Went here with the city sightseeing Franschhoek wine tram tour. Service was great and we had an amazing experience. The charcuterie board was rich and so worth the price, and even though it was a cold rainy day, we enjoyed everything. The wine portion was generous 😊 with the snacks. Loved it!

Most beautiful view in Franschhoek valley with extremely good prices for wine tasting. Great tasting programme you get plenty of time to enjoy your samples and admire the view. One of the best bargains in the valley to visit!

The Dieu Donné Vineyards Cellar & Tasting Room is a spot that is best described with superlatives. It's definitely one of the best locations for a wine tasting experience. Situated at the very top of Franschhoek, just a little lower than the tree line in the mountains right behind it, it has endless views of the valley below. On a clear day, they extend just as far as the eye can see. This remoteness is part of its appeal. It keeps big crowds away. Sitting on the terrace and sipping a glass of wine will be an experience that I will remember for a long time to come.

Amazing location a little off the beaten track but still close to the Center. The wine tasting was great, the view was even better. Prices reasonable! We also ordered a big pizza to share from the place next to it and could enjoy it at the same venue. So cool! Staff was nice as well :)

We tried two different wine tasting options. The wine wasn't particularly to our taste unfortunately. The service was okay. We also ordered a charcuterie board which was nice. I wouldn't go back but the view is truly lovely. The wine and chocolate paring was the better of the two options we tasted.

Well worth a visit. Most beautiful views from above the valley with a pleasant breeze on a hot summer day. The sharing platter was generous and the wines delicious. Xavier was a perfect host. Attentive yet relaxed and just enough detail on the wines.

I had the privilege to photograph a Wedding Celebration in April 2022 at Dieu Donné and was blown away by the beauty of this venue and the landscapes surrounding the restaurant. This is the perfect option for a more intimate / smaller scale wedding providing you with a cosy indoor set-up and a fire place for winter celebrations. Although there is no onsite accommodation, a vast array of gorgeous options are available in close proximity to the venue. The staff were friendly, helpful and went the extra mile to make the celebration special. This venue also provides the perfect backdrop for the mountain loving couple! I can highly recommend this to anyone considering to host their wedding in Franschhoek.

One of the best views is at Dieu Donné, the service was great also had free wine on arrival! Overall one of the best will definitely come back again !

Tried a tasting menu here. We had a thorough explanation of each wine which were all very drinkable. The views were also breathtaking Some of our group also bought cases of the wines we tried. Delivery costs were very reasonable

Gorgeous views from the tasting terrace and the wine tasting itself was tasty, well explained and very generous of portion! Our server was friendly and very engaging. This was easily our favourite stop on the wine tram. If we had been in Franschhoek longer, we would definitely have gone back here for lunch/drinks.

Wine and chocolate pairing was delicious. They also have a a good MCC at a very reasonable price. Views and ambiance are fantastic, perfect for a special occasion.

This is a hidden gem. Boutique wine estate with exceptional wines and customer service. Marcheline the upcoming sommelier was insanely knowledgeable about the wines and had a great personality. The setting is beautiful with view of Franschoek like no other. Will definitely be back.

The most beautiful view we saw all day on the wine tram, hands down! We didn't eat at the restaurant, but it looked amazing, all the tables had full mountain views. Definitely a hidden gem.

This has to be the wine farm with the most spectacular views in Franschhoek. Tasted their white wines out in the gardens whilst soaking up the sun and the scenery. Magic spot.

Botanical tasting with chocolate pairing was lovely - great balance of different wines. Stunning setting!!! And our host was wonderful.

Stunning views from Dieu Donne Vineyards. I don't drink alcohol but drinking in these views make me heady and super happy. My wine loving group enjoyed the wine tasting and bought lots of wine. The restaurant was closed for renovation.

My partner and I were recommended this restaurant whilst on holiday here in SA and WOW! What an experience. Beautiful food. Big portion sizes. The most stunning views. Waiters and waitresses paid attention to detail in every aspect and we felt so well looked after. The little touches make all the difference. Thank you to everyone, we absolutely loved it here!
