Such an amazing 3 night stay at The Potting Shed! Annamarie and Dave were absolutely wonderful, their attention to detail was outstanding. I let them know it was my boyfriend’s birthday and they went ahead and decorated the room which was an awesome touch. Breakfast each morning was perfect. COVID-19 protocols are in place and they just make you feel comfortable and safe. Dave was insightful about the area and the property is so close to everything you want to do in Hermanus. Definitely will be booking with them again!

My wife and I stayed for almost a week in January. Perfectly central, breakfast was great and our private patio was the highlight! The only minor issues; the parking was a bit tight when there’s a full house and our room was very hot and May need a bigger aircon. But regardless, definitely deserves your visit!

An unplanned overnight stay at this Beautifully decorated B&B. Close to centre of Town. Excellent breakfast with fresh home-made bread and muffins. Annemarie went out of her way to make our stay perfect. Recommended a lovely place for dinner. Super comfortable bed with fresh linen. Highly recommended.

The house is a perfect place to get to know well the city. Very comfortable, great service, fantastic breakfast and very nice beds.

The Potting Shed was such an amazing place to stay, the rooms were super clean and just beautifully decorated with an en-suite shower and tea and coffee facilities with hand made biscuits. The beds were very comfortable and the guesthouse had a cosy feel about it, not forgetting a delicious breakfast. The scenery by the beach was breathtaking, the wineries nearby were stunning (and of course had to sample the wine, fantastic!) Annamarie and Dave were great hosts with good local knowledge and suggestions for things to see, do and eat. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend. Many thanks guys.

Great place to stay in Hermanus. Good location, short walk to the center (you can do this also at night time, it's quite safe). Great en nice owners, good information. Also a nice breakfast!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in The Studio at The Potting Shed. The hosts, Annamarie and Dave, are incredibly hospitable and friendly and serve a delicious breakfast every morning which included some of the tastiest rusks and pancakes. The housekeeper, Doreen in particular, was an absolute delight and always had a smile on her face. We enjoyed a lovely long weekend away and would recommend this establishment to anyone wanting to enjoy a pleasant stay in the town of Hermanus.

This is the third time we have stayed at the Potting shed and the second we have stayed in the Studio room. The place is spotless and very comfortable. Dave's breakfasts are legendry and both Annamarie and Dave make you feel most welcome. Its a short walk down to the coastal path where you can have a good walk to town to enjoy the restaurants Hermanus has to offer or further on to some great beach spots including beach bars!

Hermanus is a lovely town with a very open and friendly atmosphere. The Potting Shed resembles this entirely. It’s a cozy place to stay, with incredibly friendly owners with great stories and tips. We were there for our honeymoon and very much appreciated the extra effort to make our stay even more wonderful. We highly recommend The Potting Shed!

One of the loveliest places I have ever stayed. Dave and AnneMarie are the kindest hosts. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was amazing with very delicious homemade food.

This is a lovely place to stay. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The guesthouse is close to a whale watching spot and in walking distance from Hermanus city centre. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Try their delicious pancakes at breakfast.

Centrally located and close to all amenities. You can walk to the CBD and where most restaurants are located. We received a warm welcome from the hosts and the staff were friendly throughout our stay. Our room was spacious with a patio and we had our breakfast brought to our room every morning. The room is beautifully decorated with a lovely shower, comfy bed, and clean linen. Our stay here was a wonderful one.

Beautiful place to stay, very clean central and close to the beach /old Harbour too and restaurants. Their recommendations of the activities to do in Hermanus was also very helpful and they are able to help book for you too.They make the best home baked bread, pancakes, cakes and other goodies too

Lovely little guesthouse in a great location. Just a quick walk down to the cliff walk where you can take in amazing views heading either towards town or the harbor where a few of the whale watching charters head out of. Annamarie is absolutely charming to talk to and she and her staff whip up a great breakfast (the crepes were fantastic!). Bed was slightly smaller than our other stays but the room was well appointed and comfy. Loved having a bit of an outdoor space to watch the stars at night.
