area stinks worse than a public toilet. No clear signage to state that there is no parking charge for the first hour, but expensive ANPR cameras so they can be quick to issue £60 'charge notices'. Will definitely avoid in the future in favour of the other parking sites that don't charge customers to just pop in. One star only because you have to

Easy to use the parking website and plenty of car park space.

Nice group of shops with above parking and lift.

Good selection of large shops across from Asda & Applegreen. It's a shame that the car park charges fees as I'm sure more customers would be attracted to The Gateway if it was free. Best to park in St. Stephens Place and walk along Bythesea Road. Shops:- Next, Boots, Fitness 24, Sports Direct, Evans Cycles and a few others tucked around the corner at the Northern end.

On break from work, Close to Asda..Iceland and multiple shops and good café in old Chapel... Poundland and Vodafone to name a few business ops.

The above carpark staircase was full of bottles and stank like a men's urinal. I guess the parking fee is not to pay for the buildings upkeep. To add insult being charged for over stay. Took ages to climb upstairs as lift was a toxic dump and the stairs had more bottles then a brewery.

Dropped of Dekota for a groom at Pride and Groom. Had chai latte at Cesar's . Very good. Just got a sulking dog but looking and smelling lovely now.

What a monstrosity. Who planned this?? Inaccessible except by the carpark on top, which is always empty. However, driving here is the best option as you take your life in your hands, crossing the road if walking from town. You can use the crossing, which is further down the road and goes from nowhere to nowhere. The shops are all empty or closed No wonder the town centre is dying.

Shops are fine but the stairwell of the car park above really needs some work. Smelled like I was walking through a not very nice public toilet.

The parking on the roof is expensive and dirty. The automatic doors did not open, how does any disabled person get to the shops? I had to carry my granddaughter doen the dirty stairwell and the area at th3 base where payment is made for parking is also dirty. This puts me off visitng these shops again!

Access to the shops via the rooftop car park is absolutely appalling...stairwell and lifts disgusting, filthy, smelly ...why aren't the landlords doing their job?
