What a brilliant experience we had!!! Saturdays are for the Hermanuspietersfontein market, they have great local vendors of cheese, cold meats, olives, fresh seafood like Perlemoen and alikruk and a lot of great snacks. The best thing, Saturdays are free when doing wine tasting. Their wines are all delicious and have intriguing names. Friendliest staff and most knowledgeable too. Had too much wine, but an absolutely great day.

Really good wines. Especially the Reds. Friendly service in a modern setting. Go here for wine tasting you won't be disappointed!

Customer service terrible, manager rude and unapproachable. Compared to the wine farms in the area, they have a lot to learn about how to create a wine tasting experience.

We enjoyed a tasting here paired with some delicious macaroons. There is a small play area for kids which was great. The wines are very enjoyable.

Title: A Vile and Disappointing Experience at Hermanuspietersfontein Wine Farm Review: My recent visit to Hermanuspietersfontein Wine Farm was an utterly disappointing and deplorable experience. From the moment we arrived, it became evident that this so-called establishment had no regard for basic customer service or respect towards its patrons. To begin with, I was taken aback by the sight of a man with golden earrings who seemed to be a staff member. His aggressive and vile attitude towards my family was nothing short of appalling. Instead of welcoming us with warmth and hospitality, he treated us with disdain and contempt. His unwarranted hostility created an atmosphere of fear and discomfort, completely tarnishing what should have been a pleasant visit. To exacerbate matters, the entire staff seemed to be infected with the same attitude of indifference. Despite arriving during their business hours, we found ourselves waiting for an unreasonably long time to be served. The lack of willingness from the staff to attend to our needs was both disrespectful and unprofessional. It was as if they were doing us a favor by allowing us to spend our hard-earned money at their establishment. Hermanuspietersfontein Wine Farm has failed miserably in providing even the most basic level of customer service. Their staff's repugnant behavior and complete disregard for customer satisfaction reflects a deeply rooted problem within the establishment. Such an attitude is not only detrimental to their business but also disrespectful to the visitors who choose to support them. As a paying customer, I expect to be treated with respect, courtesy, and professionalism. Sadly, Hermanuspietersfontein Wine Farm failed to deliver on any of these fronts. It is disheartening to see a place that should celebrate the beauty of wine and the joy of hospitality marred by such vile behavior. I strongly advise anyone considering a visit to Hermanuspietersfontein Wine Farm to think twice. There are numerous other wine farms in the area that genuinely value their customers and strive to provide a positive experience. Don't subject yourself to the disappointment and disrespect that we endured. Choose an establishment that appreciates your patronage and treats you with the dignity and courtesy that you deserve. Hermanuspietersfontein Wine Farm, you have lost a customer and left a lasting negative impression. It is my hope that this review serves as a wake-up call for you to address the rot within your establishment, rectify your treatment of customers, and reevaluate your commitment to providing a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all who visit.

A nice selection of wines which you can taste for only R10 each! Per glass is really inexpensive too. You could sit there all afternoon near the fireplace watching the rain come down through their big glass windows. Very cosy.

The male staff member with golden earrings has utterly destroyed my hopes for Hermanuspietersfontein.A rot in the establishment. Not willing to serve myself and my family during business hours, extremely rude. There are a lot of other friendly wine farms in the area, have respect for your hard earned money, and skip this one.17 October 2023

Its an amazing wine tasting , but mainly because of the great wines, the tasting room isn't in a beautiful estate (the farm is some way away) but the staff (nadine was our sommelier) were engaging, funny and helpful and we felt like we were in any great wine estates tasting venue. HPF wines have long been one of my favourite especially "Die Kat met die hout been" , "Kaalvoet meisie" and "Kleinboet" , 3 exceptionally easy "relatively" affordable wines. I'll be back

Nice place, fair wine but service was not great. Didn’t get to know any of the wines other than the booklet I was offered when we walked in. Creative and fun to an extent, but would have loved for someone to give me some more information about the wine.

Easily one of the best wine destinations to visit while in the Western Cape. Excellent wines, a great wine tasting venue, friendly and very knowledgeable staff and (did I mention) excellent wines. A quick summary: Kaalvoet Meisie has always been one of my favourite whites, with Kat-met-die-houtbeen close on it's heels. I've recently been introduced to Kleinboet (a full-bodied, yet gentle Bordeaux blend). After tasting their full range on offer, I can truly say that every wine has it's place. I will still enjoy Kaalvoet Meisie on a hot Summer's day when I light the braai and I will still enjoy Kleinboet with a fatty braaied lamb chop, but I can see myself stealing a sip of Bloos as I pour it for my wife and my mom. I can also imagine sitting around on a Winter evening with a bottle (or two) of Posmeester and then slowly sipping on a Swartskaap with a nice mutton potjie. I can definitely also see myself having a couple of bottles of Skoonma while watching Lukhanyo Am making a joke of the All Black defense. You can taste the passion, love and effort put into every bottle of their delicious wines. I will be back. As often as I can!
