We had a lovely 2 night stay here with a treatment each. The pool, hot tub and sauna are very relaxing and quiet. I also had a massage and facial and it was wonderful. The staff are amazing and so friendly and the facilities are great. Such an uplifting way to start the year. Will definitely be back!

We visited Losehill House for the morning spa package, which included use of the pool facilities, a treatment, a hot drink and a two course lunch in the restaurant. I am happy to say that the experience was great, especially the lunch which we were very impressed with! The pool is very small, but access seemed to be managed well to limit numbers using the facility and we had it to ourselves for half of our allotted slot. The outdoor hot tub was comfy and warm. The steam room was very small, but a great level of steam and nicely scented. The changing rooms were small making it difficult to accommodate more than 2 people which there were at change over times. The building itself is very beautifully and traditionally decorated with a lovely outlook over to the fields and hills. Our spa treatments were great and very relaxing. Lunch was delicious, meticulously presented and served professionally. We would love to visit again for their midweek lunch. All in all a good value experience that was thoroughly enjoyed.

Delightful. Third visit. If anything the food is even better this time. Great team. Recommended. My wife says the back massages are great- good proper massages. Thank you- we look forward to our fourth visit. Really convenient for a walk up Mam Tor. And Lose Hill is right next door and worth the wander up.

What an amazing place. Did a Spa Break for two there and worth every penny. Some of the best food we've ever had, and even though it seemed way too fancy for us they made us feel so welcome there, credit to all the lovely staff. Beautiful views (especially from the Hot Tub) and the massages were brilliant, the masseuse Lisa was amazing

We're yet to stay at Losehill but will be doing so in June and will add a full review then. For now though I wanted to thank the owner and management for resolving what had originally been an unsatisfactory experience with our booking. Paul and his team took on board our concerns regarding a change of date for our stay and my fiance and I are very much looking forward to spending a night at the hotel and enjoying the spa too. It's always a good sign when the owner gets involved to ensure their customers are happy, and I'm sure we'll have a great break at Losehill.

If you are looking for peace, then Losehill House is not your place. There is no quiet place to sit and there's a lot of noise from lunch guests. We addressed this at the reception, but they said they couldn't do anything about it. As a result, we decided to look for another hotel. Unfortunately, there was no flexibility at Losehill House, and we did not receive a refund for the 3 nights we had booked. Do not go here if you are looking for peace and quiet. If you do decide to go, do not book room 14. The smell of sewage comes through the pipe into your hotel room when the windows are open.

I visited losehill house with my mum for her birthday and we were not disappointed, the rooms were stunning lots of space comfortable beds very clean and tidy and lots of drink selection to choose from, the food in the restaurant was fantastic quality and a great menu to choose from a great drinks selection at the bar also, really lovely staff who were very helpful throughout and made our stay magical. The Spa facilities were good but was a little disappointed that the pool wasn't heated. I will definitely be visiting again as our overall stay was fabulous

I don't know where to start just wow. My partner and I aren't having a holiday this year so we decided to have a little retreat. I bought a midweek stay from their website and surprised my partner. We were a bit out of place rocking up in a Slipknot shirt but the room was lovely, bed was HUGE and I immediately had a great nap. Lovely spacious bathroom and the view was incredible. We went for spa treatments and they were wonderful. I also had a facial which was detoxing and turned me pink for a few days but everyone said I was glowing after. The sauna and hot tub were great, and the pool was empty when we used it, and nice and toasty. We got ready and went for the fanciest meal I've ever had at Grafene. I was SHOCKED to hear some snobs complaining because we thought everything was incredible, the pictures speak for themselves. The service was out of this world at dinner and at breakfast which was equally as delicious. As a couple who don't drive, the trek there from the station was alright but it was raining, but when we left it was a lovely sunny day and we enjoyed our stroll in nature and stopped for tea in a local cafe as well. I couldn't recommend enough and I will be back when I can justify the treat, not that anything is overpriced.

I had a half day spar package. Nice pool and facilities. Food fantastic. Massage not soo good. A skilled guy but he was very forthcoming with his political views. Not so much relaxing as a wind up.

We went here for a birthday meal with a group of friends. The food was lovely and the staff were really attentive and looked after us very well. Expensive but as a special occasion it is great

Love this place! Second time I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Losehill House for half a spa day. I wanted to especially mention my therapist Lisa who worked her magic on my very stiff/knotted back. She was very knowledgeable & put me at ease, I couldn’t recommend her more. The food as always is amazing. Can’t wait to visit again. Lovely place & staff.

On Monday 17th July 2023, six of us came for a birthday party lunch for my sister. The staff made us feel very welcome and relaxed in the restaurant. Our food was served to us in a very timely manner - small portions for the Starters and Mains, but all very delicious. One lady in particular made the occasion very special. I think her name was Stephanie? Please forgive me if I got your name wrong! She talked with Uncle John about tennis - since Wimbledon finished recently at the time - and she took lovely pictures of us at the table! Please give her a special commendation from us. From this experience, we will be more than happy to come back for more family gatherings in the future. 😊 God bless and best wishes from Liz, Eddie, Catherine, John, Ann and Christine.

We stayed some years ago so don’t take this review too seriously. Hotel is wonderfully located. Nice room but the dining experience was ruined by noisy tables that weren’t controlled by staff. So if you’re looking for a quiet, refined evening maybe look elsewhere

Plush anniversary stop mid way through a 2day hike. V talented and accommodating chef to dietary needs. Stunning setting, especially the views from the hot tub.

We've just had a mini break at Losehill and thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely picturesque location in the Peak District. The spa was very welcome, the evening meal was amazing, but most of all we would like to thank the staff. Every staff member we met (and there were quite a few) was extremely helpful, friendly and professional; they all really helped contribute to a wonderful break, and are a great credit to the hotel.

We got married at Losehill house on Saturday and it was the perfect day! Jules and the team made the whole day run so smoothly and everything we asked for was never a problem they bought our dream wedding to life! Everyone has commented on how amazing the venue, food and team was we can’t recommend Losehill enough! Thank you so much again

Beautiful small hotel tucked away at the end of a single track lane in the middle of nowhere. Stunning views of the Peak District hills. Fantastic restaurant although portions were tiny. However we forgave them because the quality and service was excellent 👌

We struggled to see how this is a ‘spa hotel’ given the tiny six person hot tub which realistically is too snug for six people. Given how many other guests were waiting for it, we felt we should only have ten minutes in it before getting out to allow others in during our allocated one hour slot. This hotel was nice but the hefty price tag is nowhere near worth it. We went on the day we got married and they gave us a bar of chocolate to say congratulations. Wow, thanks guys.

This hotel delights me every visit, an air of subtle luxury, a really wonderful team who deliver thoughtful and appropriately attentive service, fine dining showcases seasonal produce, and a stunning setting if you like muddy walks and a shortcut to the dale. Electric car charging possible but could be better. The pool is nice for a dip too, the hot tub is great after a day of stomping up hills.

Had a spa experience with my partner was amazing value for money from start to finish. For the price we paid, we had dedicated service, all of the spa facilities, a soothing massage to suit (they even upgraded mine as Face and Body Discovery wasn't really for men), and a delicious 2-course lunch. With wonderful views to accompany the above, it's safe to say that we will come back. Thank you so much!

Lovely night away for my husband's birthday. The food is fabulous, all the staff very friendly, a great hotel. The highlight of the stay was finding two skinny-dippers in the pool! 😳 We will talk about that for a long time 🤣

My friend and I enjoyed a most delicious lunch. This was my third visit and each has been a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service excellent, the surroundings beautiful. I can't wait to go again!

Phenomenal location, service was the best I've experienced. Breakfast and dinner are provided on-site (additional charge, about $60 per person). Loosehill House is about a mile from the nearest bus and train stop, so if you have a lot of luggage, you may need to arrange transport. Very secluded, feels almost like stepping into the Shire from Lord of the Rings.

I wish we'd been there for longer than one night. Our breakfast was fabulous, the view is stunning (I love a sheep in the next field.) I was there for a wedding and the catering was wonderful, all the vegan, gluten-free and other options were served accurately and tastily.

Great place for a totally relaxing overnight break or a few days away. We booked an offer which included use of the spa facilities as well as 3 course dinner and full breakfast. Dinner was excellent. The house has lovely grounds where you can sit and relax and the hot tub looks onto open countryside which is a pretty nice way to spend a bit of time.

Stayed here for the weekend to celebrate our 10th anniversary in 2018. We even splashed out on the bridal suite. High standard of food in a refined setting. Spa facilities very smart, but not extensive. My wife and I were very pleased with it though. There is a pool, sauna and steam room so for us that's enough. For me the best feature is the outdoor hot tub with outstanding views of the peak district. Very special indeed.

A truly wonderful hotel with excellent facilities.... swimming pool, hot tub etc. We received a warm welcome but car parking was very 'tight'. We had a suite which accommodated 3 adults & my 8month old grandson well. Food was of an excellent standard & 7 course tasty menu was amazing. Wine is very expensive £47 for a bottle of Sancere! We all enjoyed our chosen spa treatments given by friendly staff. Would highly recommend a stay here, especially, if you love to walk in the area. Thank you, Jacqueline Willan

Losehill is a really great place to escape the busy city life. The weather for us when we went was good so we used the spa facilities and had a really relaxing day. It was nice to not always hear traffic and just listen to nature. The rooms are nicely decorated and well maintained. The food was delicious and the staff were great. I'd absolutely love to come back here one day.

We had a super stay at Losehill House. The facilities were great, with the outdoor sauna and hot tub having fantastic views across the hills. The restaurant was incredible. The food was super, and there was great variation in the well presented options. We had a vegetarian and pregnant person in our party and they were both catered to with several options on the menu, which changed each day we stayed. The breakfasts were also super. Located just out of the village of Hope there are many walks on the doorstep. We enjoyed walking up Mam Tor. We'll definitely be back. Thank you.

I went here for a back, neck and shoulder massage while on honeymoon and the staff were all very lovely. Unfortunately due to a previous and recent injury, I was unable to have the massage completed, but the staff were amazing and gave me a voucher to use again when I am better. I fully intend to go back when I can to enjoy the facilities to their fullest as the restaurant menu sounded lovely too and the grounds looked amazing to walk around.

What a little hidden gem! This hotel & spa is incredible! Set close enough to be accessible but far enough away to be discrete and intimate. The massages are incredible and really ease the tension from day to day life. Not my first time here and won’t be my last. Thank you to Yuri for my Back Massage Let’s touch on the food… fine dining but with substance. The food is sublime! Comes out so delicate but the three course meal fills the spot. The outdoor Sauna and Hot tub after a long walk is bliss. Sitting watching the sun set in the valley just completes this relaxing retreat. Words (especially mine) do not do this place justice!

A wonderful stay in this fabulous location. We walked from the hotel to glorious views of Ladybower reservoir and returned to delicious meals in the restaurant. All the staff were friendly and made our stay very special, especially Sally on reception.

We came for the Half Day spa package and had a great time! All the staff were super lovely, food was delicious (we’re veggie and were pleased with our option on the small menu, the staff did mention that they could cater to vegan guests if they were told in advance) and the scenery was beautiful! Not too far of a drive from Sheffield, would definitely recommend to others and would visit again 😊

Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and promptly received our welcome drinks. We were lucky to have the spa facilities to ourselves and enjoyed the breath taking views from the pool, sauna and hot tub. This was followed by a discovery back and face treatment in the spa treatment rooms. The staff here are fantastic and good at explaining what they are doing and checking in whether the pressure of the massage suits you. Finally we had a wonderful lunch at the Graphene restaurant. Every bite was full of flavour and the plates were well presented. We would highly recommend Losehill House for a Spa Day, we will be back!

Superb stay. Big thanks to Alex for the spa treatments my partner and I enjoyed - very relaxing. Hot tub was great fun and the 3 course meal was delicious, particularly the Beef fillet, which was on another level. All in all, a big recommend!

We had a fantastic stay, friendly and polite staff, very attentive throughout! Rooms were very clean and to a good standard apart from the ironing board. Food and drink was excellent. I would give 5 star but the spa bit let it down, not very luxurious, jacuzzi was excellent with the view but the steam room and sauna was disappointing. Thank you for the great hospitality tho, my wife loved it, we will be back!
