I've stayed here a few times for work and I absolutely love this place! The staff both the hotel and restaurant are incredible and truly great people. The rooms are wonder and well, appointed and the beds are extremely comfy. The restaurant downstairs is excellent and has a knowledgeable waitstaff. I definitely recommend this hotel and hope to be back soon!

Excellent hotel and absolutely gorgeous! Attendants we're super polite and helpful and print works bistro was delicious! We went here for our anniversary and requested chocolate strawberries and white rose petals. I felt like I was able to do a great deal of customization. Room and bathroom was immaculate. TV amenities is modern and we were able to Chromecast our movies. Highly recommend them! One ask would be to have a jetted tub / Jacuzzi. For such a romantic hotel I was surprised that they didn't include a jetted tub in a room known as a "spa" room. The soaking tub we had also had draining problems (wouldn't seal completely, causing the water to constantly drain as we used it). Didn't dock a star for it since we had a great time there, but definitely something to consider. Either way, looking forward to staying at this hotel again in the future, as well as at it's sister hotel the O.Henry.

Ally was the start of my trip. Thank you dear for treating me with such warmth and kindness at check in. Every member on the staff here was warm and kind. It is exactly what the heart and soul needs after a pandemic and the turmoil that came with it. My room was pristine! there are little signs on all the outlets so I knew exactly what switch worked what. The morning coffee, in the room was so delicious that I could not check fulling out until I finished that last sip. What a beautiful hotel and experience from the staff members to the absolutely delicious items on the menu to the all the details provided in the decor. The corner window seats in the bar area are perfect for getting some work done in the afternoon sun with a late breakfast.... So cozy. Thank you for filling my soul with goodness. I look very much forward to my next stay at The Proximity Hotel.

It has taken me a long time to be able to write this review. My family stayed at this hotel a lot between April and May of 2022. My family went through a really hard time during the passing of a very special man. We stayed at this hotel so we would have somewhere to come and rest and shower. By the second or third day the staff noticed that we were dragging in, and they went out of their way to ask if we were okay. We explained that we had a family member in the final stages of life and we were having very hard days. Over multiple trips in the following weeks and months, the staff went out of their way to be compassionate and caring with us. They hugged us when we needed to cry and sat with us and listened to the stories we had to share about our family member. They constantly checked on us, and at one point towards the end, they went in together to put flowers in our rooms to help cheer us up. The compassion they showed our family made this difficult time just a little easier. The hotel was the perfect place for us to escape, the rooms became our sanctuary. It was so good to try and sleep in peace and quiet and grab a great meal. My family will forever be grateful that this hotel and the amazing staff were there for us, and you have our loyalty from here on. We can't wait to get back there to say a thank you in person to everyone who went out of their way to help us. It takes special people to see the hurt and then go out of their way to help. This place truly became a second home to us over the months, and a needed refuge. It helps a lot that the hotel is just beautiful and the rooms are so spacious. We had space to decompress, and we were surrounded by beauty. With our deepest thanks and gratefulness, we hope to visit again soon! ** Oh, and the glass water jugs that we could fill anytime we wanted was absolutely priceless! Such a great idea!!!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Proximity. I traveled into town for a work event, so I did not get to explore Greensboro. Luckily, the Print Works restaurant on site provided the perfect location to dine. Wonderful food and drinks. The service provided by the front desk and the restaurant was friendly and responsive. I was able to reserve a corner room, and the added light was a bonus.

The hotel is nice but not great. The rooms are too dark. To adequately light the room, I had to turn on six lights. That is just too much! Also, there wasn't a full length mirror in any of our rooms. TV in the room was a pain in the neck to operate.

A beautiful hotel with great amenities. I was on the 8th floor in a large and well-appointed room. Friendly staff, a great bar/restaurant, and tons of open meeting areas really make the Proximity a terrific place to stay for both business and personal visits. I'd gladly stay there again.

I've had the good fortune to have traveled in multiple countries as well as extensively throughout the US. I absolutely love this hotel! It is on par with any of the great properties I've stayed in throughout my travels. The staff, from the GM down to everyone with whom I've interacted, are outstanding! The food is outstanding! The rooms are outstanding! And, the common areas are outstanding! I don't know what else I can cover to share my enthusiasm for this hotel. I have the good fortune of working in the Greensboro area a number of times each year and this is the only hotel I will stay at going forward!

Great hotel if you are going to an event at the Greensboro Coliseum …the staff was very customer focused…the Print Bistro has a great wine selection by the glass… first time staying there and would definitely stay again when in the area

We love the Proximity. It is truly one of the great hotels in the country. I must say however there are slight signs of slipping. Cracked sink with rust in the bathroom, less trained/experienced staff. But even with minor inconveniences, we loved our stay as usual.

Hotel was lovely and the print works bar was fantastic, the frites at the end of our evening were much needed. Bartender was great! Stayed for 1 night and haven't spent much time in the city so I can not speak to location. It did serve us well for the area we had to visit in Greensboro. The king room was well equipped and robes were waiting! Ample space in the room and bathroom had double vanity, great for us getting ready for our event at the same time. Everything we needy was on the floor of our room. Water dispenser with differing temps and Ice machine was located centrally to the floor. Staff was extremely helpful and provided wonderful service.

Stayed in a King corner room. From check-in to the room itself, everything was excellent. The bed was super comfortable, room was very spacious and the shower wonderful. Had room service which met every expectation I had and delivered very quickly. The meal itself was very filling. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Proximity is amazing.. the customer service is just perfect. They really want to take care and f you and give you the best service ever. My trip was a it short and didn’t tried their food, but I know I’ll be back. The hotel is owned by their employees so they really take good care f the facilities. Not only that you have ice, cold and warm water at each floor. Also you have amazing coffee on each room.. not good coffee!! Amazing GOOD coffee… When you say that about hotel coffee??? Never!! Here you do!! And the tea is just great. You will have a small refrigerator and microwave on each room. The bathroom is just perfect!! The stay was just perfect!!

We only stayed for one night, but we enjoyed our corner room as it was spacious and clean with lots of natural light. I loved that there was an extra-large mirror as you entered the room. A lot of hotels don't provide a full-size mirror so this was an unexpected surprise. The front desk staff were friendly and professional. The appetizers and cocktails in the attached Print Works Bistro were delicious, as well as our room service the next morning. As a bonus, we didn't see a single dog. We don't mind service animals, but a lot of hotels now allow guests who let their dogs run amok in their lobbies.

My wife and I went there to celebrate and the entire staff was amazing. The property is beautiful, the restaurant was great and everyone there made me feel special and important. As a business owner myself they gave me ideas :). thanks again Proximity Hotel. We will be back.

I love this hotel. It's really comfortable, friendly, and well located. The room service is prompt, they have a great selection, and the food is fantastic (with just a couple of duds over many years). I try to get into this hotel every time I'm in Greensboro (a few times every year). I enjoy its sister hotel the O'Henry too, but I strongly prefer the Proximity.

I held a professional meeting at the Proximity with attendees from all over the United States and Canada. We had a private dinner the night before the meeting, then breakfast and lunch brought to the meeting room the day of the meeting. It could have been an extremely stressful time for me, attempting to get all of the details right, but somehow the Proximity team was able to anticipate and meet every single need. I am absolutely blown away at their professionalism and expertise in all areas, from AV to hospitality. Specifically I would like to call out Tony, Jakoma, and Chris, without whom I would have been lost! And the food was beyond my wildest expectations!

This place is amazing! The facility itself was lovely and luxurious. The service was top of the line. I had shared with our group leader my dietary restrictions, and the kitchen and wait staff were so incredibly conscientious about sticking to them that I was able to enjoy their marvelous meals with no bad after effects. I highly recommend them!

My fiancee and I loved staying at the Proximity Hotel! It feels like you are stepping into another world...peaceful, soothing, and cool. It is beautifully decorated and very clean. I was pleased with the sound system in the lobby and the choice of music. We had a lovely room and we heard no sounds from outside of our room. I recommend more sugar and cream for coffee/tea in the room but otherwise the room was perfect.

Really enjoyed my brief one night stay at the Proximity. The room was comfortable and clean. Nice little in room amenities in the bathroom as well as the guest lounge on the floor. Location is in an office park, which is a bit cold, but the hotel has plenty of parking and a nice bistro restaurant on site. One small piece of advice, is it would be nice to have a small continental breakfast set up in the guest lounge, muffins, croissant, etc. for grab and go for guests checking out early and getting on the road.

We just stayed one night and didn’t see the rest of the hotel or the restaurant. But the room was wonderful! The bathroom was great with the tub and shower connected. And the bed was very comfortable! If you need a night away from the kids, it’s a great option!

From the time you walk in the door until the time you leave, excellent service is provided by the Proximity! Everyone is friendly and eagerly helpful. The room was spacious and well appointed, and the guest area with provided beverages was generous. And have to mention the Printworks Bistro! Delicious meals served in a gorgeous atmosphere. Highly recommend. Look forward to our next visit.

So far my only complaint is the lack of laundry facilities on-site or nearby! They offer a valet laundry service, but at $10/pair of pants, $4/undergarment, and $8-10/shirt, it would cost me $100+ to do a small load of laundry. Challenging for longer stays on cross-country trips. The service is outstanding though. Everyone is customer-oriented and kind, even the night staff when I showed up frazzled and exhausted at one in the morning. The building is unique and beautiful, the restaurant and bar are delicious and fairly priced. Overall, I'd be eager to stay again, I'd just pack accordingly 😅

We’ve lived in Greensboro over a decade and have loved dining at the Bistro often. We always wanted to stay a night or two at the Prox and we were afforded the opportunity when we moved out of our house. It did not disappoint, everything was perfect, the room fantastic, we enjoyed the pool and of course the meals at the Bistro. Take advantage of the dinning credit as long as it’s available if you are thinking of staying here…everything is so well thought out and just over the top nice.

Loved staying at Proximity! So many thoughtful details in this hotel. The 'living room' on our floor where we could get ice and fill the glass pitcher provided in our room with filtered water. Extra blanket, hangers, and bathrobes provided. We also loved the coffee in the lobby and being able to get to Print Works Bistro through the lobby.

Beautiful setting, lovely building with a dramatic and very classy lobby. Staff were welcoming and the epitome of professionalism. Very large, tastefully appointed guest rooms. Especially loved the window seating, as the views from the back side of the hotel are so peaceful and comforting. Extremely comfortable bed. Large, well appointed bathroom with large walk-in shower. Prompt room service with a great selection of very tasty offerings. At the adjacent Print Works Bistro we felt as if we were in Paris. Top notch service, and the most wonderful food. We’re going to have to think up a reason to return to Greensboro, just so we can stay here again.

The hotel was great. The rooms are spacious and clean and have a great modern/vintage feel to them. Great amenities (coffee, tea, lots of towels, robes) and lots of space to store clothing. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location is not ideal, it's in the middle of an industrial complex, but can easily drive 5mins for restaurants and other attractions. The only issue we had at the hotel was that our rooms keys kept deactivating. The staff was great and brought new ones to us immediately, but it was a bit of a hassle the 3 times it happened.

Loved this place! Lots of amenities, but my favorites were filtered drinking water, electric kettle and teas, nice towels and robes, too much to mention. The decor was simple and elegant and soothing. The staff was kind and attentive. The restaurant could hold it's own as fine dining anywhere.

Fortunately we found this beautiful gem and loved every second. We had an 8 floor suite that was just beautiful. It was quiet, it was green (thank you), and the room was great for work and sleep. The bed was comfy, the view was nice, and we were able to walk to food options as well as eating in the hotel (yum). Literally this is what we expect. They delivered our flowers to the room before we arrived and allowed us an extra hour to get out (we overslept because it was so comfortable). Luxury while being environmentally friendly and they leave you alone unless you need something. It was cool and eclectic and right up our alley! Don't forget to go to the O'Henry Hotel. We had a fabulous lunch there.

I went in mostly for dining and the experience was great. Next time you are there, try the Duck meal and the Royal75 drink. On another note, the rooms are spacious enough and the garden is made to host small groups gatherings. The overall interior design is a right between luxury antique and contemporary, so you get that heartwarming feeling. An easy 4star.

Accommodations were top notch. The natural light in our corner king room was delightful, you could even open 3 of the windows. View of a lake and beautiful trees and landscaping. Cleanest hotel room we've been in for a long time. The entire property is very posh and spotless. Fresh flowers in the lobby. Common area on our floor equipped with a water dispenser, computer and printer. Beverages for purchase via phone scan. Bistro had excellent food and drink, upscale ambience and attentive service. Can't wait to stay here again.

What a beautiful hotel. The rooms are warm but industrial feeling if that makes sense, very comfortable and clean. It was also incredibly quiet. I could not hear any sounds from other people. The bathroom was a real treat and they have filtered water available for drinking. The meetings rooms are comfortable and the food was outstanding. Exceptional service all around.
