Bought 4 fishes with no silly questions asked.....not like pets-at-home. Been 1 week now my fishes are healthy and happy. Staffs are professional and helpful.

Yesterday I had very unpleasant experience with some of the staff working there. I went to buy food for our tortoise with my 12 years old son. When we were leaving from the reptile section my son got questioned about what he has in his back . He was carrying tote back with take away. I answered that he has food there. The member of the staff just rudely rolled his eyes. To be honest, I find this very offensive and intimidating and I wonder if they are asking other customers what they carry in their backs or just teens children? I used to go there as its good pet shop, but after this experience I will go buy elsewhere.

Family run business and local institution. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I go for the great range of freshwater tropical and marine fish and kit.

Helpful staff who have recently been advising me on how to set up my outdoor goldfish colony in a loft water tank on my allottment orchard. They are knowledgable happy to advise and efficient at moving cash from my account to theirs. It's a bit of a zoo in there with lots of families popping in to see the the huge variety of pet animals they stock. Very well worth a visit.

We just came in to see the fish, there seems to be a wide range of pet related items on offer, especially stuff for the aquarium or terrarium, the fish tanks seemed well maintained and one staff member especially was super friendly to my son who was curious about some fish. He loved hearing the piranha story! Great place if you need pet supplies and want to shop locally.

The owner is very helpful and the staff are also. It has always been a pleasure to visit and buy things here. Everyone is so kind and friendly. My grandchildren love coming to see the animals and fish when they visit me. Hopefully this will start up again as Covid becomes less dangerous.

Good selection of marine fish,corals and cold water/tropical fish ( owner knows his customers needs). We went to get our budgie there. Nice choice. Lots of toys,food (dog,cat,bird,fish, lizard)

This pet shop is superb. Expert knowledge at deep level from many of the staff, they always take time to help you and answer your questions. I have purchased two guinea pigs and now tropical fish from them and they have supported me every step of the way. This is a completely different exp to going somewhere like pets at home. These guys are potty about all sorts of animals - you only have to talk to them and there is not much they don't know about. The staff are like one big family (many of them are), staff retention says it all. Save your £s to shop here and no where else! Lucinda

Great local shop. Has everything you need and more. Amazing aquarium and reptile enclosures just to look around. Staff were also really friendly and helpful and happy to help with any questions. Definitely better experience and more selection than many of the bigger pet shops around.

Every time I’ve visited the shop all the staff were so helpful. Such a good and large selection of things for all animals. Went in yesterday for some live food for my leopard gecko, Pets at Home never have what I need in stock but these guys had exactly what I wanted. I was helped really quickly after one of the employees saw I looked a bit lost. I didn't catch his name but the guy in the reptile section honestly made my day, he was really helpful and we went on to have a really nice conversation about music. Even the lady who helped me at the till was lovely! I'll defiantly be back whenever I need anything.

i bought a budgie from there and i love how they keep them seperate and in better conditions. The staff were so nice they even put some stuff on the house since i was a new bird owner. They also provided me with a lot of information and the prices of their products are very reasonable

I love this shop. I've been a few times now and the guy who helps me with my aquarium is expert in his knowledge and guidance, and then purchases are dealt with by really nice and helpful people at the front pay desk. Really big store with loads of pet supplies and a good fish room, lots of tropical fresh water fish. Very helpful staff. My sisters cat came from there and she's the best natured cat we've had, not sure if the store can take credit for that one but its true!

I've shopped hear for years. All the staff are more than happy to help. Everyone knows there stuff with all types of animals. They have always give me the right advice with all my animals. A African gray. A snake and s kit more most recent map titles. I would recommend this shop to everyone

Love this place. I've known them since I was a little kid and they've always gone out their way to answer any questions or just welcome me. I bought a Chinese water dragon from here and it's been really happy and healthy which is rare for the species in captivity so they've clearly done a good job raising the little guy. I would definitely recommend them.

Staff are always helpful and friendly and very knowledgeable. Well stocked with a good range of products and i always find prices reasonable too. Highly recommend.

The owners and staff of the store are amazing. Rick the owner gave me great advice as my blue xlbully was suffering with a skin condition and was costing lots of money to find out the cause. Rick recommended Melaseb which is only prescribed by the vets. It was the best advice ever, her skin cleared up and her fur thickened and grew back very fast. Thanks Rick your an amazing guy with lots of experience if it wasn't for you who knows what I was going to do. Such good prices on food, toys etc. Best pet shop I've been to in a very long time.
