Coffee was absolutely perfect,service was a tad slow but everyone is really friendly. Food was quite good and very well presented and the serving sizes are quite large. Great coffee beans options for you to try and take home.

Service was very accommodating and friendly. Family friendly location with indoor and outdoor seating options. The areas were clean and service time was reasonable. We have coffee and chai (delicious) and a hot breakfast (also delicious). Street parking was available when we were there. Good place for a casual catch up.

Best coffee that I have found! In Brisbane

I'd avoid this coffee shop. I am not here trying to play any guessing games at your shop. You took our money as we asked if you could follow our very simple simple insturctuon, which was "Do not add anything on one coffee and give 2 sweetners SEPEARATELY (for health concerns - diabetes)" We ordered 3 cups of coffee today at Elixir Coffee, Stafford. One was for a friend of mine who is pregnant, and suffering from a Gestational Diabetes. My friend is not allowed to have any sugar, otherwise it puts danger to the pregnant woman and plus the baby as well. Therefore, we specifically specifically asked to give 2 sweetners separately and not to put them into coffee that they cannot be mixed together. However, all 3 coffees were given with sugars in them. No marking on all 3 cups which one was with sweetner and which one was with sugar. How can we tell? The staff couldn't even tell us which one was which either! Ridiculous! So, we asked if they could make a new one and they refused by saying that they were too busy to make a new one. Wow...well, now that coffee was wasted in a garbage bin. We went to another local coffee shop and got a new coffee instead. We wasted our money and time. Did you know some people are NOT allowed to have sugar for their health conditions? such as diabetes? and they could end up at an Emergency Hospital. We did not want to guess and give our pregnant friend suffering from gestational dibetes to take that coffee not knowing which one was with sweetner... Maybe your business is too busy making money but don't care about other's health. I will never visit your coffee shop, in fact put a complaint to ACCC. If you put sweetners into the coffee even though we said don't put anything there, you should have at least marked it with a pen. How can we tell which one was which? when you didn't even mark it... ... We clearly asked several times do not add anything and just give 2 sweetners SEPERATELY. We are very dissapointed at your business for refusing to take responsibilities because you were too busy focusing on making money. We are a family of coffee lovers. But, we will never again go to this coffee shop. Do not recommend this insensitive coffee shop.

Wonderful brunch spot in Stafford - great customer service, amazing food, and a lot of passion from the owners! We booked a table as we had a large group, but they are more than accommodating for walk ins. Highly recommend! We will be back!

We had a mixed experience at Elixr for breakfast. There was a really nice buzz, lots of cute dogs. Mostly super friendly and helpful staff. When ordering we asked if something could be added as a side and were told very firmly "absolutely no" by one guy who overheard, but the cashier was much more friendly and said it was no issue? We ordered the gnocchi and fried chicken waffle. Both were really tasty but the gnocchi was more like a large square hash. No biggie it was delicious but my "breakfast gnocchi" obsessed friend was a little disappointed. I also wish the fried chicken waffle had a home made/savoury waffle instead of the store sweet one. Again, it was great but not the best we've ever had. The maple syrup that came with it however - "drool", so so good. Coffees were great, servings were generous, food didn't take too long even tho it was super busy. I'd definitely go back :)

No dark roast avaiable , the darkest beans were the espresso, very disappointed, had no aroma ,coffee had very little flavour ; I know strong coffee is not for everyone ; but you should go to Melbourne and see how coffee shoul be roasted.

We have been customers for a few years. We buy our coffee beans here because they are the best we have tasted. The complimentary coffee when I buy my coffee beans is a nice touch that we appreciate. The staff have always been lovely. I have never had a bad experience at Elixir. My only issue is the price rise for coffee beans. I am aware coffee has become more expensive everywhere so I am not surprised. It was a shock when it happened. Highly recommended.

Coffee was great, staff we very friendly and the venue was busy (a good sign!). It was notable that lots of regulars were stopping by to grab coffee and food, which is a testament to a good coffee venue!

Friends of Elixir. Baked quinoa, halloumi & potato gnocchi, avocado, fresh baby spinach, whipped feta, spiced walnut and golden sesame dukkah. Another cafe pick for the good opening hours. Also pretty good lure from the new breakfast menu. I didn’t know what to expect from the description but wow, it was quite a stack that showed up. I’d be scared plating and carrying that one over. The ‘gnocchi’ (I assume) were like two fried but surprisingly light bricks on the plate. The quinoa came through but wasn’t as forward as some of the other flavours like the creamy side/whipped feta, dukkah or the avocado. The meal was probably stand out for how easy it was to eat; to get a balance of the flavours, textures and temperatures on offer in each bite. For a ‘fruity’ coffee, it was very good - maybe I’m coming around to these. In terms of service, my experience was only positive (very accommodating too), and there’s a strong community vibe. The street facing isn’t the nicest but I’d be surprised if parking was ever an issue. It’s spacious too, surprising so inside. Further afield but a lot to offer. Would recommend for coffee and for food.

I've had a mix of experience at Elixir to date. Some great service and meals, but some that were left lacking on service speed front as well. Did quality always seems to range from above average to good. They do basic meals executed very well. Coffees have been great, and a few solid beans to choose from. I'd say the biggest issue with the store is the wait times for coffee or beans with little to no shade. It's fine, but it's not exactly an experience to tell your friends about.

Good coffee and good service but food was a bit disappointing. I have ordered Buddha Bowl which was too oily and used vegetable oil to fry the Spinach and kale instead of using olive oil. The dish itself had good flavors but was ruined by the vegetable oil. It kinda defeats the purpose to use lots of vegetable oil in a Buddha Bowl. My friend ordered the Pork Bao Buns presentation was beautiful but taste was average.

I have been coming to Elixir for close to 10 years. The coffee is always well made, the service is friendly and relatively quick. This is the place where I always get my beans for home. And each time you order a bag of beans, there is a free coffee available. Ticks all my coffee boxes as far as I'm concerned 👌😀

Great coffee place and noticed they do have new set of menu to choose from. Don’t mind eating here for breakfast everyday not because it is near to my place but for their good service and delicious food.

The coffee at Elixir is some of the best coffee I've had in Brisbane. The food and the fantastic service are what round out Elixir to be a great place stop and have a coffee or something to eat. The only downside is that parking can be a bit tricky during peak times. Other than that, go to Elixir at Stafford. Great coffee, wonderful food and amazing service.

So please i dropped in today after getting great customer service a couple of weeks ago when you were closed but we were offended ice water with a smile 😃 where nothing was too much. Elixir you do have award winning coffee and the (home made) lemon Ricotta cake is to die for - compliments to your grandma young man but be aware that i might be asking for the secret recipe next time i pay a visit. Yes definitely a next visit 😊

Fab find in this local gem. Don't know how we've never been before! Food is excellent and the staff amazing, only reason I gave it 4 stars are the tables for two are a little small when you're eating as well as coffee, will definitely be back to try more of the menu

There are so many coffee places on Lygon Street in Melbourne that should come here for training. The flat white was smooth and flavourful, and the short black sensational on sequential levels. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, and their love of the art that is coffee is clear. Will definitely have to come here again when I’m next up this way

Great lunch! The burger was delicious and clearly it was all made in-house rather than assembled. The patty was especially good. The chips were the same - hand cut. Great service too. Oh yes: the coffee superb!

We arrived 12.30/12.45pm Saturday noon. We were seated inside close to the kitchen and coffee grinder. The noise inside reached up to 100 dB. We asked if we could get one of the free tables outside. No, because they’re closing at 2pm and already started wrapping things up (at 12.45pm). We were finished by 1.30pm and those tables were still outside, and still empty.

Superb food! Presented with panache. The smoked chorizo and potato with ham and spinach was served under a cloche filled with smoke. Dramatic and amazing. 🤩

I've just had a delicious breakfast with excellent coffee at Elixir. My fellow diners also loved their Eggs Benny. We were looked after by Ange who was very friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Surprisingly cosy cafe in a very industrial area. Nice coffee and baked treats. Can be tricky to find a park on a weekday but usually within a short walk. Cafe had a nice feel to it inside and staff were friendly.

Best coffee in the area!! We had a long macchiato and skinny cap. Friendly service, and amazing coffee. The food was delicious with generous portion sizes at reasonable prices. Wide variety of coffee beans (whole and ground for various uses) available for home use.

The best coffee and breakfast wrap!!! Look at the size of the wrap and it is only 1/2 of it! The egg is nicely cooked with generous serve of bacon, fresh spinach, cheese and perfectly toasted! The coffee is always made to perfection and served with a smile. I would often purchase the elixir Nespresso coffee pods so that I can still have their yummy coffee at home or when I can’t get to them for my coffee fix. The staff members are all friendly and they even remember your name! I like the saying they have… enter as stranger, leave as friends! Yap, Elixir coffee roasters, you certainly have live up to that saying! 😉

As a regular here everyday (that they're open😋), I can confidently say that few can challenge them on friendly service, atmosphere, and consistency in quality. While taking great care and having attention to detail, they've always got a moment for a quick chat or friendly banter. Best coffee around, with the best people on staff!

All the staff were very friendly and did everything they could to make us feel welcome. My home expresso machine struggled with their bean grind. They replaced my ground beans and gave me a complimentary coffee. Now that's great service! For other home expresso owners, a grind of "3" works best for my machine, fyi.

We all have our daily coffee at Elixir! Staff are always friendly and make us feel very welcome. My standard is a double shot flat white on soy, lots of caffeine yet soo smooth. Definitely recommend.
