Surprise venue for a family wedding (let down by original venue) found with really short notice. Superb in every respect. Staff delightful and incredibly helpful. Rooms homely, comfortable and large. Food excellent. Could not find a single fault. Not the hotel's fault but I couldn't get the Pod point EV charger to consistently charge my car....🤷🏽‍♂️

Myself & sister in law both attended the spa after being bought gift vouchers and honestly it was such a disappointing afternoon!!! Firstly i’ll start with the highlights, the treatments were amazing, such a lovely therapist who gave fab facials & massages. Now for the bad points - the pool (FULL OF KIDS) i didnt come to a spa to be splashed or screamed at by children, i came to a spa to relax! If i wanted to have a stressful experience i’d of gone to Butlins for a swim!!!! The “heated” outdoor pool was full of bugs and freezing cold & to top it all off the cream tea was 3 scones, a coffee and some condiments (no cakes, no sandwiches) - id of been fuller from a tesco meal deal. Overall disappointing and would not come again!!

We had a lovely stay, very toddler friendly, 3 star hotel. Lovely old building which really needs some TLC. The drinks and food for wildly overpriced for the hotel. Puts us off going again.

We stayed in January in the Baskerville room with our two year old. It took a couple of minutes only to find the 1760’s graffiti. What a fantastic hotel for young families. Easily the best hotel we have stayed in since having a child. We availed the 3 for 2 nights offer which was great value. The swimming pool is just what you want - warm enough for little ones, stylish, clean without smelling of bleach, and lovely views of the walled garden. Lots for children to do. Lovely location just outside Bradford upon Avon, which we meandered around during one of our 90 minute childcare sessions included in the room rate. Food was lovely (I a vegetarian; my husband is very much not). The staff were wonderful - super friendly without being invasive. We’ll be back.

We have just had a wonderful stay at Woolley Grange. It is the perfect place to stay with a dog or children. Our small dog was actively welcomed by the staff who could not do enough for us, especially the lovely Lisa on reception. For a hotel classed as luxury it may not be the smartest but the facilities are great and best of all we had fun. We played ping pong at night after dinner whilst our dog ran around the grounds and then sat in the lounge reading the papers by the real fire. The dinner choice was slightly limited but it was all very good and breakfast was fabulous. It's very close to Bath and other surrounding areas of interest and walkable to the local town. I look forward to returning in the near future.

This place is wonderfully relaxing for families - lovely touches to make it a great experience for us all. My children loved the pool, the games room and running around the grounds. Not too big so doesn't feel very overcrowded but still full of amenities. The staff are very nice and they were absolutely fantastic with my son's allergies - special menu, well briefed staff and excellent communication regarding his food choices from booking. We enjoyed a day in Bradford on Avon sitting by the canal too and soaking in the atmosphere. Thanks for a great break.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to the lovely staff at Woolley Grange, in particular Daniel. Our son was poorly whilst on our family holiday there and Daniel and team went above and beyond to see we were looked after and comfortable. The staff really make this hotel and they couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you so much!

Lovely afternoon tea Shame about the 12.5% service charge! Which wasn't earned, customers should have a choice re paying a tip. Charge more for the meal if you want more income Great location Very family orientated, so if other people's kids and dogs aren't your thing, something to think about

Great location and friendly staff but ruined by overpriced food and drinks and a tiny room that you could barely move around in (£200). Also the 12.5% service charge should be optional, not just added on as part of the standard bill!!!

What a lovely and friendly place. The staff were some of the nicest people I've ever met. The food was incredible, and the bed was one of the nicest beds I've slept in. The rooms are beautiful and spotless. Oh and they have a great selection of whisky to choose from. It's a family and pet friendly hotel so people need to expect small children/babies will be there. If you're looking for adults only, this isn't one of them.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home, all of the staff were so friendly and always happy to help. They treated us and our dog like they’d know us forever, making sure we all were welcomed warmly. All of the staff were superb, Lisa and Daniel were exceptionally kind professional throughout. The hotel has incredible facilities for dogs & children alike, everywhere you turn little guests have been considered and catered for. I’m excited to come back again and visit with friends and their kids. The spa facilities were fantastic and the treatments were delightful, and the view from the outdoor pool has was magic! The rooms have a rustic charm and offer everything you need and more (the pillows are amazing!!!) By far the best dog & child friendly hotel I have ever stayed in, so if you are travelling with either it’s a must! And if your not, book midweek outside of school holidays and you’ll have the place to yourself.
