Valentines Hermanus stay was an absolute gem to stay at and you don't get better host than Helen and Greg.From the start to the finish everything was amazing.Lovelay, clean accommodation with so many extras,a real spoil.Nothing was any trouble.So much more to say but go and experience it for yourself. Valentines Hermanus is a beautiful place to stay! Greg and Helen are excellent hosts always willing to assist and make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The rooms were very well equipped with lovely queen size beds, coffee and tea areas and a big bathroom. Loved all the little details in the rooms such as the starfish ornaments and teddy bears. The house was always very clean, pleasant to be in and bright and open. The patio area is so relaxing to be in whether you are sitting and watching all the birdlife in the garden or sitting in the jacuzzi with a drink. The deck area at the roof was also a wonderful place to sit and there is a great view of the ocean and the mountains. Greg and Helen also know all the best places to eat and visit and where lovely companions all round. It was a magnificently relaxing holiday and I loved every minute of it. Will definitely be going back again soon!

Greg and Helen are wonderfully warm, friendly and accommodating hosts. We were very comfortable and loved all the generous extras which made our short stay so much more special. Highly recommended, and thank you - we'll be back again!

This is the nicest place to stay while viewing whales off the deck or just enjoying Hermanus. Greg and Helen are a lovely couple who make you feel so at home and nothing is too much for them. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and very upmarket.

This place was not as we imagined. It is on the busy main road and not a good location to relax it is also on the outskirts of time with much better accommodation located more centrally. I would not stay here again and visit somewhere thats a bit more value for money and not all the way out of town its not even like you are visiting Hermanus.

Greg and Helene was such amazing hosts. From arriving to leaving they were very nice and made everything very pleasant. They gave us good tips on where to go etc. Our room was always clean when we would get back from an outing. I will definitely go back there. It was very peaceful.

What an experience, friendly hosts, Helen and Greg made us feel at home. Very peaceful environment, neat, stylish yet accommodating. Ocean/mountain view and not to mention diversity in restaurants. Hubby and kids enjoyed every minute...we are definitely coming back in summer for a more romantic weekend away

My experience at Valentine's was warm, accommodating and laid back. Helen and Greg are attentive hosts who make sure that your stay will be relaxed and memorable in a tranquil setting within walking distance to the beach and local restaurants. Will definitely be back ....Thanks guys :)

Finished my second stay at Valenti es. Great host. Secure parking. Awesome shower. Great vies from the roof patio. Can't say enough.

What a delightful place to stay. Room is very cosy, covers all your travel needs, tastefull decorated and comfortably furnished. And the host (Glen) is a real welcoming pleasure. If one has to be critical, although it sleeps 4, the digs are very comfortable for 2. Would be a bit of a squeeze for 4 adults. But then ... there are other options. These days with blackouts the order of the day, a backup power unit for the router would be a major plus. A suggestion to consider.

The hosts are so friendly, thoughtful, attention to detail and really made us feel welcome. Lovely place, size and well kitted. We will return every time.

Valentines was an incredible place to stay, clean and comfortable rooms, beautiful house and garden, great location, and you can watch whales without leaving the house. 5 Stars.

Greg and Helen are phenomenal hosts who bent over backwards to ensure our group of 6 were happily ensconced in their luxurious home. We will definitely be back and we have no reservation in recommending Valentine's and Hermanus.
