Just had a top quality breakfast at this wonderful eatery whilst out biking in the area. Worth the trip from Sheffield and will definately revisit. Look how the bacon has been grilled to make the small amount of fat crispy. Look how the eggs are very fresh and perfectly fried with no runny fat. All served with a jug of maple syrup. To dye for! My mate had full English which he said was excellent. Breakfasts are rarely as good as this from elsewhere. The owner invited us to park right outside. Cafe owners should take lessons here. This is how it should be done.

Beautiful cafe with an amazing breakfast menu! Opens early (8AM) so if you’re passing through you must stop and taste the homemade food here!

What a little gem! Tastiest poached eggs I've even had out and perfectly cooked. Was nice that we could bring the dog in. Defo worth a visit 🙂

Called in to grab some lunch and chose the Special Red Thai Curry with rice. Eat at No. 5 is truly one of the best spots to eat in town, the service is great and the food consistently incredible. Thank you!

What a great place to stop for a bite to eat while out cycling. There's both eat in and a take away service. The food is excellent, well priced and lovingly prepared. Coffee is good too. Contactless payment accepted. You won't be disappointed 😎

What a great find this place was. Just down the road from the premier inn we were staying at and we came here every morning for breakfast as it was that good. Very friendly and polite owner and all the food is cooked fresh, either to eat in or take out. I would recommend the breakfast panini!

One happy veggie - had a lovely veggie breakfast panini and my other half had what he said was 'one of the best bacon and egg rolls I've ever had'. Praise indeed - he's had a few! Nice owners and friendly atmosphere.

What a brilliant, brilliant little place! I passed through Buxton en route to The Lakes on my bike and was thrilled to discover No 5. The food was utterly delicious and the staff were incredibly friendly. Definitely recommend to locals and tourists alike!

The Best full English I've ever had! We went in on Saturday morning for something to set us up for the day and were not disappointed. The owner served us and was really friendly. I had a delicious mocha and a full English, my partner had a latte and full English, the food came out very hot and cooked to perfection. I ordered a sandwich and drink to takeaway for my dinner, yet to report on that but I'm sure it'll be as delicious as everything else. I think we've found our regular breakfast place, can't wait to go back!

We found sanctuary here on a soggy Saturday morning! Super friendly, accomodating owners and delicious food. The cooked breakfast was very generous for the price. If we get a chance to go again I'll have the avocado with seed mix and poached egg with Sriracha. My wife had the avocado with her veggie breakfast and it was very tasty.

Popped in for coffee and a cake on a 4 day motorbike tour while we were getting drowned out by rain one miserable day. Lovely friendly helpful staff with some really tasty fresh bakery products and they happily allowed us to shelter there a little while and even helped to charge a dead helmet intercom 👍🙂

Absolutely delicious food and welcoming atmosphere! Perfect for a rainy lunch stop, so many options to pick from and all freshly made. Great service, friendly staff. Couldn’t fault and would pop in again if I find myself in Buxton.

We are repeat customers, visiting the area again on holiday and we had two excellent breakfasts here cooked by Mark. It was great to see you both again and we look forward to tucking into your amazing cakes with a cuppa when we get home. Stay well and we hope to see you again before too long. Kind regards Gwen and Jerry.

Breakfast was excellent. Asked if you do porridge, was told no, but I will make you some. Porridge was perfect. Quality ingredients, local produce. Cant wait to go again.

Friendly family run cafe, with the owner, a former hotel head chef with many years experience, knows how to cook and make cakes. The pulled pork on ciabatta with peppercorn sauce was incredible. And hats off to those Viennese Whirls...biggest I've ever seen.
