I am usually afraid of the dentist but this office is very welcoming and I was not anxious at all . The front desk girls, Nia and Priscilla , were amazing. My hygienist Mary was wonderful and informative. I felt very comfortable with her. Dr Luna was also very comforting and personable. I am excited to come back.

The dentistry is located in a very great neighborhood. Inside the dentist office, it’s cozy and comfortable to sit and wait. They have a fridge stocked with water and a coffee machine. They have a little kids play area with books and toys too. The front desk staff is very kind and welcoming! My new patient appointment was so fast and thorough. I had to switch dentists after my previous long-time dentist was no longer in network with my insurance. I am so glad I switched to this dentistry! They took great care of me. All of the staff are friendly and willing to help. They definitely want to make sure you have a great experience. They conveniently have 7am appointments on Wednesdays and Thursdays too for those of us that don’t want to miss work! Dr. Andrea Sauerwein is so sweet, has great bedside manner, and is incredibly detail-oriented with her work. She doesn’t miss a beat! I highly recommend this place.

My 3yo often feels anxious going to new appointments, but Dr. Sauerwein did so well with him! She was fun and extremely patient while we worked on getting him comfortable in the office. He left actually feeling excited to come back! I am so grateful for how Highlands Family Dentistry cares about families and children alike.
