Great place to visit! Especially to stay in the new hotel which is currently in progress. Summer 2023 you would be able to book a stay in the hotel with perfect view of the pitch. Windows 🪟 are from floor to the top 🔝 and full width of the room!

Home of Lancashire County Cricket Club and used for England International Cricket Matches, Tests, ODI, T20 matches and The Hundred. Another test grounds visited and ticked off. Plenty of bars and food outlets, could do with more toilet facilities when it's a full house.

I came to see The Arctic Monkeys. The whole event was incredibly well organised & felt really safe. There wasn't even long queues for food & drinks. The Arctic Monkeys were amazing obviously but yeah ... The venue really helped the experience for sure!

Has to be up there with the best cricket grounds in the country. The developments which turned the square and introduced the new point have really taken it to the top level. All stands give excellent viewpoints, the party stand is the best atmosphere wise whatever the format. Beer and food prices are as you'd expect for the cricket. Plenty of seating by the food vendors if you want to eat there rather than in your seat. Sometimes musicians on a small stage behind the party stand too. Great place to take in a game.

Fantastic day spent watching red hot chilli peppers , well worth the wait in the queues and blistering heat. Great venue , very expensive but at a concert you expect that. Really good fun and everyone there was in good spirits and no idiots. Awesome stuff

I've attended a few international cricket matches here, and it's a lovely ground. Probably my second favorite cricket ground after Edgbaston. There's currently some building work going on as can be seen in the pictures, I'm sure it will be even better when it's finished. I have also parked here occasionally when heading to the football up the road. Last time it cost me £10, but it may have increased since.

What a place to watch a match of cricket, the seatings, the atmosphere and the match quality is amazing, one of the best cricket stadiums in the UK and possibly in the WORLD.

Food and drink: There were plenty of options for food and drink at Old Trafford, with everything from traditional cricket fare like pies and burgers to more modern options like pizza and Mexican food. There were also plenty of bars and kiosks selling drinks, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Activities for kids: There were also plenty of activities for kids at Old Trafford, including face painting, bouncy castles, and a kids' cricket zone. This made it a great place to take the family to watch a cricket match. Entertainment in between games: There was also plenty of entertainment in between games at Old Trafford, including live music, DJ sets, and Live music. This helped to keep the atmosphere lively and made the whole experience more enjoyable. View: My view of the matches was perfect with no restricted view at all. I could see the whole pitch clearly and was able to follow the action easily. Overall experience: I had a great time watching The Hundred at Old Trafford. The facilities were excellent, the atmosphere was lively, and the cricket was exciting. I would definitely recommend Old Trafford as a venue for watching cricket. I was also happy to see that Manchester Originals played Southern Brave. Both games were very one sided with Southern Brave coming out as the winners

Great atmosphere for the cricket! Easy hassle free entry and entry well signed. Good transportation links. Lots of bars and food stalls about. Bit pricey but you expect that. Lots of staff about and some entertainment for the kids as well. There's very litter cover from the elements depending on seating and the direction of sunlight/ wind/ rain.

One of the popular cricket grounds in the UK. Nice facilities & good views of the ground from the stands. Parking is a bit hard to find on event days.

Very clean, modern, quiet, and comfortable hotel. If you book a room overlooking the cricket ground, you truly have an expansive view of the field and stadium. My room was spotless. The simple breakfast buffet ticked all the boxes (fruit, juices, full English breakfast, automatic espresso machines etc) and all the staff were very polite and very pleasant. Though there's not much in the way of restaurants surrounding the hotel, but it's right on the tram line into the city center. I always enjoy my meals at a nearby restaurant MERZEE, definitely a great place for Indian Pakistani and Mediterranean cuisine. In fact one of the best places in the world. Yes, I have been there in most of the best places all around the world. There’s an atmosphere of peace and quiet all around, especially since there’s no games going on here around this time. Definitely a very pleasant stay and I would absolutely choose this hotel again , especially during some important games, whenever I return to the area. Thanks again.

We visited for a t20 between Eng vs NZ on a Friday with family and friends. It was a great experience overall. The stadium isn’t huge but looks amazing. We had great seats next to the home team locker room and hence got great photos. In the end the superstars stayed around to give the enthusiastic kid in our group a lot of autographs.

A bit disappointed to be honest, it was an awful day weather wise. Didn't get to see much actual cricket, we saw about 2 and a quarter hours play. Really enjoyed the cricket that we saw. It was just the weather that spoilt it

Great venue for cricket. Party stand is a must. Downside though have to be the toilets. Not enough. Bars could be marshalled better to ensure all are used rather than the ones nearest to the stands. One bar had staff twiddling their thumbs. Not their fault, marshalls should have directed people on queues.

Went for England vs NZ 20/20 and it was great. Good for families too with all the extras they have in the family area such as bowling and archery. Great atmosphere and well managed. No issues at all.

Old Trafford is a cricket ground in Old Trafford, Greater Manchester, England. It opened in 1857 as the home of Manchester Cricket Club and has been the home of Lancashire County Cricket Club since 1864. From 2013 onwards it has been known as Emirates Old Trafford due to a sponsorship deal with the Emirates airline. We have been to Old Trafford cricket ground lots of times, but sadly never to watch the cricket. The cricket ground is only a five-minute walk away from the Old Trafford football stadium and when we went to watch Manchester United FC we often parked our car at the cricket ground. In 2020 the Old Trafford cricket ground was chosen as one of two biosecure venues, alongside the Ageas Bowl, for the tours involving West Indies and Pakistan that were regulated due to the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic.

A visit to the Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground which was a good experience to watch the T20 fixture of Lancashire vs Northamptonshire Steelbacks. Good provision of food and drink choices though a bit pricey! Decent views of the pitch as can be seen from the pictures attached and uploaded. If driving plenty of unofficial parking areas in the vicinity of the ground.

Great afternoon watching the hundred. Excellent seats, good size, plenty of leg room (I'm over 6 foot) and in shade. It was a very hot day. If you're booking then blocks E1 - 6 are shaded. Plenty of choice of food and drink. Will definitely go again for one day match. Very good stewarding and friendly staff. Even after the match they got us on the tram really quickly and efficiently considering the amount of people wanting to catch them.

Quite a big and good looking ground when I went there for India vs West Indies last year but there were ticks/mites all over the seats which caused rashes and itchiness all over the body..

Fantastic ground, easily accessed, and a great atmosphere, despitethe weather. Loses a star because it was not possible to pay cash for ANY of the food or drink on offer, and the prices of both were scandalous - £9 for a pastie and £4.60 for a coffee?! It's Manchester, not London!!!!!!!!!!

Attended The point Christmas Event. Drinks reception lovely,Venue beautifully decorated. Pate was nice. Turkey dinner lacked flavour. No pigs in blankets or Yorkshire Pudding. No condiments on table. Pudding was like a sticky toffee was lovely. Band was fantastic & host. Need to brush on the menu, not enough choice for the cost of £65.00 Lovely event but food let's it down

Great place for a gig. Plenty of space, easy to get too, no fuss getting in. Bar was quick but toilets were a bit of a mess but got there quite quick considering. Sound quality was great, the floor was flat and clean, it felt safe despite the crazy amount of people, easy to find your way around. Getting out was a nightmare though, the area just can't cope with the influx of people, suprisingly seen as MUFC is round the corner which sees that many people on a regular basis.

Sadly the T20 blast Roses game was called off due to rain. But I still enjoyed my first visit to Old Trafford. Great ground and facilities, good food choices and some limited but talented entertainment. Looking forward to returning soon to see some action. The only negative was one jobsworth steward asking a spectator to deflate a not very large inflatable giraffe ( the mascot of our great club!) in BU stand...Fun police gone mad 😠. The game hadn't started it was raining and there were no spectators in the vicinity. Why???

The place is awesome. It's easy to accessible from old Trafford tram Station. There is plenty of space for amenities and no doubt an amazing view.

Super experience at The Hundred to watch Manchester Originals. Great view from E1 Row 2 seat 27 Metro link took us right to the ground. Lots to do when inside . Superb variety of food and drink outlets inside the stadium. Would definitely recommend a match at Old Trafford CC.

Great win for Lancashire Lightning. However, the food was the worst I have ever had anywhere. Burger company awful. Why on earth the club let's them operate there. £9 for the burger and £8 for a small tray of chip. I could not justify the chips.

There are very few better sights in sport than Old Trafford on a bright sunny morning, the redevelopment over the last few years has absolutely transformed the place and made it one of the most dramatic and engaging places to watch sport in the UK outside London. The continued redevelopment does spoil match days though; every year without fail it's become harder and harder to get into and out of the ground with 2022 the worst so far. Getting into stand B from the recommended gate involves doing almost a full circle of the ground. Similarly, leaving at the close of play takes about 15 minutes, and you have to brave appalling congestion under the temporary stand to do so. In short, great once you're in but access and egress is terrible.

It was a very thrilling experience! I went there to see a Hundred game and loved it. It is very well kept and accessable due to the tram stop right outside. If you're are cricket fan this is the place for you!

Great cricket ground and good views from the seats (Fosters Stand). Lots of water refill stations. Staff were all super friendly and well trained. Only downside is that one stand is under construction, so part of the stadium is currently blocked off

Fantastic venue although extremely busy. Security were prompt, enabling the crowd to enter swiftly. Quick to get served at the bar, £6.70 cider, £6.50 Lager. Ran out of soft drinks before headliner.

Well worth the visit - T20 Blast on a Sunday afternoon with a fabulous atmosphere and great facilities. One thing to be aware of - they don't allow cans of drinks in the ground! My son had 4 cans of Pepsi Max confiscated at the gate!

Great cricket ground. Well organised entry, decent seat and view. Parked at the football ground (N2) and reached here in 10 minutes but seemed plenty of other options locally. Food and drink the usual high prices and glad we took some bits. Some building work going on so will be nice to visit when it's all complete. Getting away afterwards was pretty good too.

It opened in 1857 as the home of Manchester Cricket Club and has been the home of Lancashire County Cricket Club since 1864. From 2013 onwards it has been known as Emirates Old Trafford due to a sponsorship deal with the Emirates airline. Old Trafford is England's second oldest Test venue after The Oval and hosted the first Ashes Test in England in July 1884. The venue has hosted the Cricket World Cup five times (1975, 1979, 1983, 1999 and 2019). Old Trafford holds the record for both most World Cup matches hosted (17) and most semi-finals hosted (5).

Came here for the Hundred yesterday and was really impressed with the stadium. Modern facilities and super friendly and helpful staff. The experience was unmatched and there were so many activities for the kids which helped to make my son's experience so much more fun. Just a note, it didn't say on the website at the time I booked, not sure if it does now, but there's construction going on between Block A and Block B which means you have to walk all the way around the stadium if you're in Block B or C like we were, so be wary of that if you struggle to walk long distances when you book your tickets.
