😠 Negative stars. My son was here on January 7 Friday night from a head on collision. The gross incompetence of the emergency room doctors sent my son out the door with chip fractures in his neck and they did not treat him properly for pain. Negative stars. My son was here on January 7 Friday night from a head on collision. The gross incompetence of the emergency room doctors sent my son out the door with chip fractures in his neck and they did not treat him properly for pain. He was in so much pain that he could not get up to get out and no staff helped. We had to request pain care which we were scolded for. They completely misdiagnosed him and a police officer was sent to our home for us to call the hospital back because the radiologist had found fractures in his neck that were completely overlooked. He also broke his hand and they did not even look at that. This hospital is completely grossly incompetent . I will not pay their bill. I will sue them.

Nurses and doctors are pretty nice. They give you service with a smile. But the cleanliness is very poor. dust and dirt. Why is the hospital so dirty?

Me and my wife have been sitting in the ER waiting room for going on 12 hours, another patient has been waiting in the ER waiting room for going on 14 hours. This is ridiculousness, what are we in a 3rd world country? Been here 3 times in a month for my wife, who they keep misdiagnosing and the 1st visit they did a physical and charged $1,200 and didn’t address her problem. Please fix your healthcare system… IT IS TERRIBLE. Even your employees admitted that this place sucks. I won’t use his language. Thank you for anyone who took the time to read this post I hope it was helpful

Every nurse, midwife, and staff we dealt with were so friendly and helpful. Our baby was born last Friday, and our experience was amazing. The food, as all hospitals, was what it was to be expected. But this hospital gives you a celebration dinner when you give birth. The birth center is a very great place. We were very pleased with our experience.

Iam going to make this short After waiting for two hours for a room They said they were cleaning I arrived to the room and there was blood on the bed post the walls in the sink Something I didn't expect wow so I waited for an hour for them to get another room ready. Not to be totally negative the doctors and nurses were great I guess that's the most important thing

First time giving birth here even though I have gave birth 4 other times at 2 other hospitals. Suffered a very traumatic birthing experience here to the point I had to find mental health care!! I am not going into full details besides one issue is they wanted to take their sweet time and go slow constantly asking me questions and thinking they had time to deliver me. In real my baby came 20 mins or less after I arrived at the hospital. 3 of which was when we pulled up the car to have the valet park us. Only 2 people there. We were told the guy was new and didn’t know what to do so the woman couldn’t take me up yet because she had to train the guy. 5 of which was trying to get checked in not sure what took that woman so long. There was no time for epidural either my contractions were already 2 mins apart getting to hospital and started to be constant with no breaks once the anesthesiologist was in the room to do the epidural they sat me on the bed to start raising it as high as it could go and then my water broke and my son came out seconds later. I have given birth several times never once did anyone raise the bed that high and I had already told them I needed a nurse and pillow to help support me because of scoliosis I cant physically sit up straight without support and they did not try to help. I was also not offered a room with the tub to labor in either they just admitted me and took me to whatever room they wanted. The room we were given was smaller awkward and not as described. They dont seem to put in womens charts how fast your past labors have been. They just thought since my water wasnt broke they had time. So my body went from a 6 to a 10 in about 20 mins or less. An when it came time for stitches one was training the other how to do it instead of getting it done and over with! They did not talk to me or ask if I was ok when I told them it hurt they just kept going. I felt like a science experiment for them! I how ever will say one of the nurses was very rude had horrible bedside manner and made me feel bad about myself and my body! The other nurse said she was just a travel nurse and normally doesnt work there she was nice though. Also once ordering the food it took an hour to get to the room sometimes more, and it was always cold! They always claimed it was because of a short staff but I have talked to others that gave birth their and the food has been cold and late for years!! Ordered my food and a guest tray at the same time. Took an hour for mine and over an hour for the other. The cafe was closed after 4pm and not open on the weekends so my guest could not go get their own food without ordering from the room.

It was horrible. I had to call patient relations on them. They discharged mom an twin newborns at 12 midnight. The charge nurse said that they had to leave by 11:55pm. Charge nurse said that she needed the room an the doctors were busy with an emergency an mom an babies had to leave. I was like Forsyth Hospital would have never discharged newborns at 12 midnight. I would not recommend doing to Atrium to have your babies they will kick you an your child out no matter what time it is. I still can't believe they discharged them at that time of night. Did not even get a transporter to help transport. I parked in the childbirth valet parking they told me I had to move my car.

A great hospital. Probably highly ranked against other US hospitals. AHWFB is tied for best hospital ever with Moses-Cone in Greensboro, in my opinion.

Wake forest Baptist has some of the best doctors and nurses around! I hate hospitals, but if I or my family members need to go, this is the one we chose! I will say, though, that some of the rooms could use a little update and fixing, and the off brand Shasta soda should be replaced by name brand! I mean, come on, Baptist, you guys certainly make PLENTY OF MONEY! Ditch the disgusting soda!

This hospital shows no compassion for their patients and/or families. They are truly ones who go to work to get a paycheck and that’s it. Our grandmother was in the ICU for multiple fractures and a broken neck - they say 2 visitors are allowed in the room, but only allowed one back. When my grandmother asked for a swap in visitors, Cheryl Hough (alleged supervisor) completely showed her tail and called security, causing my grandmother major distress ON HER DEATH BED! We are taking action with provider relations to get that trash out of there. Do not recommend bringing your loved ones here if you want compassionate care.

I want to thank Latrice in the Emergency Room, registration desk, and K. Davis at the security desk for going out of their way to find our bag of patient clothing. After an emotionally exhausting day, 7/5, my mother and I realized we had set the bag down and walked off without it earlier in the afternoon. Latrice remembered hearing about an unattended bag, and put us in contact with K. Davis who tracked down the bag, saving our loved one from having to replace some very expensive personal items. Both employees took the time to show a kindness in an extremely stressful work environment.

OMG! They have a mess going on with the parking. They knew this was going to happen and should have planned accordingly. It takes 45 mins to get parked and another 20 to get inside to where you need to go. They are still requiring ID which is stupid. They are however making thousands a week on valet parking at 10 dollars a car. Yet it still takes about 30 to 40 minutes to get up to the valet for someone to park your car. Shew...... Totally ridiculous

Worse ED experience ever had! Ten hours and never got completely triage. I had vitals with BP 183/113; why did they not red flag that or inquire of history or pain? The 10th hour I threw a respectful adult tantrum and walked out. Me sitting in the car pained, My Mom walks back in and explains to them how I never was triage and the pain I was feeling. 30min later Mom gets me from car and wheels me in. Findings was I am bleeding internally in my abdomen.

My experience was great. All the doctors and nurses were very helpful. They had a very special lunch for me to celebrate my daughter's birth. I really appreciate how they all treat me. Thank you all.

We got there around 12p and was told would be around 8 hours then they came around at 9 and said it would be another 15 hours. So we left. I know trauma patient need to be seen 1st I understand. But instead of having 3 to 4 waiting room looks like they should have more rooms for patients to be seen in. So, I shouldn't get bill for keeping seat warm.

Hospital itself is good. Parking not good. The people are caring and focused. The best doctor in the hospital 🏥🏥🏥 is Dr. Myron Powell. Be kind and nice to the people here. Everyone has to live with the parking 🅿️🅿️.

Due to covid restrictions only 2 could go in the room. So I didn't get up to see the baby until after he was born. On entering the birth room the nurses were busy cleaning up the baby and getting him ready for his mom. The nurses were very attentive, professional and did everything to make sure the mother and child were taken care of.

Best place to be if you are in need of any type of medical treatment. The staff are compassionate, professional and caring , they explain everything step by step and leave no questions un answered. Special thank you to Mrs Nancy, Kat, Dr McLean, Jennifer and all the staff on 9th floor. You guys are great...

There are not enough words to adequately convey how truly wonderful this hospital is! I can speak from the standpoint of someone who has; 1) been taken to and treated here by ambulance; 2) Received specialty clinic care and visits; 3) Had a spouse who's had treatment, studies, and surgery at. Every single employee I've encountered thus far is friendly, helpful, go out of their way to help, even beyond their job description, and extremely capable. The P.A.-C's and physicians who practice here are usually Ivy League medical graduates OR are carefully vetted and meet exquisitely high standards and are impeccable in their medical knowledge. I do recommend this hospital highly. This is not a con, but just want to note that this hospital, as would be any teaching hospital and one of A+ caliber and with a Level 1 trauma center, is huge. Parking was set up to make it as easy as possible to find your parking space by giving colors to different levels, etc. They also offer valet parking, should you wish. Obviously, as it's a hospital, there's plenty of wheelchair access, as well as the availability of any type of assistance one might need due to a special circumstance or condition. THANK YOU, ATRIUM WAKE FOREST BAPTIST!!!

I've been to hospitals around the world. I've never felt more safe and loved by any other health care system. Every Dr was compassionate and thorough and all of the ICU nurses where just as thorough and caring. I couldn't have been in better hands. Thank you for everything. In case you haven't been told today; you make a difference and you are loved!

It is one of the best medical facilities in the world. One of our church members was just there for a rare condition. She was treated well medically. We feel the Lord Jesus used the team here.

Wife had very difficult labor so we had to switch rooms while under extreme stress. During this process a folder containing our important documents was left in our previous room. When we attempted to recover this folder we were informed that nothing was turned in and that the documents were most likely thrown away by the cleaning crew. I had to beg for them to take my contact information just in case the folder were to turn up. I’m sure they most likely trashed that paper due to their demeanor and lack of willingness to help. I do not recommend this place at all to anyone.
