Very nice! The restaurant is a bit more on the pricey side since it is fine dining - but you can still do a decent wine tasting with an amazing platter. Beautiful vineyard views. I loved all their white wines!

We had an incredible experience at this georgous boutique wine estate. We were a tour group of 11px and had a wine tasting and lunch. The service was outstanding, the wines incredible and the food was superb. I will definitely be back with another tour group and recommend this estate for cosy romantic lunches with a partner or family celebration as well as a stop over to delight tourists. Beautiful and tranquil surroundings and world class service and food and wine pairings.

Great experience. Incredible wine, delicious menu and awesome staff. Had the Sprinkbok loin and the fondant. Both were divine! We’ll be back to buy some more wine and try the other dishes

We had such a lovely wine tasting. The atmosphere is inviting, the staff friendly and the view is stunning. Their white wines are fantastic. I loved the variety and flexibility of the tasting options and menus.

We had the Healthy Heritage Food & Wine paring. The food was fantasties, well presented and taste. The venue is stunning and our waiter, Simba, really went out of his way to explain the dishes and wine. Thank you for an extraordinary experience! This is a MUST if you visit the area

Amazing experience with the pairing menu. Outstanding dishes were the Trout and Springbok but quite honestly all pairings were marvellous.

Visited here in Dec 2020 for my wife's birthday - have been meaning to write a review ever since. The views from the outside dining and the valley in general are amongst the best in SA. We were very well looked after by a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic sommelier (sorry can't recall her name). She also made sure we had some lovely veggie options prepared by the chef. The location definitely adds to the overall experience. Wines are great - we even ordered some upon our return to Scotland - see if you can guess which photo is Scotland lol. Aiming for another trip back to SA in 2023 - will defo be back to Creation again.

I loved everything about this place. The food, service and the whole wine and food pairing experience. The ambiance is also amazing. Our host Tinashe was amazing too. I absolutely loved all the wines we had. Thank you Caroline, Jack, Tinashe, Joy and the rest of the team for making our experience memorable.

It is possible to order a tasting of 7 wines with small portions of dishes. It is designed for one person (670R). It is really the perfect pairing of appetizers and wines. We ordered one tasting to share for two, plus a plate of cheeses (350R). Personally, I did not like the wine, no offense, but the appetizers and serving are incredibly beautiful.

We tried the Creation experience with multiple meals and wine to taste and it was really great ! Service was perfect, food and pairings were perfect, the only thing would be that it was too long… 3 hours to experience a lunch is kinda too much when you have to hit the road while on vacation :-/ if you are staying in this area for a few days, that can be a great opportunity but if you have a lot of road to make after, maybe order something else than the experience :-)

We came back for the 2nd year in a row, to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary, year 1 was honeymoon. We had the best experience, especially the food and wine pairing. Out waiter Tinashe went above and beyond to make our experience unique and memorable. See you next year.

I haven’t visited Creation in a number of years, and decided I had to make it our first stop, for lunch on our 2 night stay in Hermanus. We called to make a reservation en route from Stellenbosch but got cut off twice due to our poor reception on the road. They went ahead and made our reservation none the less with limited information, and made our reservation under “couldn’t get a name” which we thought was quite amusing. They set up a lovely little table under the trees, amongst the Fynbos and accommodated us for their famous food and wine pairing. It was EXCEPTIONAL. Victor looked after us and his wine knowledge was fantastic, and his hospitality outstanding! Can’t wait for our next visit!

Myself and my group had an exceptional lunch at Creation. We were lucky to see full pregnant grapes hanging off the vines, ready for harvest. The plant based wine paring menu is out of this world. Phillip was an amazing ambassador who confidently led us through the estates wines and the beautifully presented dishes. Carolyn Martin is a gracious host who kindly shared her deep knowledge and passion of innovating with wine. An amazing host. Highly recommended.

The owner, Carolyn, could not have been more hospitable. The setting was absolutely gorgeous and we had an amazing multi-course wine and food pairing. The host at our table and the chef were also wonderful. It was a beautiful afternoon!

Wow, absolutely stunned at the amazing experience Creation offers. The out of this world wines are accompanied by stellar service. The flavours of the food pairings with the wines are a match made in heaven and both Jeane and her trainee went out of their way to make this the best cellar door experience I've had in South Africa.

Was an amazing experience to visit what is known as 1 of the best wine estates in the world, also no1 in Africa. Tasted and bought some amazing wines too. This vineyard and the hemel en arde valley needs to be a must visit within Cape Town.

We booked for the wine pairing experience. Expecting the usual 5 wines with a piece of food to accompany it. We had however, booked for a discovery menu that had wine paired with it. After the initial adjustment we settled in for the experience. Although the set price for the entire menu is available one can also choose ‘chapters’ within the menu and pay for them individually. This was a nice touch and is appreciated. The interior of the restaurant is amazing but what made this a memorable experience was the service. Although there were many waiters the area was not crowded. We had two waiters Artwell and Therodora (unsure about spelling) who assisted us. Items that were used were quietly and quickly removed from the table. Information about the food was short and concise. The differentiating factor was the manner in which waiters engaged with each other. If they needed an item someone else was using they stood and waited for it till it became available. They did not compete for or argue over anything and the energy of the space was a good one.

We were greeted by a serene view of the vineyard with a relaxed atmosphere even though the restaurant got quite full. The option to taste various individual wines of your choice allows for flexibility and variety. The food was great and the flavours were plentiful.

We went for breakfast. Interesting to pair breakfast with wine. It was a pleasant and enjoyable experience. It was the fluffiest omelette ever! The views were beautiful and the service very good. Also thank you for making our 20th wedding anniversary special. We really appreciate the extra effort! The amount of effort that goes into everything. The wine perfume on the menu, the garden around you. Nothing is left untouched. It will be a fix visit when we visit South Africa.

Probably the best location and views in the Hemel & Aarde valley. However, the main portions are equivalent to a very small starter elsewhere - popcorn as a snack was also not expected. Recommendation: Serve a starch with all mains to compliment the otherwise great food.

The 7 course food and wine pairing was insanely awesome. If it's super busy it may be a bit slower, but all the better to take in the beautiful scenery and delicious food and wine. My partner had the non-alcoholic option of tea and food pairing which was surprisingly well thought out and beautifully paired. Artwell, Theo and Nick's glowing personalities and caring service all helped make our experience even more special!

We had the Heritage Lunch paired lunch menu. Very enjoyable and good service. The wine is spectacular
