I have collected crystals for about 13 years. Treasure quest mining has the best priced and most diverse crystal selections in the triangle area. The staff is super knowledgeable, gracious as well as kind. Never had a bad experience its a regular visit for me and my children. Also a great and welcoming place for extra sensory children. I would recommend the empath as well as rock hound amazing place.

My husband and I had the best time today! What a precious treasure in this town! The ladies working there were so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly! We are definitely coming back, and bringing our friends. I was impressed by the website, but even more impressed in person. Organized, pristine, and so kid friendly too!

Truly a gem!(pun intended) not only do they have a great gem mining experience, they also have a wide variety and selection of gems for purchase! The show room is beautiful and the whole building is very clean and maintained. The staff is very friendly and nice. You get a lot of gems for the money too! Will definitely be returning!

Treasure Quest Mining is by far my favorite place to buy crystals from. The owners and employees are all very well educated and can answer or help you find the answer to any questions you may have. Everything is well priced and great quality with a wide variety of items available. Every time I go I find something new that I absolutely must add to my collection. Their take home options are a lot of fun with kids as well as the in store mining is an absolute blast! I can honestly say this is my favorite store in the area.

Simply amazing. Had our son’s birthday party here and it was astonishing clean and so much fun! The owners are super friendly and do such a great job with running everything, being patient and knowledgeable, etc. The kids all got amazing assortments of gems and the room for cake was well stocked and worked perfectly. The shop is fascinating to explore, even if you have no knowledge or experience with gems, fossils, and the like. Overall, just a really fun, well-run establishment that I highly recommend for kids and adults of all ages!!

We took our girls here today (4,7) and when I say this was hands down the best local experience we’ve had so far in The Triangle, I mean it! The owner was so patient and informative. Our girls had so much fun, learned a lot and grew a passion for gems in 1 hour. We definitely will be back to try some of the other buckets real soon. 10/10 recommend!

Very service minded and helpful. Buckets feels very arranged and not so authentic. But they contain a large variaty of stones with all sorts of colors. If you just want to have fun and find a lot of good stone, this is the place to go.

Treasure quest mining has become one of my go-to stops for presents as well as for when I want to spoil myself; and the “mining experience” is also lots of fun! Especially with kids or to take home for a date night. I’d originally stopped by with a friend after she moved into the area about 2-3 years ago. Have been countless times since. The family who owns the shop is so incredibly kind and talented in helping strangers to feel welcome in their space. They periodically go on trips to get new goodies and it’s always so fun to see what they’ve brought home. By far the best crystal selection I’ve encountered!
