This was one of the best hotels I've stayed at. The staff were really kind, polite & helpful. The room was the Junior Suite and it was immaculate! Really nice decor and unique. The breakfast was amazing too, plenty of options. Thank you for the great hospitality.

We stayed here for our son's wedding - and I would say that this hotel is simply Wonderful. The Decor, the ambience and in particular, the Staff - they were just great. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome - and the service we had was excellent. Thank you Miro and Kate - you made our visit an absolute pleasure. We would highly recommend this hotel and would certainly look to stay there again.

We had an absolutely beautiful stay here for a night last month while on our honeymoon. The staff was amazing and made us feel so comfortable! Very classy, yet warm and inviting atmosphere. We loved the honesty bar and had a blast trying our hand at bartending for ourselves while we waited to dine for dinner in the hotel. Dinner (and breakfast the next day), were delicious! We would love to visit again for a longer stay in the future!

We stayed here in January 2020 and loved every minute of it. The room was beautiful, the bathroom huge! The breakfast was excellent and the location very convenient. We still talk about house much we enjoyed our stay here!

Only stayed one night to celebrate a birthday. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was fantastic. Very brave having those colours in a hotel room but it was very clean. Breakfast was great and it's well worth having dinner at the hotel. All in all a great stay.

Excellent hotel. Great style, lovely rooms. Myself and my wife stayed here for just 1 night in August and wished we could have stayed longer. The bathroom in particular was fantastic and huge! We also appreciated the complimentary snacks and drinks - little touches make the difference. I would highly recommend if staying in Bath as it’s not too far from the centre and has free parking. We will return.

Stayed for 2 nights.. Room was spacious and clean, bed was extremely comfortable, loved the quality hair and body wash facilities in bathroom, Good selection of tea & caffee on tray with chocolates and the mini fridge with waters just made my stay super homey. Receptionist ladies were very helpful and friendly, they explained everything about local shop and facilities. Definitely recommend this hotel.

We got the deluxe room and it was very spacious with a king size bed and a couch. It had a television with subscriptions to Netflix, Amazon, Disney+ etc. The entry to our room was direct from outside the property, yet was very safe. We had the breakfast included, and it was totally worth with long list of inclusions. The best part was the service we received from the staff. They were really warm, welcoming and friendly; and made us feel very homely. Special thanks to Ms. Francesca who was very helpful throughout our stay. She explained us everything about the property and helped us with a list of places to visit and things to do in Bath. We are very satisfied with the service and would definitely consider Bathen House whenever we visit Bath again.

An incredibly warm and friendly place to stay. The staff are so kind, helpful, and full of great suggestions. They're all so attentive, too, making you feel like you're the only guest. The rooms themselves are also gorgeous. And the food in the restaurant is delicious. The breakfast, in particular, is fantastic. A lovely place to stay not too far from the centre of Bath. 5/5

This hotel was one of the best hotels I stayed. We stayed in a beautiful room with an amazing bathroom. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff were very polite, helpful and friendly. Free parking was very helpful and saved me time to look for parking. The location was also good and we could drive around easily . For the breakfast I ordered egg Benedict and it was tasty but the buffet itself can be improved and have more options.

This is a spectacular boutique hotel with amazing customer service. Beautiful on the outside and in. Superbly appointed and spacious rooms. Very quiet and comfortable. In romantic coffee and cookies were a helpful touch. Immaculate and clean. I was sad to check out!

We had a fantastic stay here recently, the service was great. Thank you for decorating our room with balloons and petals for a birthday celebration, lovely touch. This is a lovely small boutique hotel. Staff were wonderful, the parking was really good. We enjoyed strolls into the city both days, it’s a 30 minute walk but manageable however uphill on the way back is a bit harder. The honesty bar is so chic, we really enjoyed the concept. Breakfast was fantastic. Our room had everything we needed. I do really recommend this place for a romantic and slightly off the beaten path stay. The Bouvadia restaurant was also a wonderful experience so also recommend that as part of the stay.

We had probably one of the best trips of our life here - celebrating our engagement. This was made all the more special by the wonderful staff at Bathen House - the service, the rooms and the food were all spectacular and made an already special weekend, perfect. A massive thank you to Francesca who was nothing short of a superstar, helping organise the surprise proposal and not giving anything away. The lovely news is we'll always have an excuse to go back!

Had an amazing stay at Bathen House from the welcome we received to the spacious and very comfortable Junior Suite. They had also decorated the room with balloons which was a lovely thought for my boyfriend's birthday. The free standing tub was lovely to relax in followed by a very good night's sleep. Breakfast was also very good. I cannot fault anything about our stay and would highly recommend!

Stayed here for a night for my wife's birthday & don't have a bad word to say. The room was lovely & clean, the bathroom was fantastic & the bed was comfy. Staff were very friendly & the breakfast was spot on. Free onsite parking was a big plus too & only 5 minutes in a taxi to the town centre. Highly recommended if you don't want to go to a boring chain!

My husband and I have now stayed here a number of times. The service and friendliness of the staff is second to none. The breakfast is great with varied offerings. Not forgetting the wonderful restaurant the chef is the best! The rooms are clean & spacious. Large bathrooms with roll top baths. Beds are very comfortable too.

We stayed in the luxury suite for two nights over the weekend. The welcome was friendly and the room was spotless. The staff are absolutely attentive and faultless. We had breakfast both days and the quality and choice was fantastic. It made me sad we didn't book an evening meal. We had two good nights sleep in a comfortable bed. I can see us coming back to this hotel time and time again as we loved both Bath the hotel. I really cannot think to even slightly grumble about. Thanks to the staff for an impressive weekend away. It's a 1.5km walk to Bath Centre which some might not like, but we preferred this and the good parking.

Lovely bed and breakfast just a touch outside of the city center. The rooms had a touch of luxury with tall ceilings and chandeliers. It was a real treat to stay here. We only stayed one night as we passed through on a road trip around the UK and stopped to see the Roman Baths. The breakfast was lovely. Service was wonderful. I would return for an extended stay.

Such a beautiful hotel and the staff were beyond friendly, courteous and helpful, giving useful advise regarding not only things to do in Bath but in the surrounding towns and villages. My wife booked this as a special birthday surprise for me as I'd had my previous 2 during lockdown and they really couldn't do enough to make our stay special. The room was stunning and the bed so comfortable and clean. Breakfast is a must! We only stayed the one night but I would have loved to have stayed longer. We will most definitely revisit again in the future.

We went on a couples trip to Bath , this December 2021.This review was long due. I would recommend this place . The rooms were very good with water bottles and soft drinks available for free. Spacious bathroom with both Bath and walk in shower. Amazing staff right from one at the reception to the one in restaurant/breakfast. Very friendly and always ready to help. Super breakfast prepared hot. We had a very pleasant stay overall.Special thanks to the lovely staff, you all can be proud of what you do.

We usually book at late notice so trying to find a table on a Saturday night in Bath or Bristol is not easy at present but the Bathen house was available. The whole place is immaculate, resembling a lovely Georgian home in Bath with a very accommodating manager who was able to deal with a whole array of allergies with very little pre warning. My husbands birthday was a huge success and I am delighted to have found another restaurant to add to our favourites. Thank you so much; we will be returning.

The hotel is beautiful and my room was really spacious and comfortable. The staff I met (Francesca and Jeremy) were so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was amazing! If you're looking for a quiet hotel within half hour walk from the city centre, this hotel is a great choice.

Want a good hotel lots of nice touches with a regular overnight price then the bethen is it. Stayed three nights, superb room bed and very sumptuous bathroom loved it. Great staff really good food good price, try it.... Look I don't review if its not any good so trust me.

This is a beautiful and elegant boutique hotel. It is a first class accommodation, with excellent service and communications, large rooms, spacious marble bathrooms with modern shower and clawfoot tub, it is a perfect combination of classic appointments and modern amenities. Our room was exceptionally clean. They also provide a refrigerator and snacks and drinks.The booking also came with free parking which was a nice feature. Only drawback is that it is located a good distance from downtown W.e can't say enough nice things about this hotel, we would highly recommend it.

Beautiful hotel! Just returned from our anniversary stay and just as awesome as on our mini-moon. Staff were brilliant and friendly and we had a free upgrade so made it even more special. Rooms are awesome, loved having a bath in the room 😍 can't wait to stay again....couldn't recommend highly enough.

Myself and my partner stayed at Bathen House for Valentine's 2022 and it is surely and unforgettable experience - in fact, it is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. As expected with the price tag, this was a night to remember. We parked in their car park located at the back of the building, where a member of staff had taken the time to come out to welcome us and even take our bags into the reception for us. We were checked in and were recommended some sight seeing spots and places to eat in Bath. Our room was conveniently located across from reception, however our stay and sleep was not affected at all. The room was beautiful, with rose petals scattered across the bed. The room was spacious, with a marvellous chandelier and marble tiles in the bathroom. There was a full bath as well as shower too! Tea, coffee, biscuits, sweets and bottled water were all offered. After returning from our meal, we headed to the bar which was, to our amazement, self serve. We helped ourselves to some drinks, had them in the cosy and beautiful lounge and then headed back to the room for an amazing night's sleep. We made use of the breakfast where we had a full cooked breakfast, as well as tea, coffee and juice. There was also a sense of continuity as we were served by the same staff member our entire stay, who even wished us safe travels. Get booked in to Bathen House for a luxury getaway!

stayed here from July 5th till 8th. Could have happily stayed a few more days but they are fully booked :-) Bathen House is very well placed for a visit to Bath and surrounding areas. As we were without a car, initially we were worried that Bathen house was a little far from the center. Not so! The bus services are excellent, frequent and close by. Now to the hotel itself ... Bathen House truly answers to the description of 'luxury boutique hotel.' We took the junior suite for our 3 night stay and I'm so pleased we did - it is beautiful and elegantly fitted out and the bathroom is gorgeous! We ate the best breakfasts ever during our stay there. The staff are wonderful, patient and helpful and we will definitely return. Loved our stay there and highly recommend.

OMG, What an amazing place to stay. From the moment you arrive to when you leave absolute 5 Star. Staff Amazing, the suite was amazing, what you would expect for the money, we were not disappointed. Love the "Honesty Bar" so relaxed, help yourself and write it down WOW. I've never felt so relaxed being able just chill in lovely surroundings. Thanks too the staff from Matt & Sonia, you made our anniversary.

Firstly the Cleanliness, so clean & everything you need for your stay is there, the Staff are so friendly & helpful. The breakfast lovely choice and fresh ingredients and so calm. Lovely setting not too far from everything, bus stop outside. This time of year we done park & ride at Lansdown you don't pay for parking and bus ride was £2.50 each and we spent the day in Bath. Will be returning 10 / 10

Gorgeous and spacious room. Staff brought in a comfortable rollaway bed for our group of 3 and still had plenty of room to spare. About a 30 minute walk (8 minute drive) to central Bath, which we didn’t mind so we could walk off the delicious food! Highly recommend!

It's a great little hole in the walls place. Very luxurious and great staff. Breakfast was great and the staff was super helpful. Parking is free and in front or back of the property. Fountain turns on at 930am and off at 930pm

Stayed at this amazing hotel for 3 nights and there was nothing we could fault. The room was so spacious and bathroom extremely luxurious. The staff decorated the room for the special occasion of our stay which was a great. We asked for pancakes instead of waffles for breakfast and the chef was more than happy to do them for us and they were incredible. A special thanks to Francesca whom was a delight to deal with and so friendly as well as Jeremy. Will definitely be returning soon. Thank you
