Went here as it is the nearest Travelodge . The receptionist was great - very helpful in sorting out a problem which we were unable to do with the online so called customer services or by phone to the so called customer services. This company feels the need to charge for calling them . Would NOT use them again

If you have the room (family room) above reception or next too then be ready to deal with at night the main doors to Travelodge slamming at night when reception is shut. Also the room smells of stale smoke and not surprisingly when the smoking area is again right outside reception, where you can also get the inconsiderate stayers talking and gossiping loud at 12am onwards. Also the pillows where are hard and lumpy. A extremely poor night sleep.

the room is disgusting considering how much we paid! it has mould growing on the walls and stinks of dampness as soon as you walk in which is most probably a big health hazard. there’s what looks like sick stains on the carpet and there was hair in the bath and what looked like a bogey wiped on a brand new toilet roll. The reception also stinks of smoke and the service was TERRIBLE

DO NOT book online here. We needed an early check-in for a wedding and after confirming the option and booking online, it did not show on our confirmation, so I called customer services and they said our only option was to cancel the booking and receive no refund. Terrible website and customer services were appalling, will now have to take further action to receive our money back on promised services due to faulty systems and incompetent employees.

Have stayed here a few times but this weekend was probably our last. On arrival on Friday evening we were met with the receptionist sitting in her car at the entrance having a smoke. When we got into the room which was located above the main entrance and a family room, not the double we ordered we walked in to room that smelt heavily of Chinese food!!. We were tired and decided to just open the windows. We we went out for something to eat to note the receptionist sat at her car having another smoke. At 10pm the noise in the car park area was horrendous with me looking out of the window to see a group across the car park in their cars with loud music!!! Above continued until 2am with the chances of sleeping being pretty low. I looked out of the window to see them using disco lights. We paid for a hotel and expected to be able to at least be able to sleep. So disappointed as we have been regular users of travelodge.

Although not in Bath . Convenient location under 10 miles out and cheaper room rates .

Staff were lovely and helpful, room was clean but the floor boards of the room above meant that no sleep was had due to the constant creaking of people walking about. Don't have a ground floor room.

Stayed here with my granddaughter. Room spotless, staff pleasant and helpful. Breakfast box good but would suggest something other than pain au chocolate, not very nice cold. Other than that minor detail a good hotel.

It's a bit isolated but the hotel itself is fine - I would use it again if I need a hotel in that area.

I had my vehicle vandalised and had to stop at services. It was late evening. The price online showed 35 per night the two females on reception charged 161 pounds then increased to 168 for the night. They refused to accept the online prices and I spent all night alone on forecourt of the services as the vehicle was unsafe to sit in due to damage. Shocking customer service !

Rooms were clean and tidy, but lacked plug sockets. Bring a multi-plug if staying more than one night, if you have a lot of devices/appliances. Staff were friendly and helpful and the Starbucks across the carpark was a must, as no café/restaurant in the hotel.

Personally wouldn't stay at a Travelodge but work booked this for me so didn't have a choice. Check-in took less than 10 seconds, friendly enough. Had a family room which was spacious. However, room had a disgusting smell which eventually disappeared. Overall it was clean and pleasant. Bathroom came with a bath as well. Wifi is not free incase you weren't aware. £3 for 24 hours.

It's not a five star hotel but it's perfect for a stop over and lots to hand on the door step, even a star bucks opposite. Clean and tidy with no issues.

I have stayed here in the past. Rooms are nicer now. Usb sockets by the bed too. A really good sleep. Comfortable and clean. Good shower

Great place to stay. Reasonably priced rooms. Free parking. Service station with M&S food sold and Starbucks on site. Katie and her team looked after us really well during our stay. The rooms have been recently refurbished to a high standard. Comfortable beds and great decor. Look forward to returning again soon.

Rough & rugged rooms. I paid extra for the internet but it never worked. Staff at reception didn't seem to know how to fix it, & told me to phone somewhere else to try remedy the problem. Pity, as location is ok. With a bit of tender loving care, it would've been ok

Very friendly staff, Starbucks & M&S garage all nearby. Basic rooms which were very clean ideal for an overnight.

The best thing about this place is the lady on reception (zilan) she's polite and helpful. There's a premier Inn 10 minutes away

I had to book a room last minute and exactly what I expected, the room was clean and service was good, there is a main road very close so not quiet but it's not a place you book if you are looking for the bells and whistles.

Great Location, Nice TV, Good Parking, Decent Bed. Main Issues: Not Worth £100+ A Night For A Very Worn Out Hotel That Smells Musty Throughout Rooms & Corridors. Carpet Worn Out Soo Badly Its Turned Orange. Lighting Very Poor, Cleaning Just Below Satisfactory (Hotel Room Floor & Bathroom Hardly Clean, Large Spider Crawled Underneath The Door Because Of This 😭), Receptionist Looked Very Unwell On Check In, Could Hear A Dog Barking On Ground Floor Rooms. NEEDS A COMPLETE REFURBISHMENT!!!

Difficult to describe, as you know exactly what it is! Didn't disappoint. Great spot, good facilities on site, basic and simple and very well run.

Friendly helpful staff. Very late check-in is why we booked. Plenty of free parking. Room a good size and comfortable: hotel rather worn in places. Breakfast rather meh. Costa and petrol station and shop very close. Price not competitive: there's better accommodation nearby for same/less but Travelodge very flexible. Extending our stay was a nightmare: neither website or phone booking (beware extra charges by phone) were easy - dropped to 3-star rating due to that.

Seems after getting back hidden charges were applied. No communication from staff and no one replies by email. Overall quite annoyed by the unprofessional operations so reduced my star review to 2 stars.

Well located for visiting Bath, rooms were comfortable and quiet, useful having the Starbucks next door.

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice hot powerful shower. Didn't sleep well the first night because I was opposite the storeroom and it's door banged shut about 8 times between around 2am to 4 am.
