Great place, beautiful location, very clean... Would have been a 5* but... we faced a major issue. We got robbed during the night for a value of R1000 + in meat, alcohol and speakers. Very sad event that affected my fiance's birthday. The security guard didn't seem fazed.

The gate keepers can hardly speak English and the bathroom thats closest to the gate is a little outdated as the ones at the top part of the park are more updated and have more showers. The bathroom (one that was mentioned before)one on the females side the bathroom at the very back is broken the shower is damaged and the toilet does not look broken but it looks dirty while as comment of my grandfather at their side the same bathroom was not like ours and fully functioning. Otherwise the experience was amazing.

Great Caravan Park, excellent location with neat and well served ablution facilities. Just so,so,so sad that thieves climbing over the fence and steal your stuff. They stole my wife cellphone,perfume and my Wiskhy,Gin and redwine between 3 and 4am while we were sleeping. I strongly suggest more security walking at night and to put an electric fence on top of the current fence. The seaview stands next to the fence is very vulnerable, they check you out throughout the day. Hope management can urgently do something about this serious matter.

As seniors my husband and I received the best ever service and attention from Deon and his team. Beautifully shaded campsite, well maintained ablution facilities, excellent security and lovely areas for walking. A great experience and we will be back!!

Had the best midweek stay here and I'll definitely be returning ,maybe for a little longer next time , Our stay was so peaceful and felt safe . Very neat resort and we'll maintained with clean ablutions and friendly staff ,plenty of sun and shaded areas and protection from the wind ,if you have any ,.....our weather was perfect just like our stay

Travelling around South Africa in our van, this was our favourite camping spot find! Right overlooking Davies Tidal Pool. What a treat! Plenty of trees for shade, a broad variety of camping spots to choose from- almost all of them very level and comfortable. We really enjoyed having all of the pensioners around us, the week days are peaceful and quiet, and on the weekends it looks like the kids have an absolute ball. Absolutely looking forward to returning. To note: 3 neighbouring campsites had their gas bottles stolen in the night- this has to be an inside job amongst staff and is concerning. We made sure to keep everything inside.. I hope this can be resolved by management.

Loved the location, falling asleep to the sound of the ocean was blissful. We had to put everything away at night, as we were warned about things disappearing at night, but we never felt unsafe. Ablution blocks were very clean and even had lights during loadshedding. Will go back again.

Its a very nice place with caravans acomodations. it can accomodate to more than 100 families amd its close to Onrus milk on the beach.

We have a connection where we go glamping here. The Facilities are well taken care of. The ocean whispering at night while being covered with cozy trees and surrounded with bushes and fires, makes it the perfect atmosphere to camp in. Also lekker if youre a surfer cause Onrus beach is just around the corner.

Had a great time at the caravan site. Very well run and they have security gaurds walking around at night. Lots of activities in the area. Will definitely be back

Unfortunately, we were burgled this past weekend while camping at Onrus Caravan Park. In the weeks leading up to the stay, after reading a few alarming reviews, I contacted the Manager at Onrus and she assured me that the security has improved drastically and the last entry was a 'disgruntled long stay camper'. 'Which happened at the 'beginning of the year'. When we woke up on our first morning - we discovered that our stove top, gas bottle, camp light and shoes were stolen from our camp site. It's a pity as the camp site is well situated and the ground staff are working hard at keeping the sites clean. But management clearly doesn't have a handle on the crime situation and we recommend you stay away unless you are willing to pack up your entire camp site at night. And accept the risk that you might walk into someone snooping around after dark. Like they say when you arrive: The facilities are used at own risk...

A favourite spot of ours, a go-to camp for a weekend away, or a longer stay. Ablutions always clean and stocked with necessary materials. Can get busy during peak season, but never a problem. Access to sea is easy and close by. But there have been some petty security issues in the past (theft of kit etc.), but they are working on sorting that out.

We stayed just over a month and had a great time there. Friendly staff, grassed stands, shade, access to coast for lovely walks and swims, security, clean ablutions, and friendly campers.

An awesome place to camp .fun activities for everyone. The restrooms 🚻 were not much clean. Further great place for kids to make friends

This is a lovely camping resort. Most of the sites are in an indigenous Millwood forest next to the sea at Onrus. We will be back.

Amenities are well kept, security has increased, very noisy though and our stand was super dirty not to mention uneven and rocky, probably best for caravans and not tents.

Fantastic camping venue. The ablutions are spotless with staff cleaning all the time. Will definitely go back.

This place it super chilled... Gives you the camping experience but with all the conveniences... Nice n quiet.

Second ablution blocks (farthest away from the entrance) were quite new and relatively clean, but some of the showers didn't have the cleanest walls. Also tended to get a bit of brown water from the taps every now and again. Campsites themselves are situated closely to the sea, but beware that there's still a fence which means you may have to walk around a little to access the sea. There are spots for you to put your wood into for the braai, but make sure to bring your own grid if you plan on braaing here.

Very friendly personnel. Clean and stands are well maintained especially if you think its run by a Municipality, well done!

For a municipal park it was a very nice surprise to see how well it's run. Staff are pleasant and ablutions were spotless.

Very popular caravan park in Onrus. Facilities are clean and maintained which is difficult in peak season.

My experience at this caravan park was very disappointing, I enjoyed the surroundings and bathroom was very clean, we recieved disgusting service from the park management which thought she had the rite to name call and as well as the mayor and the deputy mayor, I'm a 1st time visitor to this town, very disappointing!!!!

It's a wonderful place to have a very relaxing break. Extremely neat and well kept ablution facilities. Well secured too.
