Came here for Tea !! It was a beautiful time! The hotel is grand and the lobby you are in is very peaceful, relaxing and laid back. You have to make a reservation which for us was about two weeks out. It was a treat and something different to do for lunch! Service was amazing nothing bad to say! Also, you can get your food gluten free which is what I did. The gluten free options were delicious!!

Everything about our stay was amazing. We received excellent service from everyone we encountered. Sinatra was playing as we entered our room. I appreciated the nods around the hotel to its historic predecessor. My grandparents honeymooned at the original downtown location in the ’40s. This was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary.

Great service; first hotel in my 30 years of traveling that honored my request for hard pillows - very female friendly. Loved that lights dimmed in every room, ice machines w water available in each floor to fill the in room water pitcher. High tea in the afternoons and great jazz on Thursday. Quality of food was excellent.

Went here to listen to jazz. Hotel is nice. Drink service was great. We had some Tapas and drinks. The Tapas were good and cocktails were well made. The cocktail prices were a little high for area but you get free jazz music so it equals out. The Jazz was good, but have heard better. Some advice arrive early for Jazz as it gets completely full. Some people were super annoying, if you get up to use restroom they ask if your leaving. Hello people my drink is there, my jacket is there and oh yeah my wife is still sitting there. Happened multiple times. Not going to ding hotel due to rude people.

Extraordinary service! Spacious room & bath with a rubber duck for the tub! Upscale hotel. Nice selection of tea & coffee in the room. Very nice, friendly bar & restaurant, delicious! Classic southern charm & hospitality. I left my glasses in my room after I checked out & was heading out of town. With great care, excellent wrapping, the hotel staff kindly shipped my glasses to my home. That was really going the extra mile! HUGE thanks to a lovely hotel with super service!

We came here for our wedding night! Everything was set up perfectly and the beds were comfortable! We loved that the bath had a little area to put your phone or tablet on there or your food if you want to eat too. Everything was super cute and relaxing! Perfect!

Stumbled across this hotel while traveling through Greensboro NC for the evening. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The staff was excellent, food was great, and the hotel was full of history and well kept. Jerry gave exceptional service as well as the front desk, but I didn't get her name. Will make plans to return!

Our stay at the O’Henry Hotel was good. The room was very nice and in a great location to see Greensboro. Several aspects of service however were lacking for the $ spent. Green Valley Grill restaurant meals were well below average with short ribs that were slow cooked cheaper meat - not short ribs. Impossible to get into the bar on Friday or Saturday due to non-guests. Tea service is a great idea however it left nowhere to sit and enjoy a cocktail or conversation in the beautiful lobby. So we had to order drinks from a crowded bar and take to our room. Not an ideal set up. Probably a great place for a venue (wedding, anniversary party, etc) however maybe not a good choice for a quiet weekend.

I attended a day-long professional development workshop at the O.Henry. It exceeded my expectations in all respects. The staff is courteous and professional, the food is excellent, and the venue is cozy, clean, and lovely. We had afternoon tea as part of our event, and we had a wonderful time. Well done, O.Henry team!

Had a really great stay at the O.Henry hotel. My wife and I are local and did a night out for our anniversary and chose the 3 wishes package. The early check in and late check out was perfect. The $50 dinner voucher was money well spent and the breakfast in bed the next morning topped it all off. Service was top notch. Thank you O.Henry for a great anniversary stay.

This hotel is outstanding by any standard! Right down to the soft, fluffy bathmats. And real comforters - not just a colored strip across the bottom of the bed! The ceilings are painted like the sky and everything else is immaculately clean. The doors are wide and heavy. The fixtures gleam. They have live jazz on Thursday evenings and high tea every day, This is classy elegance personified. Treat yourself.

I'm sure the rooms are great, just haven't stayed in one! I go to the Jazz on Thursday nights and it's always so fulfilling. The jazz ensemble featuring Dave Fox on piano delivers the sounds you didn't know you needed. Staff and food is terrific and the prices for the apps are not out of line. Ten out of ten recommend for a relaxing night on the town!

Stayed here with my girlfriend for a performance at Greensboro College and treated ourselves to a luxurious experience. Atmosphere was warm and inviting, with historical artifacts and classic furnishings surrounding the lobby making you feel like you stepped back in time. The dining area and bar/restaurant are both gorgeous. Room was very comfortable with an especially nice marbled bathroom. Location felt sort of like an office park, but parking was easy and the autumn warmth in North Carolina was much appreciated by this New Englander.

Best in class! Extremely comfortable rooms, delicious food, outstanding service & care! Weekend packages are the icing on the cake. We love supporting locally-owned and employee-owned - QW provides top-rate hospitality. A Triad gem.

The O’Henry and The Proximity are two of my favorite hotels in the country. Always clean, no toxic chemical smells and friendly staff. The sleep I get there is better than anywhere else.

The O. Henry is absolutely my favorite hotel. I stayed here twice for business and each time it also serves as a retreat. I have stayed at hotels like the Ritz and Four Seasons and the O. Henry beats them all out in my opinion. The attentive, kind staff, the luxurious atmosphere and the delicious food at the Green Valley Grill make this worth a trip to Greensboro.

We stopped there to break up a long rode trip and we are so glad we did! It is a wonderful place. My husband and I had afternoon tea with champagne, then dinner and breakfast at the GVG. The room was beautiful and comfortable and had all the requisite amenities, plus some extras details that made it special. We highly recommend staying there for any reason whatsoever!

Quite a beautiful hotel! Very clean, but somewhat dark in common areas. The rooms were pretty impressive. Though my travel companion did not like that the shower knob was behind the open shower door. My room was an accessible one. My complaint was the shower curtain was too long. Minor, right? Staff was exceptionally friendly. Room service was delicious. They even had creamer cups in the refrigerator for your morning coffee. Now, the thing I really appreciated was that the windows opened.

An incredible experience! I had the privilege of staying at the remarkable O.Henry Hotel for four nights on business, and I must say it exceeded all expectations. Right from the moment I stepped foot into the hotel, the staff displayed warmth and hospitality, making me feel welcome. They took the time to share with us the fascinating history of the hotel, which only added to its charm and character. The guest room was nothing short of impressive. Spacious and thoughtfully designed, it boasted a comfortable sitting area, a well-appointed desk, and large windows that allowed plenty of natural light to flood in. The dressing area and bathroom were of the highest quality. I particularly enjoyed the ample space provided to organize and store all my belongings. The AC worked well, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere throughout my stay. Overall, my time at O.Henry Hotel was truly exceptional, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable lodging experience.

I have stayed at the O.Henry now for 6 weeks running while working on a project in Greensboro. This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The staff is friendly and responsive to every ask. The rooms are clean, well appointed and very functional. Fantastic room layout! The restaurant and bar are among the best in Greensboro. I did try another hotel in the area but was right back at the O.Henry. Nothing compares!

Our stay for my two year Anniversary was pleasant and comfortable. I love the shower and bathtub together and the vanity set. The only issue was the expired creamer and kettle. The kettle was a lil dirty but the housekeeper cleaned it the best she could doing our service. Will definitely stay again and book the Magi Suite

My husband and I are in love with The O Henry Hotel! Our experiences here have been extraordinary! We have celebrated here for our anniversary with The Live Jazz Package and The Welcome Back Package! Everything is provided, no need to go outside the hotel if you don’t have to! If you do, The Friendly Center is located one block away!!

The O’Henry Hotel is our favorite hotel…and, we travel quite a bit! The staff is so welcoming and the rooms are wonderful. They have thought of all of the details that make a stay comfortable and memorable. We’d also enjoy the adjoining Green Valley Grill and Tea in the lobby. We have never been disappointed in the service or food…and look forward to the next visit each time we leave.

The O. Henry Hotel is without a doubt one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. The guest rooms are extremely spacious and comfortable, the television allows you to access your own personal streaming accounts if desired, and each bathroom has tile from floor to ceiling, with both a soaking tub and a walk-in shower. If you have a chance to visit the O.Henry Hotel, I would not wait. While you are there, take a moment to sit in the lobby and look up towards the ceiling to admire the intricate woodwork, art, and quotes from literature that grace the walls. Walk to the Green Valley Grill inside the hotel and dine with a friend, or sit at the bar and enjoy one of their numerous speciality cocktails. At the O.Henry Hotel, the customer service is outstanding, the cleanliness is immaculate, the food is fabulous, and the decor is beautiful. I look forward to my next stay there.

This hotel is beautifully appointed. The ceiling in our room was hand painted to look like a late afternoon summer sky - stunning! The room and bathroom were impeccably clean and well maintained. The entire staff is helpful - and so gracious! I'm giving 5 stars despite 2 false fire alarms.

I can't say enough good things about the O.Henry. The professionalism and friendliness of the staff meet or exceed any five star hotel I've visited, including Ritz Carltons. The room was absolutely immaculate with plenty of room and a great bathroom/dressing area. The restaurant was excellent, as I'm sure locals know...but I was impressed and delighted by the food and the service. I had a glass of wine at the bar and the bartenders were the best. Very friendly, smart, and just plain nice!

It was a beautiful and welcoming place that provided a great deal of comfort. After not traveling much during Covid, this was the perfect hotel to re-introduce me into feeling comfortable being out. There was such attention to detail and the service and welcoming staff were top notch. I hope to find other hotels that will live up to this impeccable experience and I do hope to revisit again in the future!

We stayed at their sister hotel; Proximity - we booked Afternoon Tea at O Henry. It was amazing. They have 3 levels of afternoon tea menus. We selected the middle option since we had dinner plans later on that evening. The tea sandwiches & desserts were beautifully prepared & delicious. Staff was attentive & professional. The tea we selected was a special berry tea they had created in house. We definitely enjoyed our afternoon break. Reservations for afternoon tea is a must.
