Well maintained hike. Short walk lots of people around at 6:30 in the evening. Would love to spend a day out here.

Really love this space. Very accessible trails, well marked and easy to find your way around. Plenty of birdlife, the occasional snake spotting (1 young puff adder and a couple of small unidentified snakes on the path and 1 unidentified swimming next to me in the reservoir) and sometimes a troop of baboons, and I'm sure you could find other interesting creatures under rocks. Mostly kept pretty clean, but some people do leave litter unfortunately.

Absolutely stunning experience! A few route options to get there. Very relaxed flat path until the last bit. Lots of spots at the dam where the whole family can enjoy. Very refreshing swim, with great views.

What an awesome trail. Walk up to fist dam is not a challenge at all and recommend for everyone to do. 2nd Dam and 3rd Dam is a big more challenging but still a beautiful to do. Nature at its best.

itΒ΄s a nice hiking trail, easy, beautiful views and the best: to swim in the dam in the end of it.

Spectacular hiking trail. Not for the faint hearted though. Won't work with small children as it is more of a climb than a hike. There is no definite hiking trail/path. Some places very steep. It is breathtakingly beautiful and definitely worth it. Take your swimming gear, you can swim. The last dam has waterfalls!

Beautiful walk in the Fernkloof Nature reserve. Easy to moderate walk to the first of the 3 dams ... but you need extra stamina and a head for heights (& steep drops to the side of the path), but the more you climb, the better it gets

Perfect hiking trail for someone who wants to be in nature but don’t want to strain themselves. Be careful when going on windy days as you are hiking in a kloof and the wind tends to be stronger.

Very nice trail which is well kept. October nights you can see fireflys after dark.
