Our second visit to this lovely theatre but this time we were seated end of row EE, very front stalls, best seats we thought. Unfortunately, this was close enough to hear the performer directly but also underneath the speakers 20 feet above us which repeated him a split second later. Very poor and lazy sound experience which spoiled enjoyment of a favourite comedian. Suggest choose seats in the body of the auditorium where everyone had a great experience.

28th Dec. At this fabulous theater for Les Miserables. Would definitely recommend. No bag or ticket check just pointed in the right direction to our seats.

Theatre is a wonderful space ..... Six, is a fantastic upbeat and funny show. Theatre staff leave a lot to be desired ..... totally clueless and more interested in conversations amongst themselves.

Went to a show bought expensive tickets. Even though it wasn't stated restricted viewing we could only see half the stage. Spoilt evening. When I complained I was sent an email saying I should have bought a ticket front centre for the best view. Terrible way to treat customers. If I could give minus stars I would.

We saw sister act here and throughly enjoyed the performance. The only real issue we had with the whole venue was when the show finished. There was a lot of confusion and disorganisation and it was manic trying to leave. I understand there's a lot of people all wanting to leave at the same time but I think it coukd be organised a bit better to make the exit procedure smoother. Also, if you park in the multistory car park then expect a wait to get out. There is another ticket machine just down a few stairs which no one was using when we were there but then actually getting out of the car park took around 20 mins.... and we were only on the 3rd level. My advice would be park as low and close to the exit as poss and make use of the other ticket machines.

Amazing place to be. La Traviata by Verdi was awesome. Definetly I shall return.

A beautiful, natural looking, wood adorned theatre, wonderful viewing from any part of the theatre. Comfortable seating and enough leg room, even for tall people like myself. Friendly and helpful staff. Coffee shop/bar on bottom level sells amazing pastries etc..

Beautiful impressive venue. Great staff. Theatre is brilliant if you're sat at the front or over 6 foot tall, otherwise it's a couple of hours of leaning side to side playing dodge the head in front. Would only go here again if paying for a box, stalls, or front row seat.

Absolutely love this place - so much beauty everywhere you look & the staff are always so kind! Despite the theatre being the 2nd biggest in Europe it feels roomy but not too big it feels intimate.

Lovely theatre! Very comfortable. Friendly staff. Could do with more toilets to avoid long queues especially when there are Childrens shows.

I recently enjoyed a sensational afternoon and evening at the Donald Gordon Theatre in the Millennium Centre, attending the delightful performance of "I Should Be So Lucky" with my mum. The entire experience was nothing short of a five-star treat! From the moment we stepped into the theatre, the staff's warm welcome set the tone for a seamless and enjoyable experience. The modern and acoustically impeccable Donald Gordon Theatre provided a charming setting for the show, making every seat an ideal spot to take in the performance. "I Should Be So Lucky" was an absolute delight! The flawless execution of the production, combined with the perfect blend of humor and heart, left the audience in awe. Singing along with my mum, we created lasting memories during this heartwarming afternoon and evening. The state-of-the-art facilities and impeccable service at Donald Gordon Theatre enhanced our overall enjoyment of the experience. For a top-notch theatre experience in the afternoon or evening, the Donald Gordon Theatre is the perfect choice. "I Should Be So Lucky" made for a perfect daytime and evening outing, and I'm eagerly anticipating future outstanding performances at this exceptional venue!

Decent enough setup and the sound quality was good within the theatre, visibility good. However, the seats are absolutely awful. There’s no excuse for such poor seating. Multiple people around me looked uncomfortable and during the break people were stretching, back cracking and so on. Great venue massively let down by lack of comfort.

Lovely, modern venue. Spacious seating and spaces. Close to amenities of Cardiff bay and the train station.

My Fair Lady. Great show. Ending was a bit weird compared to the film. Good acting and singing. Get me to the church got the most applause πŸ‘. Had to move as a woman sang every song behind us and her friend rattled a paper bag all through but had much better seats for 2nd half. Loved Ashley from Emmerdale as Colonel Pickering and Adam Woodyatt was good. Higgins and Eliza and the ensemble all had fab voices.

Very comfortable seating, good view of stage good acoustics,. The bar/cafe areas sre adequate, however toilet facilities are somewhat limited. I'm still confused though... Who was Les and why was he miserable? 😁

Modern, comfortable and well laid out so that virtually all the seats had excellent views. Theatre was a wee bit on the cold side though.

Lovely theatre. Good visibility as it’s tiered stalls. I would avoid the seats off centre at the back of the stalls as the floor tapers so you’re sat leaning off to the left or right.

Went to see The Book of Mormon. Did not dissapoint! A great modern theatre, however if you are up in the nosebleeds, take some water. Get your steps in though! I also saw the entrance to the Torchwood site. A water fountain...pfft. Nah. 5 Alan's.

No concessions for disabled while expected to sit on bar style seats brought in if disabled but not in wheelchair. Full price charged for that. Top off

An Evening with Sir Ranulph Fiennes, seeing a true living legend was special, his truly amazing stories narrated by himself were with a very dry humour .

Love the architecture at this place and the thearte is so spacious and roomy compared to older ones. We watched Dreamgirls and it was fantastic. We'll organised and drinks prices were fantastic.

Watching β€œWe Will Rock You” was my first performance at this theatre. Sitting in the front row we had ample leg room. Although most rows looked to have the same, unlike older theatres where it can be cramped. I did hear some people complain their seats were different to what they bought as an extra row had been added. The staff were very friendly & the venue was nice and clean. Looking forward to visiting again in May for SIX: The Musical

Fantastic theatre, very spacious and a perfect view of the stage, we sat in Level 4 Circle, Row A in the middle, the only negative comment I will make is 2 people serving at the bar on this level was not enough, by the time we purchased our drinks, it was time to go back into the 2nd part so felt very rushed!

GREAT looking venue..... shame about the restricted view from my seat in Balcony B and the show, Les Miserables. To my surprise I had to walk out after an hour though I could have left 20 minutes earlier. For me the loud music at the start drowned out the voices of the cast and throughout what I did see, it seemed as if the cast, whether in competition with the music or not, were trying to be heard in Aberystwyth.

Went to see the Titanic musical. A gorgeous theatre with superb acoustics and a well thought layout. From quite far back we had no obstructions and the audio was clear. It didn't however seem best suited for disabled visitors as there are many stairs and small walkways, though lifts and ramps were present in a few areas.

Lovely venue, pleasant surroundings outside, very clean inside and spacious stairs and corridors so there's less of the claustrophobic herding to your seat than in many theatres, plenty of toilets so the queue wasn't bad after the show!
