the tuna salad it clearly was frozen tuna and in fact was brown black in color. My friend ordered a bacon burger and found two long brown hairs in between the patty and the bacon. We returned the food and offered to pay for it. I understand a restaurant can have a bad day I am in hospitality myself. The issue we have is that at no point did anyone from management approach to apologize. The waiter did his best to try sooth the situation. We left with no drama but i felt it needed to be addressed here. I hope this feedback will help them sort out the food quality control and the management response when something goes wrong.

Best restaurant in the Kleinbaai, Franskraal area. Beautifully decorated and delicious food. We enjoyed dinner so much we had breakfast at the same restaurant the following morning 😋 It also has a little gift shop and outside area to sit.
