UPDATE: Range is in much better condition. They’ve had vendors come in for demo days and stuff. Really friendly people. ORIGINAL: If you want to be an expert at hitting out of straight dirt, then this is your driving range. However, if you want to learn how to hit out of grass, not get dirt in your hair/clothes, and not have to clean your clubs/shoes after every short visit, don’t come here. And it’s not just like this during winter. I was having the same issues during summer/fall. Why I’m rating them now is because they raised their prices on buckets! So the conditions are still awful, and they’re now charging $2 more for each size. Go somewhere else if you can. 3 stars because they at least have mats you can hit off of, just bring your own rubber tees. The people are generally nice as well.

Turf or the grass, it is really a preference where one will practice. Jay from the pro-shop was very accommodating and the pro-shop itself had more "toys for the big boys" than the average. Really nice place!

You don't need much to make a driving range work, so it was ok I guess. Looks like there are thousands of dollars worth of golf equipment in there. Maybe spend a little of that money on the putt putt course. It's just... trash.

This a great place to go for a casual day at the range. The balls are all Callaway and they offer accurate range distances and have a well stocked pro shop with friendly service. We will definitely be back.

Terrible.. just terrible. Wish I had a no stars option. Customer service sucks. I used to really love this place growing up but past few times management and employees act like they’re bored out of their mind and don’t want to even talk to you.

Convenient to town, nice staff, only used driving range but had a good experience. Fair prices, friendly people. Roll Tide.

Not exactly the friendliest people work there (they really should change the name to Grumpy's); but what do I care? I'm just there to work on my golf game and hit a bucket of balls. No way on God's green Earth would I purchase anything from them such as equipment or lessons due to the unfriendliness factor, but they serve a purpose for what I want.

Was told there were no lights on the mini golf course, my friends and i didnt mind and still went for it, but the courses itself were rundown, leaves everywhere, not much water in their waterfalls so it looked dirty. Course carpet was ripped in multiple places and the bricks werent lined up too well on some of the holes. Didnt try the driving range

Lots of range options, from Mats Open/Covered and Grass (open) reasonably priced and super nice staff on hand.

Brad is a great golf coach. Friendly and knowledgeable. Will help your golf game. The range is the best public range in town. Good amount of golf equipment for sale in pro shop. Brad/Smiley’s can also custom order any golf gear you want.

The staff was friendly and helpful. But that's the only good I have about this place in reference to mini golf course- it was in shambles. It has potential, but it's very neglected. Pics included to show what im talking about. Didn't do the range, so no feedback there.

Nice driving range. Good price. Mini golf course needs work. None of water features were on and had standing dirty water. Some holes under maintenance and closed. Carpet grass worn and fetched up in many places. $6 a person and told us we could play all day if we wanted. Gave us a free pass to come back at a future date due to the maintenance. Friendly staff.

Smileys is by far the best place to go in the Triad. They offer everything from clubs to club fitting, even lessons. Brad and his staff are great! Super friendly and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend!

I started taking lessons with Brad in June. It is now the end of August and I have had 5 lessons. Brad is an amazing teacher who has helped my golf game tremendously. I recently shot my best round ever and am getting better all the time. If you’re looking to improve you can’t just go to the range if you don’t have a sense of direction on how to get better. Take a few lessons with Brad and he will give you all the tools necessary to take onto the range and eventually become a great golfer. Love working with him and would recommend to anyone.

I’ve been playing golf nearly 40yrs and have never had a lesson. Brad made effective and efficient use of our time. The lesson was great and I’m more excited to play than I’ve been in a long time. Oh and I also got a great value on some ‘new to me’ irons and a sweet hybrid club. They have a surprisingly great selection of clubs, shoes, bags and balls. Range facility was more than adequate. Jake was an awesome young man that helped me select the updated clubs.
