Uniquely beautiful place with a team full of heart, soul, life and laughs. + The room was everything you needed and cleverly arranged. The quaint little balcony was lovely in the mornings. + Little attention to details in the bedroom as well as downstairs showed a great deal of care and thought. + The shop helping local women and crafts was great to have and we bought lots. + The fact that they have an honesty bar really gives you an insight into their attitude and who the owners are. + The breakfast was on another level of brilliance and taste. Antje never looked flustered and all the food was really tasty with a touch of home and warmth to it all. + We were particularly lucky in our experience that we met another couple who we got on with really well. + Seeing whales from the balcony on all days of our stay was again a particularly lucky experience which made the place all the more magical. + The fact it is on the waterfront with incredible views in a vista harbour is wonderful. Don’t expect a huge amount going on as this is a sleepy quiet but lovely place. + Great location as a springboard to other areas with more adventure. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, Antje and Gary made us feel a warmth and very welcome. So friendly and willing to help. What a team! What a place! What a home from home! What comfort! The local dinner at Kloeks just a short walk away was a cherry on a fantastic stay. If I’d known I’d have stayed here fo days more and travelled to local areas returning back to this wonderful lodge.

Excellent location with beautiful sea views from your bed, spa bath and balcony. We had a wonderful, peaceful and happy 4 days. Gary, Antje and the Team are great and accommodating hosts. Lots of attention to detail. Great breakfast and I can also recommend the optional platters for the evening. Loved it!

Absolutely the cherry on top! Hospitality outstanding, great breakfast. We had the best room in the house - the Honeymoon Suite. The view is right onto the ocean. We lay in bed watching the whales, the stormy ocean and watched the sun set , with a glass of wine in hand, on our private balcony. You can lie in the bath and watch the dolphins and seals frolic. All of this in total privacy. We can only but recommend Whalesong Lodge.

Amazing stay! The staff were phenomenal and the position of the house was superb! We went away as 3 couples to this amazing guest house and had the best weekend away.

Beautifully decorated lodge on the coast run by a lovely couple, beautiful views looking across to Hermanus. Really enjoyed our stay would definitely recommend to anyone.

A night in the honeymoon suite was the highlight of our trip! View is absolutely amazing.

Extremely nice Bed&Breakfast! Beautiful, clean, big and modern rooms and a tasty breakfast with a great selection. All balconies look towards the sea - which is just across the street - and offer an amazing view. You can even spot whales from there. The hosts are super nice and accommodating and are always open for a chat or a few quick tips where to have dinner or what sights to see. All in all: 100% recommended!

Perfect location with a unbelievable view over Walker Bay. Delicious breakfast 😋. Comfortable beds with a great layout of the room. Great staff and super friendly manager. You feel right at home. We will definitely be back🤩

The views and the rooms are amazing, and everyone who worked there was very nice and friendly, the breakfast was so lovely to start the day too. Would totally recommend.

A cosy stay with extraordinary views of the Atlantic. We saw a whale and seals in the kelp forest just below the lodge windows at breakfast. Excellent rooms, delicious breakfast and friendly service!

Magical experience waking up watching whales showing off breaching, dancing and waving in the bay while lying in bed. Gary and Antje are amazing hosts and excellent breakfast too!
