Very very nice guest house situated in a quiet neighbourhood. Staff is very professional. Celia the manager is amazing and made sure we would have a lovely stay. The house has everything you might expect from a 5 stars guest house. Highly recommended!

Had the most luxurious stay at Selkirk House in Hermanus this past weekend. Check-in was smooth, warm and friendly. Anita made us feel so special and welcomed, can't thank her enough. Rooms were warm & cozy with lovely little touches like a complimentary Lindt Chocolate and Sherry in the corner. Never knew how amazing underfloor heating in a bathroom is... and the bathtub was massive. Breakfast was delicious, my wife had perfectly cooked poached eggs and I enjoyed some French Toast with Bacon, Maple Syrup and a baked banana. All in all we can highly recommend Selkirk House for a spoiled weekend away. Don't wait, just book it!

Visited Selkirk House this weekend and amazed to find this gem in Hermanus. Absolutely exquisite home, magnificently decorated and the most incredible technology throughout the house to make your stay special. The manager Celia is a legend in Hermanus and I'm excited to see her impact on Selkirk House.

We (Christo and Fiona) enjoyed the experience at Selkirk as the host was very welcoming and went the extra mile to make us feel at home. The house environment was modern and luxurious yet comfortable. We will definitely be visiting Selkirk again and would 10/10 recommend.

Amazing guest house, I highly recommend it. It is situated right against the mountain and the property is spectacular. The service was wonderful and the staff very friendly.

Wonderful stay! The staff was most attentive and helpful and the rooms and bathrooms were exquisite. The whole house's interior, the garden and the location contribute to the special atmosphere of the place. The guest house is well-organized and offers almost anything you could need, from an in-house wine cellar, wi-fi, swimming pool to underfloor heating. Would stay there again any time!

It was a very beautiful experience and I highly recommend Selkirk House. The Owners was very welcoming and accommodating. The place was very well run and conveniently set up. For the money you wont get much better. This is boutique and deserves every credit. My tip is to get room number 2 as it will come with a huge lounge, TV, sumptuous sofas and a super comfy bed. The hosts Peter and his wife were a delight and care about their guests stay. Breakfast was fresh, quick and prompt. Go. You wont be disappointed!

What a great place! The room was large and comfy, the bath was spacious and well equipped (the towel racks were heated, so the towels were always warm when you picked them up. Dreamy!) The staff was super helpful and accommodating. Seriously, this place is perfect!

Amazing place to stay in luxury and the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by Celia, the manager, who is a legend in the Hermanus hospitality industry. Situated in a quiet upmarket area on the fynbos mountain slope, yet minutes from centre of town and the beaches. Highly recommended!

We always receive the warmest welcome at Selkirk. It feels like coming home and being spoilt. The rooms are wonderful, breakfast is incredible but most of all Celia brings the heart ❤️ and soul to this wonderful location. Can't wait to return.

A true 5 Star Hotel. Everything you would expect from a World Class 5Star Hotel. Large, extremely comfortable rooms with excellent Linens and Bedding. Great, large shower, with plenty ofHot water. Excellent Wi-Fi. An unbelievable fresh Breakfast. Smoke Trout, Parisian Quality Pastries. Homemade Jams and Jellies. Spacious Living Area. Stunning Hot Spa Area with fireplace. And to top it all off. The BESt Hostess. Celia. I travel over 180 days a year worldwide and this is in my top ten. Way up there. Oh, by the way Hermanus is a extremely worthwhile stop. Sophisticated and great sights and adventures.
