    Once again a very dissappointing experience from mcdonalds hermanus. They never have the chilli cheese fries. Chips are stale and only half full boxes. I've had numerous bad experiences. From incorrect orders, no jalapenos on a chilli cheese burgers and never having chilli cheese fries. Will not support them again.

    No stock of Quarter Pound patties, cold drinks - only coke/stoney zero available, 2 cup holders. Waited more than 7 minutes at the collection window for our food, chips was ice cold. Chips packs were only filled 3/4, photo available. The cheese on our burgers were a horrible saucy mess, not sliced cheese. Burger boxes were random, not matching our orders. Why open your outlet if you clearly do not have stock available of critical items.

    I understand that the restaurant is busy on 24 December, but the staff were super unorganized and were running around not knowing how to handle all the orders. The card machine was off for a long time and only one cashier caused long queues and impatient, angry customers. I would definitief not recommend this branch!!

    Ordered a big mac and chicken burger.. why is there only a patty and sauce on both of them??? I payed for burgers. These aren't even worth half.

    Good place in the little town specially when you don’t find so much options. Also very convenient location within the mall’s parking. On weekend it’s mostly busy still their service is quite good in the drive thru to take minimal time. I really found this place helpful with kids when they suddenly ask something to eat quickly and on the go at odd times. Not a big fan of such junk food but sometime it’s ok while on holiday and at least we know what we going to get as they are mostly same at all locations.

    The manager is non-existent at this Mcdonald's, and they are very understaffed. Been to this Mcdonalds a few weeks ago and when the manager was called, he never showed. Same happened today. If you want to wait 40 minutes - 1 hour for your food, then this is the place to be. The amount of bad reviews recently should be a wake-up call.

    I waited for 30 minutes in parking lot as the drive thru was closed (from 06h50 -07h23 am), a delivery truck was parked outside, and employee was setting up the chairs outside, after 30 minutes i jump out of car to go into store to purchase, but door was locked, an employee told me they are waiting for the truck to offload the stock because all their stock in store is finished, yet the delivery truck has been parked outside McDonald's longer than I have been, and it'still has not offloaded anything. I go to McDonald's every single morning, their service is just deteriorating.

    On the wedsite they open at 7oclock but i was waiting till past 7oclock because only at 7 oclock they are taking the tables out and then u must still wait for them to call you when they ready but the place must be open and serve you at 7oclock

    I know the person who takes your order at the drive-through has to multi-task (processing payment for car ahead of you and taking your order) but really, the tone and attitude needs some work. Make me feel welcome, I don't expect long conversations, but make me feel like you're really happy for another customer supporting the establishment you work at. Please, just change your tone. Thank you

    Drive thru did not work. It was not marked that it was out of order. Intercom told everyone to drive around. Even inside it felt like it took forever. A few of the customers became annoyed at the lack of communication from staff. The automated machine also didnt accept payments inside, so had to pay at the till.

    Took almost 15min to get my food, chips were cold, staff disorganized, just a general mess. I understand that people sometimes have off days, but I suspect everyone working in that restaurant that day had an off day together.

    The service at McDonald's Hermanus gets worse by the day. I've never been at a drive thru that makes you wait over an hour. Can't blame Loadsheding either as this happens before, during, and after loadsheding. Fairly disappointing, I'm a regular customer, and it's sad that the bad service has become a regular thing.

    Staff are on the ball when its quiet but really slow down under the pressure of too many clients. They completely forgot about my order until I had to physically enquire about it. Maybe some better processes should be put in place to streamline how orders are delivered for high volume times?

    Workers were busy with themselves. They were not focused on customers. Dear Owner, please train your workers to save your business. You don't wanna lose your multi million rand business because of some unprofessional workers. If you read the reviews, 90% of bad reviews are given because of bad services. No one is complaining about your food.

    We orderd 3 meals, which included a tripple quarter pounder and a 20 piece nuggets. We received a quarter pounder with 16 nuggets and the rest of the order was correct. I do not have a problem for paying for something I like/love but I'm only a teacher and can say that I was not satisfied with what we received tonight!

    I confess! We have never been to McDonald's before and never to a drive thru. But we we on the road, it was early and we were hungry and needed coffee. What a pleasure to order and literally get your order minutes later. We ordered egg mcmuffins (I think) and coffee. They were delicious, good coffee. I'll be back

    Since Covid we use the drive through and eat our order by the sea. We ordered breakfast McMuffins with coffee. 4 sugars and 2 sweetners - listed as such on the till slip. When they handed the order to us through the window we confirmed with the person - 4 sugars and 2 sweetners. It was a young guy - and he confirmed. Got to our regular eating place. Had the McMuffin and hash brown. When we wanted to have our coffee - only to discover no sweetners and 2 sugar. By the time we got back to MacDonalds the coffee was cold. However, I must say they gave us new coffees with the requested sweetners and sugar. Next time I will open the parcel to check the sugar and sweetner. My advice - check the order before you leave. I apologise in advance to the car which will have wait behind me. You might be thinking I am complaining about something trivial; but filter coffee is very bitter. And this is not the first time at this MacDonalds; and after almost 2 months of no stock of sweetner

    The worst experience and the most annoying!!!! 4 X over the past weeks order incorrect everytime!!! U place the order and it's correct on the screen but then the lady starts asking questions and u have NO IDEA what she is saying, is the order not on a screen for her to see????????? they speak sooooooo badly it just sounds like baby talk, going to go inside to place my order from now on!!!!

    The drive thru this time was quite slow. I fetched food at another drive thru beforehand and then came to McDonald's. By the time we got our McDonald's order, my drink from the previous drive thru was finished and my food was no longer hot.

    We requested that they clean the table. The cloth that he used was so dirty and tacky he had a hard time juggling the food around on the table that came out of the cloth.. There were no sanitizer in the container. I had to use my own wet wipes to clean the table. While I was doing this the guy who tried to clean the table was sitting at the next table watching while eating his food. He saw me doing this but did not offer to get a clean cloth. When I ask if he can get sanitizer he said no.

    A very nice place with friendly and efficient staff,we accidentally dropped one of our takeout bags , spilling some of our fries and the attends cleaned our table and replaced the fries as well.The kids had a fun time and a delicious meal within half an hour of arrival and all 9 meals were devoured because it was expertly prepared .Thank you for the very nice afternoon I had you guys ,it's always a pleasure to visit your store and I would recommend anyone who is looking for a nice place to eat at ,yo visit McDonalds at the whale coast mall .

    Visited the drive thru on Tuesday before Christmas, admittedly a very busy time of the year, which the store should have accounted for too. They had run out of all soft drinks, waters and coffees. No notice or staff member informing customers at the drive thru which should have happened, and when we were offered milkshakes as the only drink, there was no discount offered. While the food was standard fare and up to scratch, after queuing for over 36 minutes for fast food and then not getting any drink, it left a very bitter taste and felt like management did not care - just wanted to retain any business they could scrape from unsuspecting holidaymakers.

    Well where shall i begin. I have been to many many outlets of McDonalds. But this one in Hermanus is sorry to say the worst. On a monday you cannot get a boerie hashbrown meal. You cannot get an orange juice ,many a times they give the incorrect items or dont give you what you paid for.I feel they can really buckle up with better service to customers. I feel they dont care about what they are doing. I gave decided not to support them anymore. Sorry but lets face it one mistake you can let go but constant mistakes. Nope.

    This is the WORST McDonald's in the entire country - of that I'm sure. The "drive through" is a joke. I have lost count of how many times I've been there, and no one takes your order, so you have to go inside. Almost everything is out of stock. And this at 17:00 on a weekday. When you complain about your drive through experience to the manager, he has a very bad condescending attitude, rather than just apologizing and taking the issue up with the staff member involved (said staff member who clearly does not understand that me being white does not mean I only understand and speak Afrikaans and English).
