An above and beyond customer service experience with the negligibly above-average sushi. The highlight of the Wasahi is hands down, their hibachi grill. Their chefs entertained the entire restaurant with vibrant tricks and humorous antics. From a food perspective, the sushi quality will satisfy the average consumers, but not sushi enthusiasts. On the bright side, all the appetizers are moderately cheap, and their rolls prices are on par with the market. The fish/meat quality is pretty good; there were some inconsistent wrap quality and tightness, though. Overall, the experience was adequate and satisfied my sushi craving.

Service was great, we were seated expeditiously and my Bloody Mary was brought within minutes. Their foreign beer selection was also great and delicious. Steak was ordered at medium well and well I can say it was delivered. Chicken was also tender and my sisters raves about the sauce in which is was marinated. All in all we had a great time here celebrating my sister’s birthday even though we did not catch the shrimp with our mouths we much appreciated the show.

We were well received upon arrival but once we were seated at the Hibachi there was a lot of miscommunication among servers. I was not familiar with the menu and even I asked no one bothered to explain it properly. To my surprise I only myself got the Hibachi dish and a Sushi dish for a family of 5 including 3 hungry kids after a long and tiring day. We had to ask another three Sushi dishes for the kids and an extra Hibachi dish for my wife and it meant wait more time to eat. I was expecting good food but soon noticed some undercooked rice. The Hibachi chef was entertaining and I don’t deny it, despite all we enjoyed the moment. Servers should explain their customers better, especially the newer ones.

It's your standard "cooked in front of you" place. The service is good, the chef did a good job. In my opinion, not really worth it for the money. I got the chicken, which was around 23 dollars, and came with rice, a small bowl of soup, and a salad. Paid an extra 1.50 for fried rice. The soup was kind of bland, the salad was drowned in dressing. The chicken and rice were good, although it seemed like more of a vehicle for their sauces. The ginger sauce was very good. All in all, it was quite average. Inoffensive, but not a great meal.

We got there an hour before closing due to a late flight into KC. Staff was very friendly and the food was amazing! We had Steak & Shrimp combos and an amazing egg roll as well! We will be back next time we are in the northland!

A night out with my husband doesn't happen often. We introduced a friend to our favorite sushi spot. As always we got great service and great food. We always feel like friends visiting here instead of customers. It was a wonderful night! Love to sit at the sushi bar and watch the food being prepared. Try your Philadelphia roll with raw salmon instead of smoked- delicious!

I didn't have a hibachi experience, my plates were all served very quickly and I had lovely interactions with both the chef and the hostess. Comforting food and ambiance, and the rice was perfectly warm.

Everything here was good and I would have given them a 5 star had it not been for our server! She was clearly annoyed when I asked her a simple question! Was on her phone the whole time and would just rarely check on us. And when she did check on us she just seemed annoyed! Keep in mind we were sitting on the hibachi side and we got sat with this lovely family! I went ahead a tipped our hibachi cook and when our server found out she was clearly mad about that complaining about how she has to share her tips with him but he didn’t! Her vibe just threw our whole mood off so we literally took all our food to go just to leave and not have to hear her ranting about the tip! FYI yes I did tip her!
