We spent three wonderful days and nights at 7 on Marine in Hermanus. Everything is just right here, starting with the furnishing of the house and the rooms, the cleanliness, the great breakfast and the warmth of the owner and the staff. The center of Hermanus with its restaurants and shops can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. Just opposite the house on the cliffs is Ficks Restaurant, good for a snack and a good glass of wine in the afternoon sun. The Cliff Path is also just a stone's throw from the house and invites you to take a morning stroll on the cliffs high above the sea. We stayed during whale season and were very lucky to see whales from the balcony of our room.

Despite the minor inconvenience of the building alterations behind the hotel, the excellent and friendly staff MORE than made up for it. Thanks to Iba, Sandisa, Pinkie, and others, capably led by GilbertšŸ‘ŒšŸ». Breakfasts were superb.

We try to connect with the people who are the driving force behind this country as much as possible, which is (as is everywhere) the staff. These were all, without exception, beautiful individuals who have amazing stories to share. I suggest for everyone to find out about those. There's no need to talk about anything else as it all was second to none anyway. I wish everyone at the hotel to make their dreams come true.

Nicer staff than any hotel I've visited in the States. I didn't want to leave because they were so accomodating, friendly and sweet. The rooms have amazing views. The breakfast is insanely good. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Absolutely lovely place to stay. Staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious - a nice choice of food and the option of dairy-free milk. The room was lovely with beautiful sea views. The first place thatā€™s offered a separate make-up face towel! A really great idea as Iā€™m always getting black mascara on the white towels. The hotel was right on the cliff top path which was a lovely walk to the Harbour (right) and the town/restaurants/beach (left). Running felt very safe along the cliff path and roads. Would love to visit again in the future and highly recommend.

We had a great stay in Hermanus. One Marine Drive is the right place to fill up. One minor issue in my opinion is the exhuast by the generator. The energy system could be upgraded to a solar powered battery.

The hotel was amazing we could see whales from our bedroom window. The team at the hotel were incredible. Lee & Glibert help with everything we needed. The chefā€™s poached eggs were to die for. Highly recommended.

Lovely little hotel right on the coast. It's a small hotel with a lovely service and great breakfasts. The staff is very helpful. There's a 24hr pool in the courtyard and a cosy little place to sit down by the fire in the evening with a delicious glass of wine. We will be back

Spent a delightful night at this lovely boutique hotel a couple of weeks ago. The staff were welcoming and went out of their way to ensure our every need was fulfilled. The room was spacious, comfortable and the king size bed a real treat. Everything a guest might need was catered for in the shower room. It was large & roomy, with 2 showerheads and heated towel rails to boot. Great on a cold Cape winter's night. The breakfast was we enjoyed on Sunday was delicious, with a variety of hot and cold dishes on offer. I will definitely be visiting this delightful spot again.

Such a beautiful and welcoming hotel! We spent two wonderful nights here. The staff, especially Sakhi, made sure we had everything we needed. He was a great host with a wealth of knowledge for the area. The rooms were very clean and had an amazing view. Cute details throughout the building. Area is safe and most places are within walking distance.

This was the best hotel experience by far, The Manager Herself (Tamzin Pasqualli) done the booking for me and even went ahead by making sure that the room was romantically decorated (as this was my Wifes birthday surprise). i slept in One Marine PEACEFULLY and HAPPY........the service from the Staff was exceptional. i also enjoyed the nice Chocolates in the room and next to the receptionist. I am definitely going back to this hotel.

We stayed at One Marine Drive 3 weekends ago and it was an absolute spoil. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and just want to serve you in any way that they can. The hotel is beautifully decorated in a chic modern style. There are only 8 rooms and I would definitely recommend a sea facing room. You often see whales from your balcony and the views of the ocean are stunning. The rooms are small, but have everything you need. The heated towel rail is great. You have access to tea and coffee making facilities 24/7 either in the lobby downstairs or outside your room. The selection of teas, hot chocolates and coffees are very generous. Every afternoon there is a complimentary tea treat in the lobby, we had lamingtons on day 1, vanilla cake on day 2 and vanilla cupcakes on day 3. Breakfast is delicious, with just enough options on the continental buffet and the hot breakfast that you order a la carte is also very good. The kitchen staff are also happy to make you whatever you'd prefer, you just need to ask in this hotel. The pool area is lovely, we just didn't get to swim, as it was still quite cold. The location of the hotel is very convenient, a couple of steps from the cliff path and a 10minute walk into the centre of town. I would highly recommend this hotel for your next stay, if you're looking for personalised service in a quaint setting.

I canā€™t really find fault with the place other than that our room had damp. We were upgraded to another nicer room which also had damp. I didnā€™t enjoy my breakfast, the poached eggs were over cooked. Itā€™s not cheap to stay here so I feel that they should at least get eggs right. The host is a very interesting individual. My stay was pleasant but I think the pricing is out.

A wonderful place to stay, we were made to feel very welcome and looked after marvellously. Driver's booked when we needed them, eateries recommended, a fantastic place/time had by us all. We will recommend you as a great place to stay when in Hermanus, thank you once again, and thanks to Victor in particular šŸ˜

The facilities are very nice however it was the staffs eagerness to serve your every need that just absolutely won the weekend. Kudos to each and everyone of you. This place provides a wonderful hot breakfast and is just a stones through away from a fantastic walking path that meanders down the coastline towards town. There is a plethora of restaurants, shops, sculptures and scenic views to enjoy during your seaside strollā€¦
