Horrific the hotel stunk the staff had dirty finger nails and smelt like urine how this place is still aloud to let people stay there is beyond me needs quartering

I arrived at 21:00 on the first day to be greeted by a little old woman with a cigarette 🚬 in her hand smoking. The same woman served breakfast the next morning. The bacon was as tough as leather as I think it was pre cooked and warmed up in the microwave, the sausage was chipolata sausages. The only nice thing about the food was the coffee.

Perfect no fuss lunch in a quirky setting ideal for the older crowd, great value for money, wonderful attentive service. Parking not available on site, but lots of spaces in the surrounding area.

Not going to comment on the rooms, thats to each others taste, but the breakfast has been the worst I have ever had. Combined with customer service (non-existent).

Stranded and with limited funds, my mom and I were grateful to find Farmer’s Hotel. It is a nice and cozy bed and breakfast with friendly staff who are always happy to help. We will especially remember Franka “Mama” as she happily prepared breakfast for us on a daily basis. It’s conveniently located across from a wash and go launderette and just a 5 minute walk from the center which made life much easier for us to get around and carry out our transactions.

One night stay with family. Room stank of smoke, and now so do my clothes. Rooms not clean, shower not working, noisy. Cheerful service at breakfast, but really do avoid.

Very clean...bed was comfortable and bathroom spotless...Warm welcome although I didn't have breakfast they are very good...full English..An ideal place to stay reasonable priced

The farmers dinning is an excellent place to go,for great homemade food,at an excellent price Lovely peaceful atmosphere

Cheap and cheerful hotel , rooms are dated but good for the money . Fry up included it te raye of the room. Would come here for luxury but contractors digs are perfect

Had meals on Friday lunchtime. Excellent choice of food, served on hot plates (that's rare) within reasonable time. All very tasty and very reasonably priced. Totally recommended

Friendly staff. A good meal - plaice, chips, veg and a pudding with custard, for £7. A bit quiet, perhaps, but a welcome lunchtime refuge on a busy day.

When we first arrived it was not bad, until we reached the room. That's when paint fumes were overwhelming. I tried the shower but it went cold after 5-10 mins. My partner contacted the reception to try resolve the issue we had and was talking to someone about it, in the background she heard someone say "what the f*** is she complaining about". After a while later we were finally moved to a cheaper but much nicer room. We decided to take breakfast off our bill as I would much rather go to McDonald's, atleast you get service with a smile there.

What a find! Cheerful and friendly service as well as very reasonable prices. I had soup followed by steak pie plus a glass of cider, all for under. £10. Well worth a visit. Snowy white table cloths and spotless toilets too.

Only popped in for coffee.. pleasant enough
