The location. Perfect valley, on the wine route, views for days. The Milky Way on show at night and sunrises to wake up for. The farm. Cows that graze around you. Birds that serenade you. Trees that whisper in the breeze. Walks and water and tranquility that takes hold of you from the moment you arrive. The accommodation. Protea Cottage was perfect for me but ideal if you're a duo. Comfy bed, I slept like a bear in hibernation. Huge sofa where I lay reading with massive windows to watch the day slip into night. Fired up the BBQ and grilled my dinner. A gorgeous indoor fireplace that added to the lovely ambience. Well kitted out. Great bath tub and shower. Loved it so much I did not want to leave. Conveniences. No phone signal, free WiFi. Great to get off the grid. 15 minute drive through this heavenly valley into Hermanus with a great farm shop just 7 minutes up the road. I took walks around the property. Great to sit and be still or skip into town and go whale spotting. Things close enough when you need them but far enough for serenity and solace. The staff are fantastic. The management terrific. They don't impose, they weren't to extra lengths to help family in the UK with a birthday surprise. Their dogs are so sweet and all in all, I will be back again.

Stayed here a few times. The Hemel en Aarde valley is gorgeous. Some fine wine farms in the area. The High Seasons is a fabulous retreat. Swimming pool and private braai areas. Wi-Fi and all the luxury you would want or need in a well located space. Will definitely return and most certainly recommend. We were treated with the new calf being born on the day of our arrival.

Beautiful farm environment close enough to Hermanus is u feel like taking the kids to the beach!!band if course multiple wine farms to choose from for the adults! High Season Farm cottages are very comfortable, well appointed, clean and have everything u need. Lovely walks, bike ride, pool and being entertained by the cows...what fun for the kids. Highly recommended.

Beautiful location amongst the paddocks on this farm in Onrus. Cottages are clean, cosy and comfortable. Quiet, peaceful location. Dog friendly, provided your dogs are well-behaved.

We stayed at High Season for our annual Boys on Tour golf weekend, BOT23. We used Pine Tree Cottage and Oak Tree Cottage , It was fantastic. Sleeping arrangements for 6 per cottage. More than enough space. As we entertained al 12 in one cottage every night for the Dinners. The Farm felt safe, relaxing and we had fun too. Everything was neat and clean. Warm water for everyone to shower. I was surprised when loadshedding happened and all of the sudden we had backup power. Which was great, it is only active from 5 pm to 10 am and is not used during the day. We didnt even hear a Generator run. We used the outside Braai every night and loved the sunset and with it being a working farm, cows passing us every day on their way to the other field. We even had a peacock come and visit us in the morning before we had to start Thank you Jani and family...

One of the most beautiful places I have ever had the pleasure to stay at. What a lovely farm! Stunning views, lovely plants, fantastic staff. Everything was spacious and clean, while keeping its charming rustic quality. I hope I get the opportunity to stay there again.

Beautiful farm in Hemel en Aarde Valley, super comfortable and clean cottages, perfect for families. We ordered breakfast and dinner baskets which were absolutely delicious. Excellent service and a perfect & peaceful getaway! We will be back!

High Season Farm was absolutely amazing....Beautiful views and landscape, cows right in your backyard.The Lodge was neat and spacious and Mountain views from every room.The wine route and farm shops are near to explore and visit.I will defenitly be back and recommend to family and friends.

Absolutely gorgeous Cottages. Attended a wedding and stayed here mini break away. Property is absolutely beautiful, relaxing. The Cottages are so unique and "homy" definitely a hidden little gem
