We had a wonderful stay at Oude Schuur, room was beautiful and neat. Breakfast every morning was delicious, the wifi was an added bonus. Oude Schuur is situated near restaurants, the beach and the mall which is very convenient. 100% recommend!!

Wow what a beautiful place and excellent service me and my colleague spent a week at oud schuur guesthouse we felt at home. Carin and her husband are the best host they made us feel at home the effort they put and warm welcome is wonderful and the breakfast oooh man is to die for .

It is my second visit to Oude Schuur. I love it. Friendly service with a personal touch. Lovely balcony at each room. Personalised breakfast. Quiet, yet close to Hermanus.

Staying at Oude Schuur is like home away from home. I am not the easiest customer when it comes to booking into a guest house/hotel. We spent a weekend there with friends. The host Carin Dames, is phenomenal, the on suite- rooms luxurious, super neat and the breakfast absolutely fabulous! The guesthouse is within walking distance from the beach and the Onrus Soutpan. I would recommend you gather your family & friends and book the entire venue for a couple of days! so much to see and do in and around Onrus. Beautiful place. We will be back!

My husband and I stayed at Oude Schuur multiple times and our experience was always fabulous, we never had anything to complain about. This year we had a few disappointments and I hope management will make the necessary changes accordingly. Furthermore, James made an awesome breakfast and as usual went the extra mile to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Friendly, professional and accommodating as usual. Thank you, we had a good stay.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. James made us lovely breakfasts every morning, hard to find a friendlier chef. We felt safe and welcome. Great room, clean and spacious and comfortable. We would definitely make use of this guesthouse again. P.S. Would have loved some bottled water in the fridge though and a hairdryer for my wife 😉.
