Excellent Cod, Chips, potato scallops and fried mats bars. Batter was nice and crispy and portion size was big! Salt and vinegar on the hand cut chips was just the way I had them as a kid back in the day. Will be back 100%

Been here on many occasions and never had a bad meal or bad service! The cod is always fresh and cooked perfectly. We usually ask for lightly battered cod and the staff are always happy to accommodate us. The chips are always tasty and they do the most delicious curry sauce! The portion sizes are very generous. There's a huge variety of goods in the grocery section. A Bit of Britain does not disappoint and gives us that little bit of home here in Oz! Oh and today I tried battered pigs in blankets they were delicious! Well done to the staff, you are doing amazing and always greet us with a friendly smile!

Went here today for fish and chips as a treat. The service was excellent and the batter on the fish was the best I have tasted in years and I have just got back from the UK!! Love going for my fix of British Fish and Chips when I am in the area. Steve from Southbank.

Decided to have a drive up from South Brisbane to try their fish and chips and it was definitely worth the drive, great customer service, really good food and at a reasonable price. Kids got the burgers and really enjoyed them We will definitely be back. Only issue was they had sold out of Newcastle brown ale 😉

Great British chippy located in North Lakes. Crisp batter and flaky white cod served with hand cut chips and curry sauce 🤩 Huge portion too, washed down with a can of shandy. A real taste of home 👍

Service, food and atmosphere is amazing, love coming to a Bit of Britain. Great range of English goodies and staff always up for a chat. Love the little notes of happiness I received on my online orders. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

Working in PNG when I get back the 1st place I head to is ABOB for my fix of real Fish and Chips (Aussies have no idea how to cook a proper chip). Had the $10 lunch special and special it was .... a good-sized portion, lashing of salt and vinegar, I was in heaven. Only been to the North Lakes store as its just down the road. So glad they took over from the old place that shut down there .... I would highly recommend this little piece of the motherland to all. Great choice of British foods and beers is a Billy bonus.
