👍👍 Dr. Lewis is very personable, easy to talk to. The facility is always clean, friendly nurses and staff. The lady that does my lab work is great! I'm difficult to get blood from and she is very patient and thorough. People often mention appointment, time, staff, great, receptionist, care, didn,

Dr Ferguson is a very caring man. He is very knowledgeable about what I need to feel better or how to correct what is medically wrong. The staff is friendly and also helpful. I have been a patient of College Park Family Care (mostly this location) for over 45 years. I would recommend this staff everytime.

The front office is a mess. I had an appointment for a yearly visit to see Dr.Lewis. I had their text messages and voicemails to confirming my appointment. Then I got there they said I didn't have an appointment. They said " I was wrong" even though I had proof. Finally a manager told me I was accidentally deleted to make room for another patient at that time slot. I feel like accidents happen but they handled things so inappropriately. I will never go back.

Dr. Kerry was amazing and helped us get to the bottom of what was going on with our 3 year old. However, the receptionist was very rude, short with my husband because she had to enter in a new insurance card and we were slowing her down while trying to Wrangle an active three-year-old. Also had the same receptionist call us 30 minutes prior to appointment saying we didn't have an appointment and scheduled a different appointment at a different location. Only to be called by a different receptionist and told that we in fact did have the original appointment we booked online. We were 2 minutes late getting to the appointment due to having to change everything around again and was hoping for a little acknowledgment from the receptionist who had made the error in the 1st place, instead she was extremely cold, unapologetic & ignored my husband at 1 point after being asked a question.Very disappointing because we love College Park and this was our 1st experience at the Murlen location due to our regular doctor being fully booked for a month.

I have been a patient with Dr. Ferguson for several years and he has always provided excellent care! I have some unique health issues and he stays on top of them and takes proactive action whenever I have any problems. I would recommend him for your health care needs!

This review has nothing to do with the doctors, nurses or lab employees at this practice they are wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone. That being said the front desk is awful, almost bad enough to no longer use this practice. Twice now I have checked in and waited for 45 minutes plus after my appointment time to be taken back. Today I had an appointment at 10:10 I arrived at 10:05 and went to check in and the front desk receptionist took my info figured everything was good. She was distracted giggling with what looked like a medical sales rep or something talking about calling her next week etc, so distracted she didn’t check me in for 40 minutes!! I waited in the lobby with no explanation on why everyone who was coming in after me was going before me so I finally went up and checked because I had waited so long I genuinely thought maybe I had my appointment time wrong turns out she was so distracted she just didn’t submit my check in info but she didn’t tell me that she told the nurse who was extremely apologetic which I appreciated even though it was not her fault at all. Pretty ridiculous honestly. It’s also so hard to get ahold of someone on the phone here which I think is odd because in my time I spent waiting in the lobby it seems like they have enough free time to answer the phone. There is one good receptionist I wish I knew her name so I didn’t have to clump her in with the bad. Overall this place needs some serious work on the front end.

I've gone to College Park (Mur-Len) for years and been generally pleased. However, my most recent visit felt dehumanizing. There is a literal red light/green light at the check-in desk: green means you're allowed to speak to the person sitting there, and red means they're busy so don't talk. Is this really what society has come to? Are we as a general population so stupid and careless that we need this regulation? Heaven help us. When I was "allowed to speak," I was asked rapid-fire questions in a monotone manner worthy of a skit on SNL. You know, that bored, slightly annoyed "customer service" tone? Ugh. The walls in the patient room I visited were peppered with various policy and procedure warnings. Among them: If you're here for Matter A and bring up Matter B during your visit, you may incur additional charges. God forbid you'd want to discuss more than one topic with your doctor! I understand the principle behind this and know that it is driven by the insurance companies. Nonetheless, the multiple tacky warnings posted all around come across as more menacing than caring. And then there's the actual care. I've always respected my doctor and still do. In the past, I've felt "heard" by him, but not this time. My complaint doesn't lie with him as much as with the practice. It felt very much like doctor was talking as fast as he could, rushing to stay on schedule AND on agenda, pushing whatever topics pertained to my age group even though those topics weren't what I wanted to ask about. I felt so much that he was rushing to check off all the boxes that were mandated for him, that I gave up on asking about some of the things I had wanted to discuss. Bottom line, my recent experience was bad enough that, after years with CPFC, I'm ready to find a different practice -- one that is a little more focused on care and a little less focused on business. Given the state of things in this (post?) pandemic era, I may be chasing a unicorn.

Dr Michael Ferguson and his staff are by far the best healthcare providers I have ever dealt with in my entire life! His demeanor and attentive manner let you know he truly cares about your well being. The BEST!

Scheduled an online appointment for a certain date and time. I confirmed the appointment by text reply, but when I came in to the office I was originally told I didn’t have an appointment that day for 2:20 and when I showed I confirmed it, they said it was a 4:00 visit and that I cancelled it. This was not true. I had to come back the next day to see the doctor. Luckily I am retired and didn’t miss hours at work either day. Not sure of the mix up, but I will always call from now on to confirm. Seemed to be an IT issue, but they couldn’t confirm that for me.

I have been going there for 20 + years! Every appointment has been a blessed experience . Staff is always smiling friendly and so positive!! The office is clean and always smells nice! I think it would be hard to find a group of compassionate professionals as great as this office has!!!

I use to say a 5 star rating. But since my daughter and i have left many messages and have been trying to get a call back for weeks now, i have yo officially give it a lower rating and look for a new clinic.
