Interesting seafood. I am used to a very different way of preparing it, so I thought it would be fun to try something different. I was not a fan of it at all, I found it to be unbearably salty. I am a huge seafood lover and eat it all the time so this was very disappointing for me. I didn't like that you couldn't get different sides either, I don't eat potatoes but I couldn't have it without them which I found quite odd. Corn or coleslaw were really the only veggies and again I had to be served corn when I don't eat it. Our waitress was okay but didn't know really what gluten free was so that was a struggle. The decor also was interesting and it was quite dusty. Plenty of parking was available and it was on the ground floor without steps so I would call it handicap accessible.

Potatoes were the perfect softness to absorb the perfectly blended spices in the buttersauce. Lobster tails were on a scale from 1 to 10, nine. There are no 10's. Medium Large Shrimp were very lovely and deveined. Crayfish were easy to tail and quite a bite. I gave it 5 stars because the Wife said "We have to come here at least once a month". I agreed.

First time there for me & my husband due to Covid. We chose an hour after they open when we knew it wouldn't be very busy 1/8/22 Extremely good customer service from the hostess to the waitress! Very clean restaurant and bathroom, food was great(hats off to the cook)! On a scales of 1-10 I would give it all a 10! Keep up the good work staff, your doing great!!!!!☺️

Went for a late lunch on Saturday. Ordered and seated out side our request. It was a beautiful day, and our waitress was awesome. Relieved order and was great. Will definitely return.

Our food was good ,more than enough to fill you up. I didn't enjoy my scallops but in all fairness I was comparing them with the fresh ones I get in Florida. So there's that, not the same🤷🏾‍♂️. The shrimp baskets and crab boils were well received and really enjoyed. Our server, Jered, was very informative and had great recommendations. Although gratuity, party of 9, was already included it did not keep him from checking on us and making sure all was well. And because of this we left more gratuity 👍🏿 Great job Jered. Full disclosure, I came into this restaurant with low expectations and doubts of food quality. I was wrong. I would recommend this restaurant.

First time! Service FAST and GREAT. We were sat promptly. Menu was easy to read and we did not really have questions and were ready to order. Food was delicious. BIG PORTIONS for the price. You will have leftovers. OVERALL EXCELLENT and will definitely come back. Other details: Bathrooms relatively clean. 97.5 sanitation score. We went around 5 on Friday afternoon. Football was being shown on the TVs. Come here to gain some calories!

Food was great & Angel was a great server, good experience all around.

Came here tonight for dinner and drinks. Jasmine was our server. She was very polite, friendly, and welcoming. She was knowledgeable when it came to the drink specials and she even prepared our drinks for us. They were delicious and perfect. It wasn’t too much alcohol or too little. They were just right. Thank you Jasmine!!!!

You will see that people have written their names all over the walls, but the service was great and the seafood boil was excellent. They were a little light on potatoes, but the server told us up front and I ordered extra. We all had the garlic butter and it was wonderful. There are tvs all over the place, so it looks like a great place to watch a game. We really liked the friendly atmosphere and their prices were great. We used to go to Full Moon Oyster Bar, but this is our new place for seafood. Sorry, no photo. I was too excited to dig in.

Food is ALWAYS great! However, i’ve been in there multiple times and have witnessed the employees ignore the phone! I think it’s unprofessional. They would get a hell of a lot more customers (they have a decent amount now) if they answered the phone for to-go orders. I stopped going there a few months back because of this reason! I personally like to order it & just go pick it up. It’s quick and simple. Because of this inconvenience i give them three stars instead of 5. In conclusion if they fixed this problem i could literally eat there EVERY SINGLE WEEKEND when i come to visit family in Winston. I’m also very sure that others would do so as well if not more often.

My husband and I love this location. This is our go to seafood date spot! Management at this location always recognize us as well as a certain bartender when we dine in. The staff is always friendly. Take out is great as well. Mixed drinks from the bar are wonderful everytime we dine in. Most importantly the seafood is FRESH!!!Melt in your mouth goodness. Mmmm 😋

I’ll be honest. This used to be our favorite place to eat until last night. We had a party of 8 (the tip was included if you have a party of 6 or more). Our bill for 2 people was $155. No issue there, we ordered a lot of food. What made me give a bad review is the fact of, if you’re going to include the tip because of a bigger party, we should not run had out of drinks then have to ask for a refill, we were checked on maybe 2 times, and the waitresses attitude was as if she did not want to wait on us. The food is awesome, but until yesterday we had always had a great experience. I guess it’s because the tip wasn’t included the other times and the waitresses actually worked for their tip.

Great place to eat, staff was great, good price. This food was delicious ate here while passing through and had to get tires for my camper.

We got a table instantly, service was friendly and fast, restaurant was clean. I ordered the Monday Night special. It was very delicious, a good sized serving (wish I had one more piece of corn on the cob), but my only complaint was my garlic butter sauce was a little salty for my taste.

Great food, took me back to my days in Louisiana. Lobster was a little undercooked for my taste, but the family had a great time.

Food was good and even though we didn't get a lot we still couldn't finish it. If I'm ever in the area again I will most definitely be going back

I'm not a big seafood fan but my shrimp and Cajun fries were really good (don't get the coleslaw). My husband and daughter loved their seafood boils. Sorry I didn't get better pics of the food.

First time to the Red Crab in Winston.. VERY BAD first impression!! Will be hard to shake! The food was not good at all.. oysters tasted frozen. The manager, I think his name is Eric, said they are not frozen but I know what frozen seafood tastes like.. not sure I believe him.. All the fries and the fish tasted like it had been cooked in the same grease. A couple pieces of fish had a weird texture..rubbery.. I believe they fried the fish too long. They forgot 2 drinks. Forgot napkins. Forgot straws. I came with 5 kiddos. These kiddos really like fish and seafood. I wanted to treat them to a nice seafood meal and quite frankly the meal was ruined! Also it was ruined by the wait staff. We had 2 different waitresses. They never introduced themselves. One asked me “Are these all your kids” I told her they’re my little friends. She goes “oh ok” in a rude tone and gave me a weird look. One of the kids asked her “don’t you have little friends too” she looked at the child rudely and also rudely looked at me and she said “I hang out with people my own age”. I overheard waitresses discussing me, Saying negative things. One of the kids wanted to sit on my lap, I tickled her. She loudly screamed (loud but not too loud) a waiter came over and told me to “act my age” and said “stop tickling them” in a rude tone. As he was walking away he said I was disturbing other guests. We weren’t disturbing anyone!! A lady at a booth nearby told me she thinks I’m lovely to hang out with the kids. The lady said I seem like a good roll model and she assured me we weren’t bothering anyone. The lady at the other booth said “the employees are the ones bothering me” This place has a lot to learn!!

On a recent visit to Winston-Salem, ordered take out. Chose low country boil combo of snow crab, shrimp (no heads) and black mussels. It was a Friday night and food was ready in 30 min as promised. Noticed at least 15 (maybe 20?) Take out orders ready for delivery. The staff were friendly and on request provided the special tool useful for extracting crab meat. That was a nice touch! Snow crab and shrimp were fresh and hot, the mussels were exceptional (more meat than usually found in our travels). We were introduced to low country boil seafood when living in Savannah, GA several years ago and have been a huge fan ever since. Red Crab does this type of cooking well. If you dine in, the restaurant is rustic and pleasant. Highly recommended!

The family took my daughter there for her birthday. The flavor of the food is always amazing. Have noticed the past couple times that the size of the crab has been smaller. Also, they give a $10 gift card as a birthday gift to be used on a return visit. I tried to use one that I had from my birthday a few months prior. Instead of "asking", the waitress assumed that it was the one my daughter had just received. She couldn't run the ticket again, so I couldn't use it. Didn't set too well. As a note, communicate with the customer if there's a descrepency. Don't just assume.

Ordered today food very bland. I have never had a seafood boil i had to season. It was just sitting in a bag of oil or butter if you will the crab fries had very little crab. Like im from the south where you can get all kinds of flavors in your of bag, the shrimp overcooked, corn tasted boiled times 4. I cannot. Never again i rather cooked

This was very good!! I had the shrimp, crab leg, and crawfish boil with sausage, potatoes, and corn. Delicious!! Waitress was attentive and very nice. I liked the atmosphere, casual and comfortable. I'll definitely be back.

Friendly...Delicious...Great drinks! This place is delicious. Came in town to attend a business meeting and decided to try this restaurant as it was located beside the hotel I was staying in. I received super friendly service from the moment walked in. They have a wide selection of seafood plates and even had my favorite (blue crab.) Definitely will be returning in the future!

I really love this place although I am allergic to shellfish there are other delicious options for me to enjoy. I feel Red Crab has the best chicken wings and I love to have them with the juicy sauce. The only issue is sometimes there is a hassel with getting the juicy sauce with my order because I don't get one of the boil bags but as I stated before I have a shellfish allergy so I'm not able to feast on those. But other than that...it's a great place

Had a great experience. They we able to accommodate our large party. Our server Jada was perfect. She had our table plus a few others and she didn't skip a beat. They food was great!

I'm new to Muscles and crab legs I could really eat this evening day it's so delicious I'm some Oysters the next time.. 3x days of eating good...
