I appreciated the honor shown the all the branches of the armed forces. You and buy a brick to be placed on the paths. There is a piece of the world trade center from 9-11 that you can touch and take pictures with. Lovely play ground for kids is next to the honor park. Lovely grounds to walk or sit.

Beautiful grounds at this park. Military tribute section, walking paved paths as well as trails. Disc golf thru woods, playgrounds for the kids, athletic fields, pavilions with grills and outdoor amphitheater. Dog friendly except not allowed in the military honor area. Very large trac of land. Loved it here.

This is a beautiful park! It has plenty of walking trails and open space! There are several playgrounds, grills and game areas. This is probably the best park in the Triad.

A wonderful park with trails that will be good for any skill level, volleyball courts, playgrounds, soccer fields, picnic shelters, horseshoe throwing pits and even a fishing pond. They have a bouldering area for kids and a large climbing wall and ropes course for adults. Note that times listed on trails are definitely longer than reality - they list a 30 minute loop but really only takes 10-15 minutes.

Awesome memorial dedicated to those that served their country. It is well worth the time to visit. I did not spend much time at the park but it appeared to have everything a well resouced park would have. It is definitely a beautiful public green space to enjoy.

This park is very large with two separate play areas. The more shaded play ground has play equipment suitable for younger kids and a nice walking concrete walking path, and a small covered shelter by the play ground. There are multiple picnic tables with grills around, and the playground area is well shaded for much of the day. No bikes, no skateboards or anything with wheels is allowed. The bathroom is a long walk from the playground. There is also a volleyball court, and there is a storybook you can read along your walk. It is the only Forsyth County park with a story walk. Both of the waterfountains did not work when we visited November 9th, but I wonder if water was turned off in case of freezing for the winter months. Overall it was a really lovely park and my moms group had a fabulous time. The other play area had equipment more for older kids and is directly in the sunlight. It's great for a cooler day but super hot in summer months. The bathrooms are much closer and there is a huge shelter with many picnic tables. We love both areas depending on time of year or weather we pick the smaller one if we need more shade and the larger if it's not too hot.

This was an amazing experience and a proper way to acknowledge the sacrifices made to protect our freedoms. Most of the people will respect the rules of conduct when visiting, but people will speed through the parking lot, so be aware of you have small kids with you. The memorial recognizes all disciplines of the military. The area is well-maintained, and we were impressed by the design and beauty of this ode to those who served and continue to serve. Midas 5-stars for the cleaniness and maintenance.

It is a nice calm park for picnics, a lot of grills to make your lunch, and enjoy a great day with your favorite person. It closes at 9:30 pm in summer which is awesome

I visit this park just about every day. I’ve been walking for exercise at Triad for over four years. The park is kept up really well by the maintenance people. The trails are nice. The park is spread out enough so that you can cover a lot of area all depending on how far you want to walk. A lot of activities available, and enough workers around to ensure safety and help if needed.

A great park with lots of areas for activities. Walking, biking, and hiking trails all over. Several playgrounds for kids of various ages. It really is a treat with something for everyone. We love taking our kid there to run, swing, slide, and just play.

Lovely place for a walk. A little urban...lots of concrete walkways. Also substantial green areas. Perfect for h'capped people. Can get windy as there is little protection from wind around the memorial which is a war remembrance for most of if not all of the wars Americans have fought in and a section honoring the five military branches. I've been there many times and I really like it.

This park is a beauty indeed! The monuments for the veterans memorial is museum quality and very informative, I say 5 stars! They have several big playgrounds with shaded areas for a hot summer day. Rock climbing areas, Volleyball areas to play on sand, soccer field, a pond to fish, walking/ biking trails, and tons of picnic areas to just chillax with family and friends!

Wonderful community park. Three different playgrounds for children to play on. Great park to take a walk, run, play soccer, play volleyball, baseball, or have a picnic at one of the shelters.
