This is the third time my colleague and I got bad takeaways. Fish was smushy and slimy and had a ammonia-like smell to it. The colour of the fish didn't look right. The lady had an attitude when i phoned to ask if i could bring it back. She wanted to give me something different I told her i wasn't interested as i lost my appetite. The tartar sauce was nice..

Went for lunch. Meal was freshly prepared, steaming hot. Fish batter crisp and chips lekker slap with salt n vinegar. Hake and snoek both well cooked. Seating area nice n clean. Meals reasonably priced.

Fast & friendly service. Great portions for the price. Amazing quality and tasty food. We will definitely see them again. We never really drove through Hermanus and your service has changed our route! Thank you

This is the worse fish I ever tasted . Looks and tasted rotten. Had to send the counter lady back with fish that looked like someone puked on it when I cut into the fish. Firstly the fish arrived cold and then asked them for a fresh warm piece and they returned with it having been microwaved. Presentation of the food terrible. Small piece of fish with loads of disgusting batter.

Bought 2 portions of hake. Fish was not fresh and tasteless, also the most horrible dough I've ever tasted. We just could not eat it, waste of money.

Situated in the new Hermanus harbour it is ideally positioned to give a beautiful view of the ocean with Hermanus in the background. Found the prices to be a little on the high side. Not everybody's cup of tea. Strict covid protocol is observed.

Delicious Fish and chips! The owner was very nice and helpful. 100% recomendable!

Best local fresh seafood take away shop!! A must go if you are in the area!! Owner is a wonderful lady with a lot of good stories and a great guide for place to go see and visit!!

Very disappointed and saddened. My husband and I purchased a verity of fishing items at this establishment including a fishing pole for around R490.00. The first cast with my new fishing pole was a disaster, the pole broke and my husband had to try and reel the pieces in. I visited the store the next morning and was met with utter hostility. The owner took the pole into the back, when he returned there was a red substance on the portion that was broken and he accused me of breaking it on purpose! Very unprofessional and a disgusting way to treat customers. I am out my hard urned cash and have no fishing pole. When trying to reason with the owner he threw my husband and I out! Customers beware. A waste of money.

Was so excited to try the chips and samosas they are selling. When you walk past it smells lovely! Different story when you walk in to the ordering area, where you get met by very unfriendly staff members that can’t seem to bothered to help you what so ever. Staff seems very sour. Chips were ok. Won’t return

Only one star because zero isn't options I bought calamari and fish it was so disgusting like the test of old oil This is the worse calamari and fish I ever tasted I'm staying in hermanus and could not return to the shop

Absolutely disgusting taste. That's all. Just a pity it's on the main road and will probably get a lot of overseas visitors. Really have to up their standards. Rather paying the extra few rands next time and go to Walker bay fish&chips. Highest quality.
