So this place used to be "Sushi Day", which is why we chose to eat here. Upon arrival we noticed it was now "Sushi Happy" (new chefs and staff). The staff was better so we decided to give it a shot. Sushi was decent in taste. Here is where things go bad. Found hair on one of my sushi rolls. We brought it to the servers attention and he took care of it. Everyone makes mistakes I thought, so we kept eating and as I took a bite of a different roll there was hair in it, I had to pull out the hair out of my mouth. That's where I drew the line. Sad to say I will not be eating here ever again.

My giant of a kind son love’s sushi. He’s really got a sensitive, kind, caring heart. So much it breaks my heart I can’t buy him sushi as much as I want. It’s expensive but delicious and this area makes being Asian less stressful. Highly recommend!

This is my favorite sushi place in the area. The staff is always very friendly and the fish has always been fresh when I've ordered from them and tastes great. Their B.S.C. roll is my favorite, followed by their baby lobster (Crawfish?) roll. I do wish they had a slightly wider variety of sushi, as one of my favorite rolls is a spicy yellowtail roll, which they do not serve. Overall I'd recommend trying this place out.

This is a hidden gem, very clean with great food and the staff is very attentive and friendly. I ordered the Sashimi-Sushi combo and it was some of the best I’ve had in Gardena. Happy Sushi has a great atmosphere and is a cozy family style restaurant. The chef Paul is super friendly and recommended I try the Unagi for a savory dessert and it was awesome. I’ll definitely be trying out different sushi restaurant’s unagi from now on to compare. If you are a fan of Japanese cuisine I highly recommend Happy Sushi, I’ll most definitely be back.

went there just today for birthday. Everything was so delicious! My favorite was the fried soft shell crab and Eel dishes. The host even played the Birthday song for us and made us feel special. Definitely good place for date night. We will be back!

Delicious sushi spot!! We came here after another nearby sushi spot had a long wait time, and we’re so glad we found this. Large and super fresh sushi rolls for a great price, and quick and friendly service. Our favorite rolls were the Alaskan roll and Volcano roll. Can’t wait to be back!
