This hotel is very good and I highly recommend it. The location is not the best, as there is nothing close to it other than a Wendy's restaurant, and you'll need a car to go anywhere as nothing is within walking distance. The hotel staff is very nice and very quick to respond to any issues that may arise during your stay. Unlike some other hotel chains, this hotel does not try to force their way into your room to browse through your possessions and the cleaning staff is very nice too. If you need a hotel in Central New Jersey and you're mobile, this is definitely one that I would recommend.

While the staff at this hotel was fantastic, the hard product let down the experience. I didn't sleep well, mostly due to an air conditioner that didn't stop running the entire time I was here. Additionally, these rooms are SMALL. Courtyard nearby was the same price, I'll be staying there next time.

The hotel is well kept and the rooms were clean. It's a good one night stay location for a business trip but not for a family. Depending on your taste of food you will have to drive a few miles. There is nothing to do in the near vicinity. I would rate the staff a (1) for friendliness. I personally would not return to this location again.

The only hotel we stay at when we go back home to New Jersey. The rooms are perfect, always clean and the perfect size for 2 people. The water pressure in the shower is amazing. I gave it 4 stars because the breakfast could be better, I would like to have a waffle maker and more than 1 option of meats, but I also understand because of the size of the kitchen area. The gym is clean and have the equipment we need to do our routines. My favorite part is the sugar cookies you're given when you arrive.

I'd give zero stars. Can't believe this hotel is affiliated with Marriott. Complete dump. Air conditioning in window unit cracked, exposing dust and mold. Then they give a room with wet carpet, disgusting. We left and went to another hotel.

We are a party of 4 and were given with 2 full bed suite. The room is spacious, clean and family friendly with kitchen (including all amenities in it) and a spacious bathroom. Also there is free breakfast, gym and pool. All well maintained. We felt like we should come back again for the hospitality and care shown by all the staff especially front desk staff.

I was in town for one night and stayed here. Damien helped us check in and was so friendly and helpful. Made us feel so welcomed. Excellent customer service. Hotel was super clean. Highly recommend.

All was great service at the Front desk by Damien he was just extraordinary, professional, helpful and always very courteous. Haiti from the Breakfast crew, her service was just great not only did she help me with the breakfast she also took it upon herself to help me locate towels for the pool. Room was just adorably set up, specially the towels. Unfortunately, the pool towel service was poor. We had a great time overall.

Very satisfied with my stay here. Here on business for a few days. I usually try to stay at "suites" hotels if I am there for more than a day or two. I saw this hotel was a short 5-minute drive to the office and had consistently good reviews. Large parking lot. Efficient check-in process. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and modern hallways and rooms. Rooms had kitchenette with stovetop, dinnerware, coffee maker, microwave and full-sized refrigerator. Large wall-mounted TV on swivel mount with lots of channels and free HBO. Also internet TV like youtube available. Comfy bed with clean sheets. Efficient room temperature controls. Desk with chair. Ottoman. Spacious and clean bathroom with great water pressure. Lots of electrical and USB outlets throughout the room; desk and bedsides. The gym was adequate with an elliptical, two treadmills, free weights and a weight rack machine. The free breakfast had two hot items (sausage and eggs) and other packaged/ready items: bagels, muffins, milk, juice, cereal, oatmeal, oranges, tea and coffee. Tea and coffee are available all day in the lobby. There is a small "pantry" section with drinks and snacks for sale. There is a Wendy's in the parking lot but it closes early so you may need to use the drive through later on. This is a pet friendly hotel...I did hear one dog barking intermittently on my floor but I was further down the hall and did not hear anything throughout the night.

Rooms are okay depending on which one you get. This is a pet friendly hotel and I love dogs, but everyone doesn't have the same level of hygiene. 60% of the time (we stay here for business 3 to 5 days a month) you'll get a room that smells like wet dog or will have watery eyes and sneezing from ???, but the other 40% of the time, you'll end up with a pretty clean room. I got the 60% on my most recent stay. Sofa was stained with some yuckiness 🤮. I put towels over it and hoped for a better future experience here. Also don't bother mentioning that you're Bonvoy Titanium Elite, makes no difference whatsoever. A complimentary bottle of water would've been highly appreciated, so never hope for a room upgrade here. Been coming here regularly for 6 years and this isn't "Cheers". There is a brand spanking new Double Tree across from our office however. We'll give them a try on our next trip to Dayton. Time to move up the Hilton Ladder!

Rooms are clean, now adays this has been hard to find. Staff polite, a few i dont feel like they just dont like to work. Housekeeping safe very nice and nothing is to much. Breakfast its ok, but this is a first. NONE of anykind of lactose free milk, no soy almond or oat milk. NO greek yogurt, which is lactose free naturally and not one GF item. It would be nice to have a breakfast item that i could eat. Really no fresh fruit to choose from. NO coffee creamers at all other than milk, come on please lets step it up a bit marriott and move into the new century. I do feel that the maintence people want to work late at night when your trying to sleep and loud banging and thudding noises start. I dont know why they aren't doing this loud repairs during the day. If these few things were done this hotel would be awesome.

I had never heard of TownePlace, but I'm so glad we chose it. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are awesome and I can't get enough of this fire pit. I feel so welcome here...it's just like going home!!! Love, love, live this place. Highly recommend whether for business or pleasure 👍 👍

I have to say that this hotel has the nicest and most helpful staff!! Stayed for 4 nights. The rooms are very small. The indoor pool is great, warm and clean. The general manager Lisa is extremely helpful and wonderful!! No place is perfect nor is it our own home, so I expect things not to be perfect but this is close to it.

Room and amenities were excellent. Spacious, clean, and comfortable describe the king suite. Plenty of storage, although the closet shelving could have been hung better to accommodate dresses and suits. The kitchenette was great, with everything one could need. Loved the larger sized fridge and freezer. The breakfast, however, was anything but extensive. Pre-made "souffles" in plastic wrapping, suitable for microwaving, were gummy and dense. Hard boiled eggs and bagels were the freshest items. The biscuits were dry, and the scones pre-packaged. English muffins were stale. Pre-packaged Oatmeal did have an array of toppings, though. The counters were dirty, and forks were awol. Staff, rather than wiping things down, sat for a long time watching TV at the end of the breakfast time...I guess waiting for us to leave. Outside there was a BBQ area, as well as a fabulous fire pit surrounded by couches. A nice touch.

Disappointing experience for a hotel affiliated with Marriott. The first issue we had was the air conditioning smelled terrible and made it unusable. Next, we were traveling with our 2 year old and chose the hotel because it had what looked like a very nice indoor pool. The pool heater was “out of service” and the pool was freezing, completely unusable. The hotel did nothing to stop loud music and people screaming in the hallways all night long. The breakfast was terrible, a couple pre-packaged muffins and dry waffles. The cherry on top was trying to find a bellhop cart in the morning when we checked out we found that there were none around and the front desk staff was nonexistent. Overall not what I’ve come to expect from hotels affiliated with Marriott.

Love it here, have stayed twice now. Everyone is so friendly, helpful and the place is so clean. Breakfast isn’t “amazing,” but still good for what it is!

Comfortable for a two night stay with 4 boys on a trip to Great Adventure. One thing that is weird, at least to me, is that they allow outside swim instructors to give swim lessons at the indoor pool. So boys were restricted to only part of pool and had to use extra discretion.

Not so great, toilet wouldn't stop running, was asked if I checked the chain! Not my job.. bathroom seek clogged, and saturated the bathroom floor, "hot" breakfast was a joke. I get the whole covid thing, and staff was great, but this wasn't what hoped for

Room was ready early and nice. Bed was so comfortable! Mugs that were placed like they were clean needed more attention. Toilet paper holder was broken and made the roll fall into the trash bin. Wish the mirror by the door had a light.

Very clean cozy and comfortable. PHENOMENAL customer service..pool was amazing taking a dip in the pool which was so warm while barbecuing on the grill which was right directly at the pools eye. The hotel itself is in a great location very quiet with it being in the cut.. which was the best part about the location..I will surely recommend as well as go stay there again
