The Groome Inn is truly such a unique and beautiful home away from home, and me and my boyfriends stay was 5 stars all around!! The staff are absolutely wonderful, the beds are some of the comfiest I have ever slept on, and the breakfast was out of this world! The entire house is truly as beautiful as the pictures look, and Elizabeth was so kind, and took such great care of us. Such a romantic place, We will definitely being staying again very soon!!

We are still in the midst of our stay, so this is like a midterm review. We are so impressed with the inn. Evie, the owner/caretaker was there to greet us after a long trip. So easy going and kind, she showed us to a beautiful room that was so comfortable. She recommended some places to eat and gave us the quiet solitude we needed to rest. She made a delicious breakfast of eggs and blueberry pancakes and a fresh fruit cup. We went out for the day and returned to freshly baked cookies along with the breakfast menu for tomorrow. Great place to stay!

We found this bed & breakfast last minute. We arrived and it was more than we could have asked. Clean, beautiful, and better than a hotel. For most of our trip it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. We had large breakfast each morning. Orange juice and coffee with a parfait to start. Then our main breakfast dish of scrambled eggs, a breakfast savory pastry or quiche with breakfast potatoes for the side. The grounds are well maintained and beautiful to walk. Our room was extremely spacious as well as the bathroom.

Five star service all the way! Incredible people, food, absolutely breathe taking location and grounds! Don’t hesitate to book here!

My husband and I stayed at The Groome Inn in November 2018 for our 1st wedding anniversary. We were able to stay in the bridal suite, which was lovely! We recommend this place to all our friends. From the view of the beautifully lit property as we drove up the driveway after dark to the comfortable bed and cozy fireplace in our room, the accommodations were romantic and enjoyable. The breakfast, cooked for us by the innkeeper, was delicious. We were greeted and treated with warmth and friendliness and we hope to stay here again in the future!

It was wonderful. The host, Mary Kay is just delightful. The inn is so welcoming and relaxing. It's beautiful! My room was amazing and comfortable. First time I woke up without back pains. Breakfast was delicious! I had a great, relaxing time there and cant wait to go back!

Did not honor their own website prices, even after promising would look at the billing and make it right, so $125.00 average room for one night turned out to cost me $180.00 plus extra time emailing my confirmation and info which they never responded to… With promises to contact me that were not kept for days now. The hostess was not very welcoming and in a hurry for me to leave “to turn the room” for the next night. As I was about to leave, had the gall to show me their messed up computerized bill left me “owing another $35. But never mind…. And they did not even understand their bill. Never called back after telling me they would, and likely planning to pocket the extra money. Worst B & B experience I have ever had and will not be back. Pretty grounds don’t make up for how I was treated. I felt so rushed that I did not even use the shower and just left. Also, No thank you for the generous gratuity I felt despite that I was feeling a pressured to leave so she could get on with delivering cupcakes. Tried to give time for resolution before giving a review, but seems their extra few dollars in their pocket was more important than honoring my reservation confirmation for $125.00. I found them on Furnitureland South’s website as a referral, but will be sharing my experience with Furnitureland soon. They may want to reconsider. Very disappointed. I tried to be a friend who stayed up far past my bedtime to listen to a lot of her problems, but was bitten in the end.

Breakfast was great. The place had a nice, relaxing feel to it. Me and my wife will definitely be back.

We absolutely love hosting our Wren’s Nest Light & Lively Wellness Retreats at The Groome Inn. The venue is gorgeous. The location is peaceful. We have hosted 7 retreats at The Groome Inn and we have 4 more retreats scheduled in 2021! The owner Evie & the staff are so wonderful to partner with in creating an exceptional experience for our guests. We always look forward to hosting our special events and retreats at The Groome Inn!

I’ve attended two weddings here. The venue is lovely and intimate. The wedding took place in a garden corridor. The bride entered down the beautiful curved staircase and then walked down the aisle. The bride and groom recited vows under a beautiful lush green arbor which was an amazing backdrop. The house was spacious and charming. Dinner was served after the wedding while photos of the wedding party were underway. We danced the night away with the DJ outside under the beautiful lights. When it was time to rest we sat on the wrap around porch in front of a water fountain. It’s a great place to attend an event. The wedding party stayed in the house through the weekend. There are 5 rooms and they were each unique. The rooms were all spacious and the bathrooms in each room were custom and luxurious.

The last two occasions or events we had at the Inn was my daughter's sweet 16 and my friends birthday party. We had a great time. I love how you can or not decorate because it is so beautiful.
