A lovely authentic-feeling Italian restaurant in Hermanus. We had the lasagne for mains and it was absolutely delicious. The deserts were equally as good. The service was friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend this place. We look forward to going back!

Felt like I was a bit back in Napoli eating mama's food!! Great vibe and even better food!!!! Good wine selection and delicious deserts.

The food is Amazing ,pasta super nice , spaghetti ama Tricia a and carbonara are awesomes, the kids took small gnochis and where super nice , don’t forgett chocolate vulcano. 10 per cent tip is mandatory to be paid. The place seems like a real Italian trattoria

One of my favorite restaurants in Hermanus is Fabio's, and if you love Italian food this is a must try. Located in a narrow side street of the main road, the restaurant doesn't have a sea view, but makes up for it with it's decor and music which creates a sense of stepping into a restaurant in the heart of Italy. Their menu is vast with a definite highlight being their seafood pasta or any of their pizzas. They also have a selection of local as well as Italian wines and beers to choose from, however as we visited during Covid lockdown we weren't able to buy alcohol, but they had a variety of alcohol free beers available as well. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating, trying to give you the best possible experience. This wasn't my first time visiting and definitely wont be the last. Ciao!

Fabio's is a lovely Italian Restaurant. It felt like we stepped inside a place in the heart of Italy. Very friendly staff whose service was wonderful. So many appetizing things on the large menu to choose from. I finally decided to have the seafood pasta that was so flavorsome and delicious served with a good portion of seafood - prawns, calamari, shrimp and mussels in the shell in a lovely garlic creamy pomodoro sauce. The portion size was also way bigger than one would normally get. My hubbie had the biggest calzone pizza I think he has ever had. He too enjoyed his calzone which was not only full of ingredients but full of flavor. Would definitely recommend Fabio's if you love Italian food! They also have a very vast wine list to choose from.

A place to be in Hermanus; not far from the Windsor Hotel and after a long pleasure day a place where you can relax and have excellent food. A place where you can trust the people and that you will be served as every restaurant should serve his clients. Thank you very much for the good service and care. Really good restaurant in Hermanus! I’m gluten intolerant and luckily they had gluten free pastas and pizzas available. I had a pizza which was really nice. My boyfriend had the seafood pasta which he loved as well. Atmosphere and waitress were great as well. Highly recommend if you love Italian food like we do!

We are always looking for that authentic Italian feel of an old school taverna. We were not disappointed. The food was world class, our waitress Annie was amazing and took incredible care of us. Honestly, we loved everything, from the curated wine list, to the lovely food. In true Italian fashion, vegans and vegetarians are catered for without question. We loved it all!

Decor is abit dated, but lovely restaurant, the homemade pasta is fantastic, love the thin based pizza crust.

Really disappointing experience. Had high hopes for am authentic pizza after all the very good reviews. Our pizzas tasted like they had been pre cooked and then warmed up in a microwave. Tough and flavorless. Very disappointed customer.

The great Italian restaurant in town. Good pizza and the pastas are really good! The Cannelloni is a must! Good size portions, well priced, superb service from the staff.

We ordered the pasta salmone and canneloni Verde. Both okay. The canneloni could have had more flavour but with some Chili and garlic oil it was better. Friendly service. The music good have been a bit more modern.

Some of the best and tastiest al dente pasta I've ever had. Delicious pomodoro sauce with yummy prawns and clams and put together so well. Do yourself a favour, if you're in Hermanus, go and have a pasta from Fabio's 😁

I really enjoyed my time at Fabio's, they really have gone the extra mile to make the restaurant feel like one that is situated in Italy. The staff are super friendly. I had the spaghetti bolognese and it was really very good. Bonus is they offer gluten free options on all pastas and pizza bases. The only thing to keep in mind is that if they are busy then the wait times are going to be quite long. Definitely recommend this restaurant for those that want to try any Italian food.

Great Italian restaurant. As Europeans we’ve been to Italy quite a few times already. Fabio manages to inherit the hood tastes of Italy. The food was great, the service as well. Only disclaimer: while we didn’t eat pizza we saw it on other peoples tables - and the pizza didn’t look as good as expected considering the greatness of our meals. Anyway - go there!

Such a cute Italian Restaurant in the heart of Hermanus. Great food and lovely service. I love the way the baked pasta dishes such as the lasagna are served! This restaurant is quite expensive, however, so would recommend going for special occasions or family meals!

Consistently delicious food and fabulous service with personality. All in all, a great experience. And yes you can get cheaper in Hermanus, but remember that you get what you pay for!

We were very disappointed to arrive there after a long day's driving, although we did not have a reservation, friends who live in Hermanus told us we won't need one, and at 7pm on a Sunday for dinner we were told that the kitchen is closed for orders. There weren't even other alternate options recommended by them to us. We were really looking forward to try the food, as they came recommended to us by friends/locals. The restaurant was not even at full capacity with the regulations and most of the outside seating was open (and even seating inside). Feedback on the owner's response: Dear Fabio, I appreciate your response, but I am sorry, it was not loadshedding at that time, loadshedding only started there at 8pm. If your restaurant is under pressure and the kitchen cannot deliver food to a half full restaurant, maybe you should re-evaluate your seating capacity. I would also suggest that we could have been informed in a more polite manner than what we were told: "the kitchen is closed and we're not serving anyone else", which came across quite rude and without any other restaurants as recommendations, if one cannot assist patrons at your restaurant. I do appreciate your feedback, but I do not appreciate that you say ""pls feel free to email me anytime directly rather that using social media as a medium , I’m a good person & love my business Ciao Fabio" I am a reviewer, and Google Reviews is a platform used for this. If I wanted to, I could have run to all other social media platforms, which I did not do. If you don't want your restaurant being reviewed, you can have Google Reviews remove your business from the platform. My review was to inform people of MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, and the means that you are providing in trying to set it right yet from your type of response it is clear that you are not taking ownership/responsibility, this is what patrons need to be made aware of. Really lovely place and great food. I love the idea of serving pasta in a pan. My only concern was the other customer burping excessively loud. But a lovely place and around the corner from an ocean viewpoint.
