The hour tour was very informative and you have a chance to touch, hear and feed the ostriches. They showed the different types of Ostriches and the chicks and which were bred for what function. Did you know an ostriches brain is a bit bigger than a golf ball?

It is a really nice place. We went on a tractor tour around the farm and saw lots of ostriches and even some emus. The guide was knowledgable about the farm and the animals which are on it. We saw ostriches which had recently laid some eggs and the ostriches were attempting to sit on them. We also saw eggs in incubators too and the guide told us all about why they usually go into them. We also had lunch while here and the food was very tasty. The waitresses were very friendly and good with dietary requirements.

A nice experience, the ride amongst the ostriches was informative and interesting. We were fortunate to see a mother and her eggs. The shop for curios was pricey but that's expected as they're targeting the overseas market. An overall good experience.

Waren dort von unserer Rundreise aus auf der Farm. Netter kleiner Shop zum stöbern und einkaufen. Führung über die Farm war interessant und der Guide war sehr freundlich und konnte alle fragen super beantworten, er hatte echt gutes Wissen über die Tiere. Die Tiere sind auch nicht "eingesperrt" man sieht, dass es ihnen dort gut geht! Daher war der Besuch für uns auch im Ordnung. Konnten viel lernen und definitiv interessante Dinge. Lohnt sich.

Great tour guide that showed us all the different ostriches on the farm. Very informative, a nice shop that have various accessories made from authentic ostrich leather on sale. You can also feed the ostriches while on your tour of the farm. Great fun for the whole family and awesome interacting with the ostriches

I could not have had more fun with my kids at any other place. Our tour guide Stefan was so informative and friendly, engaging with the kids and laughing along and teaching us so much. Staff are SO friendly and welcoming, they are so amazing and helpful. Facilities are very clean, not a thing out of place, prices are very reasonable and all in all, Worth it ! Defiantly a place you would take your kids and family.

Reasonable restaurant. Interesting finding out about the history of the South African species bred from Zimbabwe & Kenyan birds not indigenous.

So fun and such wonderful birds, they were quite majestic to look at too and my gosh are they tall, I'm 6' and they were almost a feet or more taller than me, but it was fun, also remember to buy a bucket of ostrich feed to feed while your riding across the farm its worth it and is very cheap too around 5 rands so all 4 of us bought one and it made even more memorable

Wir hatten an einer Traktor Tour teilgenommen. Die Idee mit dem Traktor ist hammer und auch ein wenig was spezielles. :) Mit der Fahrt im Traktor kommen die Strausse sehr nahe und können direkt aus dem Wagen gefüttert werden. Leider sprach die Führerin ein sehr schnelles und komisches Englisch. Weil Englisch für uns eine Fremdsprache ist, hatten wir praktisch nichts verstanden.

Had so much fun with family. It is truly an experience to remember. The tour was not short nor short in information. Very informative. It was all round worth it.

Nice place . Loved the ride in the open tractor in the farm. Ostrich here are open and come close. They do not harm . Avoid flashy clothing. Must visit. They have a souvenir shop with a good collection. Clean rest rooms.

We went on a guided tour to Ostrich Farm. It was very informative. They offer lunch or dinner at the end of the tour (optional) . We tried ostrich stake, but they have other options. These birds are so huge, some are friendly and very curious birds. They have a small museum about ostriches and families who have run the ostrich farm for decades.

Safari Ostrich Farm is a perfect outing for the family. The knowledgeable, friendly staff make learning about Ostriches interesting and fun. Safari Ostrich Farm has various souverniers to choose from. Lunch can be ordered from the restaurant. I highly recommend the Ostrich fillet.

This was our second trip to Oudshoorn and an Ostrich farm. Our experience at Safari was much better than our previous trip. The ostrich tour and feeding was great with a very knowledgeable and fun guide. Had a quick bite to eat at the restaurant. Food was good and very well priced.

It is a beautiful Ostrich farm and they have daily tours. We came late so missed out on trying the food but they had a wonderful menu. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and had a great gift shop. It was my birthday when I came to visit and I hope to return again soon. Its 1 of the few working Ostrich farms remaining in SA which was sad to hear as we used to have so many. I definitely recommend going for a visit and be prepared to stay for a few hours. 😊

Just, AMAZING. The guide and driver where great, we had a lady as a guide that could speak so many languages and were so kind-hearted, I just adored her. The shop is great and the personal are even better!

If you like animals then this is the place to see beautiful Ostriches. Feeding and walking with Ostriches was great experience. Also you nice shop to buy bags wallets etc. Finally you can have Ostriche steak in their restaurant, it has a great taste!.

Absolutely loved our experience with these funny ostriches!! We had such a giggle as they reached inside our safari truck and ate the food from our hand. The staff are also very friendly and it was a very informative and educational tour. The leather shop has beautiful items to buy. Definitely recommend going to Safari Ostrich Farm.
