I am always shocked how quickly the phone is answered and how promptly my enquiry is dealt with. Even when busy, the extremely reception staff seem to go above and beyond to be helpful. The doctors whom I have met have likewise been exemplary in their care. This is an excellent GP Practice and we're very lucky in Ilminster.

Useless My son has a persistent cough which they seem to think is just a joke or not worth worrying about . First contact is with the absolute manner -less receptionist who seems to think she is a Dr and quote clearly loves her perceived position of power. Horrible human. Arrange a call back Shock horror no-one calls back. This is a perfect example of a failing NHS . With staff like her and the attitude she brings I'd need to be on death's door to consider them as a useful option . Death is possibly a better option than having to deal with her. And after all this my unwell son who has been coughing for weeks still doesn't get the assistance he needs Vile place

No appointments even if your dying and don't follow up test results on very sick patients so they end up in hospital

Since joining the surgery a few months ago I've had a brilliant experience. The admin staff are very helpful, friendly and accommodating and the doctors are extremely welcoming and proactive. I would definitely recommend joining this surgery.

Really positive visit to Summervale Surgery this week for our covid booster vaccinations. All of the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, the process for registering and receiving the vaccinations was efficient and we were dealt with very swiftly. Went to get my Covid booster without a booking and the staff where fantastic. There was no problem, I was straight in and straight out and friendly service. Very efficient especially as I had my one year old daughter with me! Thank you

I went for my booster jab at the walk-in session this week and was in and out within 10 minutes (plus waiting time). The whole process was smooth, uncomplicated and professional, and all the staff were amazing. 5 stars.

Dr Bone is our favourite, he’s so lovely with my baby and is patient, listens and is so gentle and sweet with little ones. I’d give 5 stars if my own personal care had been better (a couple of the female GP’s strangely not understanding of simple women’s biology it seems from their odd comments and total misunderstanding of quite simple things after women giving birth)

up until today a good drs, rang today, we're full to capacity, the Dr receptionist took no back ground history just said no ability to speak to any dr, if she had she'd realise I've been being treated for the last 6 months for the same problem due to breastfeeding, sometimes a little bit of compassion/interest goes a long way
