Refused to reserve lane for disabled children home, was refused as they needed upfront payment. However children has cash as pocket money. Asked to speak to senior and was told they were too busy. Awful service.

Based inside the red dragon center with plenty of other establishments around it, free parking in the large car park with validation and a 3 minute walk from the nearest train station. Inside you will also find a large arcade with many new games and lots of claw machine type games You will also find a Diner, Bar and pool tables. VIP lanes are also available.

Was fairly busy for a Wednesday but had a great time playing 2 games between 3 people, lasted about an hour and the arcade had a few fun games too.

Amazing place to visit! Loads of things to do inside other than bowling, you have a arcade games, drinks bar and a place to have food! Definitely recommend

Booked online £11.50pp for 3 games. Which is good value I think for bowling. Games lasted 4 of us 2 hours which I think is good, there's never any rush just play your games and enjoy yourself. The place was the usual you would expect from a bowling establishment. I like the ability to change names, add barriers with the interactive touch screen, if you want to order anything you can either press the service call button or order to your lane through the QR code which makes everything really easy and simple. Well worth a visit and a nice arcade to enjoy before or after.

Good fun a round of bowling, great atmosphere and reasonably priced food & drinks. The staff bring it over to the bowling area which is a nice bonus. Nice little arcade and pool tables too. Would be 5* stars but the one barrier stayed up the whole time of our game, we mentioned this to staff but they said there was nothing that could be done.

Kids had a great first time bowling. Just disappointed as I promised they could go in the arcades and they got closed for maintenance in the middle of the day??

I don’t usually write reviews for places but excellent customer service. Brought my kids here on Sunday last weekend. One of the team members was very helpful, you don’t get that often when going to places! His name was Daniel, nice chap. Great place for bowling and plenty of games in the arcade, the kids didn’t want to leave! Would 100% recommend.

Pre booked VIP and arrived 15 minutes early as requested and had to keep re joining the queue as there was no lanes available. Not a problem as it was a Saturday afternoon and can understand as it was busy. Finally got to bowl and had a great time with my daughter being her first time bowling. We finished 2 games in 40 minutes which I thought was fairly good. My partner took my daughter to wash her hands whilst I waited at the alley. I was approached by a member of staff asking me to leave. I think this was out of order as we was late starting and finished bowling within 40 minutes.

Its great but a bit on the expensive side. Bowling not cheap but there again nothing is these days. Great staff and wide variety of games

Excellent customer service - we got stuck in rugby international traffic on the way there and missed our time slot. The very helpful woman on the phone changed our booking to a later time slot without making any fuss about it which was very appreciated

Took the kids for bowling but was super busy. I couldn't get a bowling alley, so they just played in the arcades.. one thing that really bothered me was alcohol glasses and drink glasses just left anywhere and everywhere. There were a lot of kids about that could get hold of these cups..

Really lovely modern bowling alley. Lived up to the Hollywood Bowl standard that you’d expect. The arcade area was lovely and well kept, with a good selection of arcade games of all varieties. The bowling alleys were clean and bright. Lovely place to kill a few hours - would definitely come back!

New pins doesn't feel good to play, I get why you've used string for the pins as it's easier to set them back up. But just ruins the game.. mens cubicle light hasn't been fixed for months either. Besides that staff are great, and helpful.

Centrally located in Cardiff Bay, this bowling alley has ample free parking. There are twenty lanes, a bar with pool, an amusement area plus a dinning area. I went o a Friday and precbooked a drinks package with bowling which was good value for money.

Visited here a few times during lockdown and whilst the restrictions did make it a bit awkward, we all had a great time. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, we had a few games of bowling, played on the arcades and pool tables. All in all a great day out! Keep up the good work!

Had a teen party for my daughter staff when brilliant and the food was very nice my daughter we very happy

Enjoyed a great game with the family. Toilets out of order at time of visit. Disappointing.

Popped in to play some arcade games, the place was full of happy and excited kids and the food smelled wonderful.

I have been here before and always have a good time but yesterday I went for my birthday and it exceeded my expectations! The staff couldn’t do enough to keep us happy and even upgraded us to VIP! The staff are a credit and I can’t thank them enough for making my birthday one to remember!

Love Hollywood bowl and the arcade for my 5 year old son. It's just a shame that bowling costs an arm and a leg and most of the machines in the arcade never pay out the tickets
