What a charming place to spend the afternoon. Upon arrival, the staff was welcoming and friendly. Our server was well-trained, and she freely shared tales and her knowledge of our wine selection. The cheese platter was delicious, and so were our mains. This was indeed an afternoon well-spent, and we certainly recommend a visit.

What a lovely venue! We sat at a table under the trees and looked out over a grassy area where kids can run around and play. There was also a jungle gym. Everybody at the table loved the food and everything really was delicious. The bathrooms were clean and neat and the staff (even the security staff) were very helpful and friendly.

I spent a memorable afternoon with my best friend at Nederberg. We sat next to the fire and got taken care of the whole afternoon. Murdo treated us like royalty. The Ravioli was truly memorable, as for the port wine and Amarula cheese cake(that was heavenly.. what an experience! Thank you Nederberg, my friend and I had an unforgettable experience. I can't thank you enough..

They don't advertise this on Google or the Website but they have THE best children play area. Top class!!! Even has a zipline. The food is amazing and the waitresses are so clued up on the history. 5 out of 5! Best place to be!

We really enjoyed the wine tasting experience. The food was nice, the wine was better and the waiter, Reagan, was the best! He ensured we weren't bored, although the music in the tastin room was trying to put us to sleep. The Ingenuity wine is really the best, so we had to buy a few. We would have loved to sit outside, as its really beautiful but it was just a bit too hot so we needed the air conditioning in the wine tasting room ๐Ÿคญ Will definitely be going back!

Nederburg was five-star today! We had the warmest reception from Carmen and Mundo served us so well. Murdo was attentive to our needs and even had time for our very busy boy, taking him around to see the kitchen. We haven't had such a wonderful, relaxing afternoon in a very long time. Thank you to the chef as well for the food from heaven. One of my best meals ever! The beautiful farm, views in every direction, the great lawn and the fantastic, huge play area for the kids, just added to this great experience.

What a pleasant visit we had at Nederburg Wines. It was a cold and rainy day, but we were welcomed by warm smiles. To our surprise, without any prior booking, we were lead to a seat right in front of a fireplace. We enjoyed a complimentary glass of bubbles while we waited for the rest of our guests to arrive. For the wine tasting I had mostly red wines and a dessert wine. There were two wines that REALLY stood out for me: the Brew Master from the Heritage Heros range, and the Nobel Late Harvest. I just had to get myself a bottle of each! Bringing our visit to an end, each of us had a slice of carrot cake (and another glass of the Nobel Late Harvest...) This was certainly and outing to remember. Thank you Nederburg, I will be seeing you again very soon!

Nederburg was AMAZING! Words cannot explain our experience. We are South Africans and we never had a experience like this ever before. Who knew you can pair Coffee, Wine and food together! THANK YOU it was absolutely worth it! Get yourself some wine coolers and fill them up with their incredible wines!

Went for a wine tasting followed by a lovely picnic. The food, wine and surroundings where a treat for the senses...well worth the price. I was never a fan of the old Red Table Restaurant, but this new design and theme is a great improvement.

We have visited many a wine farms here in the Cape, but this has been by far the best wine farm we have been too. The atmosphere is fantastic and it's kids friendly, they have an awesome play area for the kids that left the adults to enjoy a lovely afternoon.

Really great day out at Nederburg. Make sure you book for the wine tasting as it gets quite full. The wines on offer are exceptional and you can also buy there and have your tasting fee waivered. The setting under the oak trees is a perfect setting for Cape Wine Tastings. Really good day out If you have young kids (or any kids for that matter) let them try the flavoured milk & cookie paring as well!

Being an old wine farm and now part of Distell I am surprised with the quality of their wines which were usually very much a rather common brand name with a not much to rave about.

Extremely friendly staff, from the security guard to the restaurant staff and everyone we encountered in between. Beautiful grounds. Wide range of wines, everyone will definitely find one to suite their taste.

The poor staff were overwhelmed and we couldn't get served for 15 minutes. We just decided to leave. But the Slow market was great. Lots of stalls!

Awesome experience! We loved it to bits! Reagan!!!!!? A five star to you! You such a sweetheart! That up and down workout to keep checking us if we were still fine by the tree was absolutely worth it. Your personality deserves a five start on its own. Thanks for all the recommendations, definitely will give my girlfriend the best of Paarl. Thanks mate!

(Translated by Google) We were there for a picnic. Large lawn with tables under the shade of the trees. Picnic food was nicely packaged and off the top shelves. Carmen was our waitress and she was very friendly and helpful. The other staff too. Can really recommend Nederburg. The old Cape Dutch house is so beautiful and the large veranda in front with tables and chairs invites you to sit there and eat. We will definitely go there again! (Original) Ons was daar vir 'n piekniek.

Good food. Wide open spaces. Very well equipped playground for small children. And just to be part of Nederburg's more than 200 years of history even it is just for a few hours, is food for the soul.

Nederburg now has a kids party venue! Nicely kitted out with kids seating area and a separate seating area for the adults. The venue can also accommodate a jumping castle. Kids can look forward to popcorn and candy floss machines operated by the staff as well as cupcake decorating on request. Thereโ€™s also plenty things to keep the kids busy with - books, games, play dough and more! If they STILL manage to get bored the kids can head over to the outdoor play area at the Manor Restaurant which has Jenga, a range of lawn games, jungle gyms, a zip-line, tree house and swings!

The greatest service ever. Please ask to be serviced by Ruwaida, what an excellent sommelier/ waitress. The entire stuff is just a breath of fresh air, always smiling and very friendly. Had the best wine estate experience ever, and trust me I've been to many. The wines are excellent, food is spectacular, property is beautiful and well kept, plus there is kiddies play area to keep the little ones occupied whilst the adults sip on some bevs.

We had an amazing experience. Mom and daughter outing. Nara is two and had her most fun time here. Thank you to Carmen that really know her wine and pairing even though they don't offer it YET. Would definitely recommend this experience to anyone especially parents of busy kids. Wine is top class and definitely a winner from all the wines I've tasted in the last 2 weeks.

Beautiful place, always a lovely experience. If you'd like to enjoy the picnic option on the lawn under the shady trees make sure to book picnic baskets ahead. If you are in a rush perhaps you might not enjoy this spot as much.. when we go it's for several hours.. The vibe here is laid back but in a really lovely way! You are meant to relax, sit under the shady oaks, enjoy the wine, the view and good company. We ordered the manor house platter, which for R300 would have been nice if there was some fresh fruit/nuts sprinkled throughout perhaps in addition but we enjoyed nonetheless & it was in fact more than enough for 2 people! Platter came quickly albeit fries came nearly 20 mins after platter was served. And although we had to call a waitor over to bring menu's once seated, when we did flag one down he was wonderful & very knowledgable on the wines! The tastings are generous and of course the wines are all delectable, many of them stored in French, American & Romanian oak barrels. Before we were about to leave a large table of VIPs arrived and were hosted by one of the winemakers of the estate, we stuck around a little to hear what he had to say on the wines as well since we enjoy that kind of thing. All in all for an afternoon of relaxation it's well worth it.

What a lovely Nederburg experience, tranquility, is key at this farmers market. Amazing cusuines arts and crafts by the local business and restaurants. Love the slow and easy laid back atmosphere of this cool market. Lots of fun things for the kidz to enjoy as well. Really enjoyed it so much๐Ÿ‘Œโค๏ธ Thank you Nederburg Slow market โค๏ธ

Nerderburg Manor House is a place to be with awesome array of wine options to taste. The taste and rich history speaks for the brand. Thanks to the BrandCrafters and the team behind this famous brand. The restaurant got nice and well prepared meals and hospitality here is second to none. The product knowledge of the team will leave you amazed and there is a story with every product on offer. My favourite is the "Noble Late Harvest" red or white. The taste is kind blowing and you will thank me later.

Red Table is one of our favourite restaurants, but they really disappointed today. Extremely slow service..... Starters were bland and disappointing. Then the main dish the steak were over cooked - like charcoal and not tasty at all. We will not visit soon. Really sad about this expensive failure.

2020/11/14 UPDATE: Went to this place for a 2nd visit and the service was amazing. Im really impressed. Would definitely go back again. Sometime early October: Food = 5 stars. Wine = 5 Stars. Service = -10 000 stars. Our waiter was honestly the worst. She took so long to come to our table. She took almost 30 minutes to get us glasses. A table that arrived after we arrived received their drinks waaaay before we did. Our wine tasting took so long. Really disappointed. Especially since we drove past so many wine estates to this particular one. The food was quick and great but honestly my waiter was the worst. She didn't check on us regularly. I had to walk inside to get most things I needed. I honestly would have ordered some wine for delivery but our waiter never came to our table. Eventually we just went to the front, paid the bill and left. Really disappointing... Really.

I really enjoyed visiting this winery. From itโ€™s rich history to its mind blowing wine cellars and even the wine itโ€™s self, the experience was beautiful. And of course they had a lot of good wine offerings, but my fav was the โ€˜late white harvestโ€™ which was very very sweet, โ€˜too sugaryโ€™ in the opinion or some wine connoisseurs whom I visited this place with๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ˜‚ but I loved it anyway. I recommend highly and make sure you get a tour or the cellars when you visit โ—๏ธ
