The staff were excellent, friendly, and very accomodating. The suites are well designed, clean, and a pleasure to stay in.

Rooms are modern and great, the reception and the outside of the hotel (it is located inside the mall) are pretty weird. Yet the rooms and the staff were great

I had a terrific stay at the Whale Coast Hotel. The location is walkable to everything in Hermanus within a few minutes. The room was kept up every day with very accommodating staff.

Very nice 2 bedroom suites built in contemporary design with fully stacked kitchen. Right on top of a busy mall but no disturbances once you're inside. Rooms were adequate for a short stay. Very clean and well maintained.

Amazing place! The rooms are beautiful and have sea facing view... The staff is very courteous especially the operational manager Ms. Elonie (sorry if I spelt it wrong) was such a nice, kind lady. Definitely recommend this place if you ever visit Hermanus.

We had a wonderful weekend at this hotel. Location is convenient and surprisingly quiet. The apartments are spacious and have fully equipped kitchens. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. Everyone so friendly and helpful.

this morning due to being late for the check out we found all the six suitcases of the two apartments and our high value clothes including underwear brushes thrown in a chest in the recaption, where we fixed the suitcases on the tables of the "restaurant". after my father and the owner went to the room to check if there were still the 4000 rand hidden by my father under the mattress and they weren't there. the owner promised to refund us but we are not sure given his way of doing it

I enjoyed every minute of my stay. Will definitely return. Beautiful apartments modern outlay fully equipt. Friendly staff. Comfy beds.. clean fresh linen including the apartments. I JUST LOVE IT!!! My family had a blast. THANK YOU WHALE COAST HOTEL FOR HAVING US!!!

Nice space for a few people. Friendly service. Just in our apartment were 2 horrible smells. One when you open the kitchen cupboards and the other was the carpets in the rooms bc they told us a geyser burst so the carpets were damp (instead of moving us). Terrible to smell whole weekend. Toaster didn't work either. And they only give you one room key no matter if there are 2, 4 or 6 people in one apartment. They only gave 1 dishwasher tablet for the 3 days that we stayed.

Excellent service! Staff is very helpful and friendly. Only downside was that the kitchen cupboards and dish cloths had a bad smell. But other than that, it was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend!
