I went to the club located in terminal 5. It’s a little difficult to find, but by the Duty-Free store, take the elevator up a floor. It was completely empty, and massive. Nice, fresh breakfast food was available as well as an open bar. Plenty of comfortable seating with charging outlets, large and clean bathrooms, and friendly staff. Don’t sleep on their scrambled egg station or their waffle station! So, so good. And the coffee machine always brews fresh, tasty coffee.

This was a very nice lounge. Excellent lighting and a wide range of snacks and food are on offer. Beer fridge had some craft beers available which were very flavourful and I enjoyed consuming these. Shower suites were readily available. Drink machine had some varieties of soda which were not available elsewhere. Excellent views of the airport and seating available to watch the aircraft.

We had a long layover in LAX and as the Centurion Lounge closed at 4.30pm!!, we had to leave that lounge and find another as we still had. 4 hour wait until I flight departed. Once again, we paid to get into an American Airlines lounge - the Admirals Club. We had experienced one in the domestic terminal in San Francisco airport and found it very good and this one measured up pretty much the same. This lounge has an impressive view over a large part of the tarmac, so you can enjoy the comings and goings of planes. Interesting to watch the interaction between baggage handlers, pilots, flight attendants, ground crew and so on. The space is large with several areas to spend time. There is a bedish kind of area, but not as good as the Centurion Lounge (see other review). The chairs just aren't quite horizontal enough to gain a real sleep. There is a tv area with comfortable chairs to relax. The main part of the lounge is large, with the food and the bar on one side and the view over the tarmac on the other and seating in between. Food available was soup, light salad items, biscuits and much more. Very nice but simple. Fresh fruit was appreciated. You have to pay for you alcohol here. There is a good collection of wines, beers and spirits to choose from. Staff were continually keeping the lounge clean from the bathrooms to the food area. Most impressive. Wifi was good. Plenty of charging points for you to top up your phones and laptops. Tables to work off if you're working. Toilets clean, free tampons and pads in the women's toilets. Staff take pride in their work and always helpful. Bonus to have a flights board that shows which planes are arriving and departing. Well worth a visit.

Stayed for both breakfast and lunch menu at the Flagship Lounge. Food were great and replenished very quickly. Spacious lounge area with comfy designs. Enjoyed the shower room service as well esp because of the dyson hairdryer provided.

Neat and tidy lounge with a fairly open view of the airport to enjoy a little drink and food before your flight. Smaller in size than some of the larger flagship lounges. The real estate becomes fairly precious during the day when there are lots of flights.

Do not eat any of the food. You will get sick. They serve raw salmon, let the meat and breads get molded. YOU WILL GET SICK. Maybe they should consider a change in management because these so called chefs have no real culinary experience. Front of House is lovely tho. For any concerns be sure to ask to speak to a chef so they can lie to your face and tell you it’s good quasi.

This place was an oasis for the long trip that I made and that I had to do in the connection in Los Angeles. They were very kind, I was able to shower, eat something, enjoy a coffee and have a quiet space to take a little nap. it was a perfect afternoon!

It was a great resting area between flights. Great hot and cold food. Amazing salads and soups! You can take a shower to clean up between flights. Highly !

Great place to relax while waiting for your flight. Nice food and drink choices, even macaroons! Showers and quiet places to nap, big screen TV for sports, and super friendly efficient staff. $75 for a day pass if your not a member. Worth it to put up your feet, eat, and freshen up.

I spent three hours at this lounge waiting for my next transit flight. It was super crowded when I came in around 9pm, I could not find a seat for myself until somebody left. Then I queued up for a shower. I waited for 30mins and got the room. The shower room was clean and very good to refresh after a long haul flight. The lounge here wasn't big, but it was good enough to serve a good variety of food. They had rice, salad, roasted chicken, pork, etc. The good thing was they had a lot of drink choices.

Korean Air arrived 5 hours late to LAX and I was pretty toasted. Needed to wait 7 more hours for the connection. Admiral Flagship lounge is like coming to 5 star hotel. People were super happy and also helpful to fix my boarding pass. Food is good but limited selction. Chicago Flagship lounge is better as well as DFW. After travelling 15+ hours, shower room saved my day. There are like 8 shower bathrooms and no need to wait.

A great Admirals Club, fully apportioned with amenities from conference rooms to shower facilities. The staff was courteous and helpful with my flight and guidance. A great club!

Large and spacious location. Great views of the airside. Fantastic selection of foods and snacks with a very decent bar. Clean seating and tables are very conducive to relaxation or work. Fast wifi speeds with PowerPoints and USB points at every seat. Definitely worth it for the perks of a business class ticket or airline frequent flyer status.

Nice lounge, not so big from others I have visited but it's clean. It has good food like lemon roasted chicken and cauliflower rice, staff are friendly and they are pretty much on top of things. They have shower options too. I like that the windows face East so it's not hot in the afternoon. This lounge is next to Gate 41 in Terminal 4.

Not really my scene. I had an 8 hour layover in LA and decided to spend $79 to have a place to sit and take a nap. Pretty much felt uncomfortable the whole time. That's my issue though. They did have free beer which was pretty cool. If you want a little more peace and quiet don't stay in the main area, go around the corner to the far right as you walk in. There's a whole other room in the back that I didn't even realize until I had been there for 6 hours.

Quiet and calm atmosphere. Complimentary drink with snacks was very nice. There were plenty of chairs with chargers available. Although I didn't travel with my children, I appreciate the kids room ,which was sound proof. 👌 Showers are offered here which is umheard of for airport benefits. This amenity makes me consider traveling American more often.

I've never had the opportunity to use the Admiral Club for American Airlines before. I was so impressed. First of all: serve yourself wine, beer and alcohol. Warm prepared foods, specialty coffees and desserts. I was really impressed. Seating is comfortable, however, a bit more private areas to sit and decompress would be nice.

Clean, comfortable, bright, open concept with comfortable seating and clean bathrooms. Shower available, separate kids room, separate quiet lounge. Decent hot food. Bar has separate food menu for purchase. A nice oasis.

Full service Admirals Club including showers. Full buffet amenities as well. Beautiful overlook of Terminal 4. Varied seating areas, my favorite being one where you can stretch out and put your feet up.

Once you work out where to go, this is a nicely laid out and varied lounge. Reasonable food choices, and plenty of liquids. Sadly the coffee is from pump flasks, but it it tasty. Dirty plates & cups are cleared away really quickly. Whilst I was there it didn't get really crowded.

Lounge is spacious and bright, great view of the departure area of 25R, chairs are comfortable and food and drinks are good with a nice selection and variety.

I have to say for being the flag ship club in the United States, it is very disappointing. The food section was poor, bathroom was under construction and seats are definitely not comfortable. I will not visit this place again

  • 3/5 Stephanie M. 6 months ago on Google
The food is only ok, including things like dry pastries, an omelet station, thinly sliced pork chops that had sat for many hours and needed to have been thrown out, and nothing else worth mentioning. Forget trying to rest here as the chairs, including the mere 8 "lounge chaise" style chairs were unbelievably uncomfortable and not conducive to actual rest, not to mention the constant back and forth of the loud carts carrying single dishes to and from the buffet area. The coffee station was out of cups, and I kept having to take my dirty/empty dishes and glasses to a side table for them to be cleared because the employees were standing around chatting instead of clearing places occupied or previous left by other guests. Very disappointing.

The club was calming and peaceful just what was needed after flight was delayed. Breakfast was delicious

I'm sure most of those who like this area are American. A lounge that reminds us how weak Americans are in the service industry. Emirates, Singapore and Turkish Airlines show how lounges are best. I want everyone who likes this place to see these airline lounges. This place is incredibly poor in terms of food variety. Good luck with whatever you find in a tiny space. Even if your ticket is first, it asks you for $59 to enter. Great hospitality!

It's a nice lounge! We had a long layover so we headed to the lounge, first off it is a big lounge with tons of seating. The space is quite open so you don't feel like you're squeezed in. The food was delicious, there was a big variety of salads some soup and of course a main with cookies for dessert. There is an extensive beer, wine and liquor selection as well as sodas and coffee. We ate our share and then some. There are showers if you need them and the bathrooms had private toilet stalls (which is nice) big enough to change in. The lounge is definitely worth the stop, my next international flight I know where I'm going ✈️

Review of Admirals Club in Terminal 4. This place definitely has what you need; outlets, decent enough food, a singular complimentary beer on tap (Coors Light), a singular complimentary wine option (merlot), and complimentary well gin / vodka / whiskey drinks. Staff was friendly and they had clean bathrooms + strong Wi-Fi. Enjoyed a G&T with a view before my flight!

Soups are good, cauliflower and seasoned ground beef were very good. Coffee is undrinkable, iced tea is good. Service people are very nice.

I just visited this admirals club after the relaunch of the Citi Card with revamped food offerings. While I didn’t snap any pictures I can say that the new and improved food is a move in the right direction. I visited during breakfast and I liked that they had omelets and cinnamon roles and even this cucumber salmon and cream cheese thing. They also had snacks that you could take to go but sadly they weren’t replenished very often so I didn’t get to grab one. Overall a pretty good lounge and the upgraded food is a step in the right direction.

Very nice, calming environment. Varied & constantly refreshed food options, serve yourself drinks (soda, wine, & hard liquor). Unlike Centurion Lounge, no little kids running around, and comfortable & airy environment. Nice view of AA planes at Terminal 4 & Bradley gates.

It was worth it. I had a connection from Japan in Los Angeles and Miami and I paid 79 USD for both locations. I stayed at the one in LAX for over 12 hrs. The food was okay and the servers and front desk staff were very pleasant. I am glad I was also able to shower and just relax until my next flight. I had breakfast at the one in Miami. There was more variety in Miami than in LAX. Also, massage chairs and a sofa like bed are available at the lounge in Miami.

Give it 3.5 stars. Space was nice and quiet and a good escape from the standard terminal. Customer service was very good. The only negative was a small complementary food and drink selection, especially compared to other airline clubs.
