Excellent Wine Estate 🍷 and Restaurant. Great for lunch. The menu is so diverse. Staff handles crowds well. The goats are cute. Gardens magnificent. I love the variety of cheeses and breads. I have been going there since 1993 with my guests. Bookings are essential because it is,always busy. Toilets are clean. I don't drink wine, but they say it's excellent. Wine tasting is enjoyed by my guests regularly. The history is impressive.

It was my first time in Paarl, and the experience was truly unforgettable. The breathtaking views left me in awe. Fair View is a charming and tranquil place that exudes coziness. I had the pleasure of savoring some exceptionally delicious wines and cheeses, making the visit even more delightful. The wine tasting experience was intriguing and added an extra layer of enjoyment to my trip. Although I don't have children, I could see how Fair View would be a perfect destination for families, thanks to the entertaining presence of playful goats. My heartfelt thanks for the wonderful experience!

Amazing place, the best wine-tasting experience I have ever had. Staff was great, you feel like you are at a bar with entertainment. Pairings were surprising ang really good. Riesling and feta was the highlight of the day. Will definitely come back here.

A great two hour experience. We had a cheese and wine paring for the taste experience. The cheese is extremely good, especially the goat cheese. The wine is also commendable. We enjoyed the becon Shiraz the most. The setting of the wine tasting is inside. International tourist should put this place on their top 10 in the area.

What a great time we had at this wine farm. My guest were from France and in true French style that had to have the cheese and wine pairing tasting with a wee bit of flair. They bought a baguette and dried sausage to add this to the experience 😉 We spent a couple of hours here spending time with the goats and savoring the ambiance. A must got to place of you love cheese and wine😉

Amazing wine farm - we really enjoyed the master tasting. Afterwards we bought some of their amazing wines and cheese 🧀🍷 and fresh bread 🍞 and enjoyed lunch at their restaurant where 2 little 🐿 were running around which was just too cute to see. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.

The wine and cheese pairing is delicious and definitely worth a visit! R50 for 6 wines along with 6 cheeses. There are 2 sets of 6 x whines to choose from according to your preference. The deli also offers a wide variety of dairy products, cold meats and baked goods, sweet and salty. Beautiful surrounding area, highly recommended*

Such a brilliant experience. The wine-tasting experience is the most fun, take your final taster along with you as you stroll through the deli and take your pick of their delicious items for sale. The ladies that gave us our tasting were very knowledgeable and made us feel right at home. Bravo, Fairview 👌

Such a nice atmosphere. Very green, trees and a huge fishpond. One of the best venues for wine tasting with a large selection of cheese to accompany the wine. Highly recommended

Wonderful morning of wine and cheese tasting for the grown-ups and ice-cream tasting for the kids. Fun to see the goats climbing their tower, must be a great view from up there over the vineyards ;-P Lots of delicious things to buy in the shop too

Fairview is one of my all time favorites while im away from home. It is a must on my winery travels to cape town. Doesn't matter how many times I've been the atmosphere, the friendliness and the food and wine never disappoints. Fairview represents what a wine tasting experience should be in Cape Town! A place I will keep coming back to. Keep up the passion!!!

Very cozy place with a garden (we found funny with unique shape lemons here). In addition to goats, there are many squirrel 🐿. There is a shop with a large selection of cheeses and other things here. This winery is famous for its Shiraz. I liked Fairview Pinotage most of all. A small minus is that the wine tasting takes place standing. But the cost for a tasting of 7 wines with a plate of cheeses is only 50 rand.

We had a most splendid visit to the farm today. Very safe in every way. We had the wine and cheese tasting and it was very good. Children and non drinkers are most welcome to join with juice. Update 8 feb 2022 We went for a lunch at the restaurant and some shopping at the cheese store. The food was really good. Quality good. Homemade items on platter good. Atmosphere - loved it! Service of hight quality. Well worth a go 😁

Lovely wine tasting experience and a great shop. Not very much else to do though (in contrast to Spice Route next door). Beautiful gardens and a few goats to look at.

Impressive wine estate making it's own cheese. Beautiful grounds as you would expect for the region. The tasting session was extensive and the pairing with cheese delightful. Well worth a visit, and well worth a purchase.

I really liked the wine farm. The restaurant cooks delicious food and R200 is enough for one person to eat 👍🏼 the wine is also very tasty and the wine testing is very interesting (together with goat cheese) only R60. Rita is a very nice girl, she has good energy, it’s nice to listen to her and talk to her)

Very relaxed, informal atmosphere there. We had a Cheese & Wine Tasting at Marco's and loved it. He was in such a good mood and was a friendly waitress. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable and the wines are incredibly good. We really enjoyed our time here. Be sure to visit the restaurant too, very tasty!

A lovely setting, with tastings suitable for every age and taste, including children and non-drinkers. The deli is always a delight and the whole experience is very accessible - you do not need to be a sommelier to enjoy Fairview.

This amazing Vinyard is has a restaurant on the property that serves the best food in the area. Their shop is well stocked with their wines and famous goat cheeses. I highly recommend this Vinyard for the perfect family outing over a weekend or midweek breakaway.

The food and place was absolutely breathtaking, only problem I had was that the service was terrible. We had to wait such a long time to order our food and another long time for our second drinks and even the bill. But the place was lovely

We arrived at the farm at 3:00 pm. The car park is large and shaded. We met little goats. We didn't book lunch. There were many empty tables. For those who love sweet wine, I advise you to try it (that's what it is called). I ordered a classic cheese plate, but I advise you to try the goat plate (the positions are more interesting there). Their menu is large and varied. There is a clearing for picnics, but it is better to book it (as it was written on a sign in the park). When we arrived, the tasting room was open. They also have a local goat cheese shop. A lot of different positions for every taste. Their cheese is simply amazing. This is a great place for cheese lovers.

An experience not to be missed. The whole setup is perfect. We had Marco as our host and only compliments to the young man it comes from his heart, it made it more special. The shop, just tooo much to choose from. Thank you Fairview after so many years enjoying your cheese from retailers in Gauteng we could have the original!

Always a wonderful experience tasting the wines. Loved the display of all their beautiful products and some wines... We went there just for the Sweet White, but unfortunately they were sold out... Thank you for all your lovely cheeses, glazes and sweets which are always fresh

i guess there is a lot more to discover than the cheese and wine tasting! the place is beautiful! enough parking, proper, a lot of animals, well prepared garden (why they have spekbooms as a fence - i dont know). we luckily could enjoy the cheese and wine tasting in the master room with a cheminee and stunning atmoshpere. the stuff did a great job, explaining the whole history. we were there with friends and our little one and all of us enjoyed it completly. unfortuntaley the restaurant was quite crowded so we decided to come for the food in the next year :)

I love going here. They sell amazing flavors of cheese and wine. I'm in love with their desert wines. They're sweet and easy on the pallet. On top of it all, the different types of cheese here are incredible! They also sell bread and dried meats to go with any jam, cheese or wine you choose to take! I highly recommend them. They're a multi award winning wine farm with many esteemed bottles and bottles worth any and all wine connoisseurs collection.

We are from Jhb but each time we go to the Cape we must stop at Fairview to buy cheeses or taste wine. This time round we met a friend and ate at the restaurant. We found the choice limited and not even some toasted sandwiches on the menu. Disappointed !

Fabulous wine and cheese pairing. The cheeses were the highlight for me. Great farm shop to buy things to take home too. The master tasting was fully booked when we arrived, so book in advance if you want to do that one.

An excellent place to visit, you can enjoy breakfast from 09H00 - 11H15 and thereafter other delicious tasty food from their menu. A must visit is their cheese tasting area, where you can taste the different goats cheeses. Don't forget to visit their wine tasting room as well. They have an excellent selection of wines. Will come back here for another visit soon.

Such a great experience - Wine and cheese pairing. Fairview use grapes that not many others use, making some exceptional wines. Great for shopping for cheese, charcuterie and other cheeseboard ingredients. Brilliant set up

Lovely, very busy place to visit. Relaxing atmosphere. The staff of both the Goatshed restaurant and the shop are friendly, helpful and professional in how they conduct themselves. We've enjoyed our visit and also the delicious food. We will definitely visit again when in the area.

Fairview Wine and Cheese is a must-visit destination for wine and cheese lovers!!! The wine selection is excellent, with a range of varietals to suit all tastes, and the cheese is some of the best in the country. The tasting room is spacious with fantastic atmosphere and well-appointed, with knowledgeable staff who provide excellent service. The outdoor area is also lovely, with stunning views of the surrounding grounds and the stunning goat enclosures. In addition to wine and cheese, the farm also offers a range of other products, including olives, artisanal bread, and delicious foods to pair with your wine and cheese. Highly recommended for a relaxed day out in the Winelands!

Highly recommend. The ambience is very cozy and the staff is excellent. A good variety of different vines. The reds are to try. They also sells cooling bags to maintain the wine at the right temperature. They pair every wine with a different type of cheese from the farm, the cheese also are exquisite. They sell a lots of different products from the jam to the honey. They have Swiss goats that you can visit as well. Very professional.
